Im trying to wrap my head around j trim on a door, there is no nail-fin or ledge to tuck the J trim into do you have to order the door with brick mold? Ive been re watching a bunch of your videos to see if you’ve covered this but cant find it.
I'm a teacher for a CTE (Career and Tech Education Center, and want to thank you for the extra time spent to help educate me and our youth. I love the attention to detail! I'm glad to see that other people still take pride in what they do, and you lead by example! THANK YOU!
You could almost press play and let them watch then pause it to talk through what he’s doing and do it themselves. Especially those first few bends. They could do that with scraps. We need a bigger emphasis on CTE. We don’t have enough skilled laborers in our country and everyone doesn’t need to go to college. Appreciate what you do.
I am construction engineer and live in Belgium, here we build differently, but I am very happy to look at details in roof construction carried out by you, congratulations you are a good teacher.
Cutting that metal like a boss though 👍 difference in The Build Show & others is this guy actually does work. He’s the real deal where the other guys just talk a lot !
I'm not even a builder. Just a normal guy who loves to learn construction techniques. I wanna say I really appreciate your video's. Highly informative, easy to follow, very detailed and your work is amazing.
@@benjaminbarclay2766 that's great news Ben. In advice column, make sure your there every day you're supposed to & be a bit early & pay attention & be eager to learn. Been there done that. Again congrats on the start of a very productive future.
I have to agree with what's already been said by others. Your workmanship and the skills you have are simply the very best I have seen in years. Love how you work. Could watch these videos all day long and never get bored with the end results. Really inspirational.
I'm getting ready to do a metal roof on my main and mother-in-law house. I think I have ADHD and I think you do too because I can certainly relate to your perfectionism. I have watched a lot of different people and you and your sidekick are the very best exclamation point I'm going to re-watch most all your stuff because I'm picking up other little things that I was not aware of. I hope you have a great 4th of July. Thank you for the great information. I look forward to watching you as well as being educated
I want to add what everyone else is saying is that I really like your attention to detail and I’m learning something from every video I watch. You guys are awesome.
I love your attention to detail! I know every other comment says this but I also am a very detail oriented person... So my comment weighs more... lol... I installed a bathtub at least 10 times today just to get it perfect... My wife kept telling me it was good enough but we know good enough isn't perfect yet... Has to be perfect!!!!! Thanks Kyle!!!
OK. I dont do this for a living or anything close. Im a DIYer and have some construction skills but..... I am always in absolute awwww and my chin hits the floor every time I see you work with the metal trim. Overlapping seams and making those corner detail. Cutting and folding this or that over to close up the ends, tucking behind the back seam and so on. Keep up the great work and im gonna keep watching just to watch a true craftsman. Side note you and Greg are hilarious together lol
You guys are doing a fantastic job. Love watching you guys work. Have no clue what half the stuff you’re talking about, but the attention to detail is admirable.
Once in my neighborhood Johnson's had a dream to fix up their house so they hired Euroclad for the roof. Their old roof was in bad shape, with holes and leaks everywhere. They put their faith in Euroclad's know-how. A nice crew showed up without any fuss and turned the Johnson's roof into a copper showpiece that got the neighbors talking. The Johnson's felt proud and safe, like they had a brand-new house, thanks to Euroclad's top-notch work.
if i were in his shoes the video would of had a few mins of beep and beeping beeps .. my battery in my drill .. get a board in place over head got the screw ready pull the trigger ,,, beeping beeping beep ,, get down get another battery climb back up put board back up and retry ..
hey Kyle, your math background really helps BUT your eye for meticulous detail does not go unnoticed I just wished you did jobs as far away as Florida.Love your work.
I truly enjoy watching your attention to detail and how you carefully plan and execute each of those details. Looks awesome. Thank You again for sharing.
I just love watching you work. It’s great how precise you can be and the end result that it brings. I would also like to thank you for telling us about the tornado siren test. Thought that was a weird sound at first.
I have been searching for this exact type of information for weeks,,,and have watched a number of videos, but none addressed specific construction techniques as you have shared with us. Thank you so much for your attention to detail and your amazing talent with sheet metal cuts. I have subscribed and saved several of your videos and will study them closely as I build a woodshed addition to my metal building. I am a retired educator and life long learner,,,,,,and feel like I have just enrolled in the perfect online class on steel building techniques. I want to commend you on both your knowledge and presentation, there are many online college instructors who would benefit from following your lead. Thank you again, my little addition should be much better equipped to handle our Washington rainy season if I can implement the skills you have shared today.
This is pure art Kyle. As a roofing engineer by profession I must say that I have seen multi million dollar homes being ruined by janky workmanship. Very well done!
Started watching about a year ago and love each and every episode. Great craftmanship a lost art. Glad to see there are still some world class craftmans like you left!!
It’s actually a very well written and comprehensive book ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 . I wanted to pair this with an updated book on local codes to start planning a post-retirement dream shop. I think I have just about everything I need between the two. The extra plans available for purchase towards the end are priced almost as much as full home plans, not little sheds however.
You are amazing! Watching you do the detail work on the steel siding trim is mind boggling!🙀👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 When the day comes that your back prevents yo from doing this kind of work you should seriously consider becoming an instructor at a vocational school for aspiring construction professionals. You would be great at it,plus you would have all these videos a teaching aids!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That corner cut was seriously slick! Not the first time you’ve done that. That’s what separates the pro from the hack. Very, very nice work. Not everyone builds with that much thought and ability.
Greg is like a fine tuned piano. He is tuned to the song you are singing. Y’all work well together, that’s hard to find.A perfectionist An his perfectionister
It is soo good watching a profesional working, all the cuts you were doing , you lost me but then it fitted soo well, and it looks soo damn good too, ALL done by 2 guys!! Good Job.
I'm not into versetta stone or metal roofing since I don't do that parts on site but man I gotta admit as soon as I see you upload, as fast as I enter to click the like button! amazing works
You gotta talk one of your clients into doing Corten standing seam with cedar, hardie board or cedar look steel board and batten siding. It would look awesome and I would watch those videos over and over again because whenever I build a house, that's what I'm gonna do
Nice to see your attention to detail, like waiting till your done with the wall panel then removing the plastic covering on the roof!!! Not many guys would do that!!!
I loved watching you do that corner fitting at the beginning. I’m pretty sure I saw you using your math on that! I’m not a builder but I enjoy watching you two boys/young men... sorry... work with my hubby. God bless!
Those trim details are just awesome in fact this whole project is awesome, I hope the client appreciates the finished job, as usual RR buildings are smashing it, 👍👍👍👍👍
Nice detail. I was a tin knocker for more yrs than I care to think about and watching you use those snips reminded me of how picky i was with mine. You could lay 6 or 8 new pair on a counter and maybe just maybe 1 pair would be what I was looking for.
Thanks for watching todays video. Just wait until the end wall gets done and all the windows and steel are installed!! Going to be awesome
RR Buildings the level of detail in your work is inspirational to many other builders out here. Thanks
Question, why do you use a hammer and nail sometimes then use a powered nailer other times?

