I don't know if Mindfulness is a Buddhist belief, but I have tried it (what I can understand) but in my Catholic belief. For example, I too love nature and admire God's creations. I try to observe the little things and try to move at my own pace, calmly. And I am grateful for each day for what God has given me that day. But sometimes I forget certain things like slowing down and be mindful of what I do. Is that how mindfulness works??
Good morning!☺️ Yes, mindfulness stems from Buddhism, but I find it's a practice that can complement anyone's life, no matter the religion or belief. Mindfulness is about living in the present and being conscious and aware of what we're doing. Of course, sometimes we might forget, but the moment we catch ourselves and bring our attention back to the present...we are practicing mindfulness.
