I really enjoyed this pattern and that you gave the instructions in a manner that I could follow is much appreciated. I am looking for a way to make them bigger to fit some pasta bowls that I use daily for my meals. They are wider and a bit more flat with no flute. I have some soup bowls that these almost fit, however they are a bit large for those. I know it has to do with math but I am horrible at trying to figure that out. Could you possibly help me. Thank you.

Thanks, I have a few vintage with dirty water

Distilled or purified water is best. Tap water will grow bacteria and make the water turn brown. Using a permanent glue will make it almost impossible to open the bottom to replace the water in the future.

Excellent, straight-to-the-point tutorial, thanks. I can offer an additional suggestion: if you're having trouble prying up the bottom, run a hair dryer over it to soften and loosen the glue.

Great Video, I have done a lot of electrical Work, it was great to have heads up, so I order the materials they come in today and my Santa is lit up thank you. the only thing the wires in Santa were really small had to take a knife to them. Got a couple more hope them wires are bigger it would be a lot easier. Thank you

For anyone making this with 2 or 3 weight yarn: -Size 3.5mm hook for brim. Size 5 mm hook for hat. -Chain 16 (15sc in total for brim) -Around 22" inch brim length (54 bobble rows) -108 stitches along brim instead of 72 -Keep doing the pattern stated in the video, each round will just be more of that pattern. -Keep going until about 45-46 stitches are left before closing hat (you could also keep going until hat is fully closed). -Pom-Pom ball: chain 16. 6 inches length total (14 bobble rows)
