I know what you mean. I've had massive problems all my life - never had a period, always had a very swollen abdomen, very severe hair loss which started when I was only 12, eyebrows and eyelashes completely disappeared around the same time. I've been from doctor to doctor. Not one was willing to investigate what the underlying issue was. I got fobbed of with "you are just getting old" (this when I was 24), "you are just imagining not having periods and your hair falling out" (how can anyone imagine these two things... I got mocked for having very little hair on a daily basis until I started to wear wigs, never found a husband because of this, and I think it's rather impossible to "imagine" not to have periods if one is having periods...), "this is just normal for you" (no it isn't normal for a young woman not to have periods and to go bald in a very distinct male pattern baldness way!), "everybody in your family is bald too" - erm no they are not, everybody including the men in my family had very thick and black hair even into very old age.
I've been told "just take the pill" and "get yourself pregnant three times and everything will be normal" more times than I can count - well how can a girl with no periods get pregnant, apart from that I've always been single due to the very severe hair loss... and why would I take birth control when I'm single and can't get pregnant anyway...
Now in my forties, I realize I've missed out on being a normal woman, having monthly periods, having normal hair and looking normal, finding a husband and having a family, just having a normal life. Instead I've been relentlessly mocked, ridiculed, disbelieved and not taken serious by doctors, stared at in the street due to my very advanced male pattern baldness, and I have always just been the joke figure, the freak, the creature that's not a proper woman - but never good enough as a wife, never good enough for even basic respect, never good enough for anything other than abuse and ridicule.
At the same time, some old dude I know has been taken extremely serious by all doctors he came across when he complained of ED, he's been offered all sorts of things from injections to pumps to the blue pills, he's been offered investigations, he's been examined, all on the state medical system - and all only because he cannot accept that he's simply old and just can't do as he wants to any more! And what does he do with his newly found, ahem, "success"...? Well let's see - he stalks women (including me!) and young girls, he - and this is shocking so a warning here - extremely brutally murdered my cat because he thought once the cat is out of the way I would happily spread my legs for him, he takes advantage of extremely vulnerable women that don't understand what's going on around them (eg the intellectually impaired, the mentally ill, newly arrived immigrants, underage girls with mental problems etc), he has affairs with married women all over the place because he enjoys breaking up marriages...
Yup, it's exactly the same now as it's always been. Doctors and medical science want to help old perverts that can't get it up any more but women who are genuinely having serious gynecological issues get fobbed off, ridiculed and kicked out of the consultation room!

Consume more iodine rich foods to bring thyroid levels back to normal. Reduce stress overall and drink lots of water. Take multi vitamin too to avoid the problem with thyroid coming back.

Wish my doctor had known this or told me this. I was just told thats menopause and your TSH levels are good when mentioning some of these symptoms. Ended up get estrogen dominant stage 1 breast cancer. Now I follow most of these suggestions to prevent it coming back. I am not taking the estrogen inhibitors because I do not trust them. I will hope what I am doing naturally will work. I will more than likely use the hormone test kits if my doctor doesn't do them just to keep track.

Maybe 4 years ago or more, I had to go to the ER (with help to even walk in) because I was so weak from blood loss. I was having bleed for days on end for THREE MONTHS before I decided to go to the ER. They said I was fine but that I needed to be on the lady pill to help fix my body feeling the need to always be on the lady cycle. I didnt have insurance at the time so they gave me 3 to 6 months of birth control "samples". By the next visit, they'd change the pill on me to a different brand. I was raging with anger, I'd sob for no reason...I was a ticking time bomb. I've been on Nikki 0.5 mg now for over 2 years with my insurance and I love it. It's perfect for my body and im not out of control at all. I feel like I have control over my emotions again. And I can focus on my college studies and worry less about becoming pregnant.

I moved to the desert in Arizona to help with my seasonal depression. Here 14 years now and still get a threatening feeling starting August but last few years it’s in September. On the east coast the threat - like a feeling of doom- was really overwhelming in August since “summer” was declared over in September.
Here in AZ it’s a lot lighter but I still feel threatened to some degree. Vitamin D level is over 100 so I’m glad with that. Never could stand winter- I want life and living like nature is in spring and summer!
