1st off, don't worry if you're not doing well. Because it's your 1st ever playthrough of this game as mentioned. Actually, it's good if you make mistakes along the way because THAT is how you learn and get better. But one thing that i'm already SUPER impressed is how well you're doing in combat (and evading). I'm super excited for this series! I'm pretty sure that, because of how sweet of a person you are, this is going to be a very emotional journey.
Haha, thank you! I was channeling my Witcher 3 combat skills with the dodging in combat! I think I'm going to need a box of tissues to have next to me as I play this 😅
I was in my 20's when I played the OG series. Playing this one in my 40's hit different, for various reasons and I've been curious how it would be interpreted by someone unfamiliar with Kratos origin. Needless to say I'm interested to see where this goes!
It's always nice to stumble across someone new play god of war, especially someone as nice as you seem. Looking forward to going on this journey with you not only as a viewer but as a potential subscriber as well. As for tips all i have to say is make sure to explore the areas you enter and to treat blocking like your best friend, other than that, can't wait for more.
As a fan of the series since I was a kid, it's gotten to the point where I honestly prefer new players going in FULLY BLIND. Like, not at all knowing what's going on and not watching those 7 minute recap videos which, in my opinion, just don't represent the previous games well. Going in fully blind really adds so much to these newer games, I'm excited to watch this playthrough.
The iPad comment was so real 😂😂 new sub, I’ve watched people play through this game more times than I’m comfortable admitting and I can only hope you play Ragnarok aswell !! 🙌🏽
I’ve watched your play. In case you haven’t you should turn the difficulty up one level. You are good enough. Don’t worry about dying. You are meant to. Many many times. Enjoy. It’s an incredible series. 😊😊😊
Haha, thank you!! I think I will increase the difficulty if I feel like I've mastered the combo moves. I still sometimes feel like I'm just rolling around and left clicking 😂
@@ShesEmma you got this. I’m new to the channel. After watching a few minutes I realized you’ve got more skills than you give yourself credit. The game is meant to be challenging. Especially some of the later opponents
Oh how interesting! I don't know what the style of music would be called, but it reminds me a lot of the Witcher 3 music which holds a special place in my heart.
Oh boy brace yourself for one of the best storytelling and character developments in gaming and pop culture history . Also keep some tissues in stock just in case lol
Unless you have a good reason, don't turn off Vsync. Lots of people who have never streamed or recorded games before will tell you to turn it off. They are mistaken.
I have to be honest. I enjoyed watching you play Fallout more. As I'm restarting a game myself, also just a game I love more. I thought about seeing if I could replay God of War, but the copy I own is for PS3, and I'm don't rebuy things.
I hope you guys enjoy part 1 of this series! Follow me on Twitch to watch me play this live. I’d love for you to say hi 👋 www.twitch.tv/shesemma

@@ShesEmma You will 100% need some tissues, I needed them so badly during my playthrough of the two games

Yay! I hope you enjoy the rest of the series and thank you for watching!
Cozy Goddess Of War! Let’s go!

I agree. 😭😭
Kratos's voice is by Christopher from Stargate SG1

Yay, I'm so glad! I had the realization that I know just as much about Kratos as his son does, which I think will make for an interesting journey.
Yup. Either you know or you don’t. A seven minute recap video is no way to experience the original trilogy anyway.
Awesome playthrough, shame you missed all that stuff at the start, but you can go back. You can always go back in this.😊
I've noticed that! The game really encourages you to go back to a lot of areas by having mechanics that you can't unlock until later. I like it!
The luck stat increases your XP gain multiplier. It's really useful to invest in early game, and you can swap out later.
Oh ok! Good to know!

Thank you for subbing! I plan to play Ragnork right after finishing this one 😁

1:22:02 Kratos vigorously rolls around his foe to establish dominance.
LMAO I'm a roly-poly in these types of combat games 🤣
The composer is Bear McCreary. Most people associate his work with the Outlander TV show. For myself it will always be Battlestar Galactica.

Finallyyyyy girl ever since you played Zelda tears of the kingdom I’ve been waitingggggg
Yay!! I'm so glad you're excited for this 😁
New game new game
Nice game
My birthday today
Happy birthday!

God of War (2018) was first launched for PS4.. not PS3.
If you are sure you have God of War for PS3, then you have different game.
