I’m really happy to have found you here on youtube, apart from sharing the love for more or less the same hardware, your workflow and music are top notch, you are literally the only one that ticks all the boxes. Thank you. I can guess the answer, but still want to ask, is Hydrasynth good for gritty electro? From the patches I heard online, I didn’t get that impression, but I can assume it’s a can synth and you can get whatever you want out of it? Thanks James.

Thankyou, glad to hear you are enjoying the content and topics 🙏 For the Hydra I would say absolutely, I’ve only just started bringing it back into my setup and before I was using it to make techno and slightly electro breaks stuff. Hydra shines particularly in electro when you want something wierd and modulated. If I want an analog bubbly bassline, like Jensen interceptor vibes il go for the Typhon, hydra can also do it really well but I always reserve the hydra for more intense sequences, pads, poly stuff.

@@jamesorvis_mixhackers thank you, I'll be saving for Hydrasynth so, after Digitakt 2 of course. And then I'll get your course as well.

Basically, you helped us save money by not buying the Analog Heat +FX and more.
