I bought a few colors and I would say they do last over a week for me. BUT the solid colors were more difficult while the sparkly ones were easier and it lasted me two weeks!
i just bought this today and thought i was going crazy, i usually do DIY gel polish and i do a TON of strokes and you can’t do that at all with this polish it like dries instantly, it has no play time. thanks for the floating tips, im gonna try one more time before i return her!
Your video has some good pointers about OPI Infinite Shine system. Recently I purchased 2 bottles of my current favorite OPI color, "Lincoln Park After Dark". It's a near-black red violet. One bottle is the regular lacquer formula, and the second bottle is Infinite Shine. I was curious about the difference between the two formulas. I found the Infinite Shine to be very difficult to apply, and it looked messy. Of course the color is a very dark one, and it would tend to be thicker than lighter shades. I let the coat dry and it still looked very messy. Next I applied the regular lacquer formula and one coat went on very smoothly. This is the formula I have been using all along, so I will stick with it and return the bottle of Infinite Shine to Ulta. The top coat I use is Sally Hansen Double Duty, which provides plenty of shine. Manicures last me 7-10 days, even with a very dark color like LPAD. I usually push back my cuticles the night before I do a manicure. After washing my hands in warm water, I rub them with lots of Wella hand cream, paying close attention to the cuticles. Then I carefully push back the cuticles. The hand cream makes this a gentle process, and my nails are ready to be polished the next day. Saves time.
Oh look I’m actually eating lunch and watching one of your videos 😂 Girl. I have so many thoughts I can’t type them all out. I feel so bad you picked bubble bath 😭 But needing 3 coats for that type of color is super normal! And I can’t believe the wear time you got!!!! I was dying at the open and shake your bottles first and the snaccident 😂 You’re doing so well, coming from the dip powder world!

I have tried Dazzle Dry. The 5 minutes is no joke - it’s awesome. And it lasted about 7 days for me, which was a total shock. Everything chips on me. I didn’t love the top coat, so I just added another brand quick dry top coat and it was fine!
@@SipAndDip I am an indie polish maker, so I use my own quick dry top coat. However, I’ve used Seche Vite before, which is a really good one. The one thing I noticed about Dazzle Dry is that it tends to shrink a bit at the tips. Even with that, I still love the system. I’ve been trying some of my own polishes with the base to see how they hold up as well. It’s fun to experiment. :)
Wow 7 days is amazing! I thought they still looked really good even with the matted top coat 😍
Right?! I honestly was just hoping for 5 days 🤣

@@SipAndDip thank you!!!😃
have you tried dazzle dry? i’d be curious how this compares, especially since dazzle dry only has a 5 minute dry time!
I haven’t but I can def look into it! A 5 min dry time sounds amazing 🙌🏼 my sister has been loving the Olive and June quick dry drops!
