I love this collection! So gorgeous. I only bought Aber-green, Loch-Smith, and Pipes. They were the only colors distinctly different from shades I already have, except for Unicorn but I’m not a huge blue person and I have a budget to keep to. I’d REALLY love to pick up Glas-glow but I have so many in that color family already. I’ll probably get it eventually if I find it when I’m out and about though. Thanks for the video and swatches!
So funny to me that you called this collection boring! I was an OPI diehard for a long time but the past 3 or 4 years at least I've been an obsessie and have hardly paid attention to any other brands (except some Live, Love, Polish color-changing heat sensitive polishes I adore) but this collection made me swoon, the purply nude, blues, grays and purples get me excited! Maybe it's just me but I mostly hated the essie rocky rose collection and the metallics. I haven't bought an OPI in a long time but I picked up 5 of these! Thanks for doing these videos and for your instagram I rely on your opinions especially on formula!

I always love puppy cameos! Great review and comparisons, and I don’t mind the attitude, haha. I also get tired of seeing similar shades across collections. But I’m thinking either the salons or the people keep buying the reds, which is why they keep making them.
As always, love your videos, the lighting, the comparisons and your personality! This collection is pretty but nothing really new. The comparisons are so helpful, and I already have several of them lol. However for someone starting out, it's a nice variety of colors....thank you!!
Things I've seen in Aber-green is my favourite colour! But I've given up on the OPI collections because the formula seems to really chip fast on me (I know a lot of people have that complaint about Essie polishes, but I've never had a problem with the latter). Maybe I'll try the Infinite Shine formula in just that colour, we'll see. 😜

I was initially pretty happy with the color selection OPI came up with for this year’s fall collection. Reminded me a bit of the Iceland collection from 2 years ago that I absolutely loved. But after looking at them in store, I think my initial excitement was just because it wasn’t an entirely red and pink collection like last year’s Peru. That collection did nothing for me and I was incredibly disappointed that they made it their fall collection. For this year’s collection, I only ended up picking up rub-a-pub-pub, boys be thistling at me, and the Abergreen one, all of which I LOVE and am super happy with. The rest did seem a bit like a rereleased shade that I already own a bunch of. Thanks for your review and the comparisons are very helpful!
I've been wearing OPI for so long i think it's hard to find NEW shades. BUT, when u start doing comparisons the differences stand out, however subtle they may be. that said, u sold me on You've Got That Glas-Glow. I've only recently gotten into nude/light polishes cuz i just prefer dark...the darker the better. i kinda feel about nudes the way u feel about reds...all the same. anyway, i can't wait to pick up: Rub-a-pub-pub, Nice Set of Pipes, Things I've Seen Aber-green & Good Girls Gone Plaid. lastly, i LUV & prefer cream polish over everything else! i can definitely leave shimmers but, i do think they're pretty.
Does anyone else have a problem with OPI chipping/wearing off tips quite easily? I use base coat and top coat but it still wears or chips quickly. That being said, I love a lot of their colors!

I love the cream colors: cream mauve color, rub-a-pub-pub, good girls gone plaid, and boys be thistling at me. I love all of them for fall (October/November) and winter time.
I skipped on good girls gone plaid because I thought Essie wicked was basically a dupe. But it turns out Essie wicked is really similar to OPI complimentary wine, which I already had. Sometimes those off black Reds and purples can be so confusing 😂
This I'd the first collection I've bought all of the colors. I love it! My next favorite is the iceland collection but theres a few from it I didnt buy
I wish OPI had embraced the Scotland theme more creatively and thoroughly. The names are cute but nothing special (except for Guilt Under the Kilt!!), the colors are kind of boring except for a few standouts, and their promotional photos show us Asian type models -- not the brassy redheads with cornflower blue eyes and plenty of freckles I was expecting!! And couldn't they have included a nod to some of the cultural things that make Scotland special? Like Mary, Queen of Scots, or John Brown, or a couple of the clan plaid names? More geography, maybe? I won't be buying any of these but I am always hopeful for OPI's holiday collections. They generally offer more creative finishes in those (though yes, plenty of reds, too). By the way, the olive green one looks awesome on you -- I can see why you enjoy this shade!!
I dont know if I'll be ordering any of these...I already have so many polishes. I personally enjoy the shimmery ones but I dont need any of the ones you showed because I already have similar ones. Im kinda 'blah' on this collection. Sorry.
I'm blah on it, too. Once you have your basic colors in all the seasonal variations and finishes, nothing is that special anymore. However, if you need a replacement for an old one, that's when these collections of shades we've all seen before come in handy. Need a fall orange? OPI puts one out just about every year. (Other brands do the same.)
I was so excited about this as Scotland is my favourite place in yen world but was a bit disappointed. Especially by the names. They didn’t seem to do their research. For example, Edinburgh-er and Tatties is not right. Tatties aren’t fries, they’re mashed potatoes and you don’t eat them with burgers. Fries in Scotland are called chips just like the rest of Britain.
You don't sound dumb at all! Polishes can have a jelly finish which is see through and squishy looking and they can also have a thick creme consistency. A mix between the two is sometimes referred to as 'crelly'. Does that make sense?
I must say that I don´t like this collection at all. The good news is that I will definitely save up money here :D The only shade I might buy is the metallic purple...

I really love to use @glistenandglow1 topcoat! It works so well for me and my manicures last longer when I use it.
Nope I always get a good 6-7 days wear with no chips. I use opi top & base coats

I have only tried a few polishes from the Infinite Shine system and I didn't like them very much. I should try a few more.

pinkabuki creme/jelly formula. Looks kinda squishy on the nail.
Crelly finishes are quite shiny without a top coat.
Yes, those two ladies explained it perfectly. A mix of a creme and Jelly polish.