Very high workmanship indeed. Never seen builders use that much detail in flashing a corner. Thanks for sharing your passion.

I love your attention to detail! I know every other comment says this but I also am a very detail oriented person... So my comment weighs more... lol... I just hope the owners appreciate it as much as we do Kyle! Awesome attention to detail
That cut was a flex!!!!!!!!
I love how you take pride in your work. Some people would just throw it in however just to get it done.
You guys are doing a fantastic job. Love watching you guys work. Have no clue what half the stuff you’re talking about, but the attention to detail is admirable.
Meticulous to the MAX. Really admire your workmanship.
Watching you turn the corner with the metal, you're truly an artist, man.

That first corner was gorgeous.
That was one awesome corner cut!!

Watching you custom fit the metal is tremendously satisfying. Thanks for sharing your expertise.
A true craftsman at work.
You're trim details are next level! You're like a surgeon with tin work.
Marks mini square is so handy. Your trim details are one point!

Looking great as always brother!
And that is why you want Kyle putting up your post frame building. Amazing attention to detail.
Watching you makes me want to quit my IT job and go do this. Looks so much more satisfying.
That’s what I did lol
I think he would be a great person to intern with he'd get free labor and I would get a master's degree in OCD
Wait I already have a master's degree in OCD
What a legend!! RR buildings, Scott brown carpentry 👍👍👍👍👍👍
It always makes my day when a new RR Buildings video drops!
Looking great, guys!
This is pure art Kyle. As a roofing engineer by profession I must say that I have seen multi million dollar homes being ruined by janky workmanship. Very well done!
that corner detail was CLEAN
“Get outta town”...that was brilliant, they way you folded that corner was pure genius. It’s like Origami flashing art!
Nice flashing details... especially the drip cap corner post detail above the stone...and the wall flashing!
God how does it feel to get paid for doing something as perfect as you can instead of just getting it done. So 🔥
That corner...pure art!
Started watching about a year ago and love each and every episode. Great craftmanship a lost art. Glad to see there are still some world class craftmans like you left!!
Kyle, both you and Greg are amazing CRAFTSMEN!
And entertaining
This build is absolutely stunning.
I have never done a standing seem roof like that. Just the screw down kind. Cool video
The detail that you put into your projects is amazing. Very few people would have done the flashing on top of the stone the way that you did.
The attention to detail in your work is incredible, love these videos, keep them coming.

great craftsmanship. I like learning how to properly cut metal.
That is some seriously trick metal work. Very nice work, Kyle. I learn a ton every time I watch you guys.
What a beautiful structure.
Had my Midwest left n right snips for over a month now WOW I can see why you use them. Great work as usual

Always the fine work and craftsmanship.Congrats.
Some beautiful craftsmanship, amazing .........great video thanks
I really like when it's time for metal details in these builds. Learning so much mate, appreciate the love you put into creating this material.
I think new construction homes would be worth the price if I know they were putting as much attention to detail as you do in your builds.
You'd not be able to afford it if everyone overkilled construction like this.
@@fcuk_x overkilled you mean done the right way? if you want to live in a half assed built house speak for yourself.
Build your own house
Definitely not overkill. Its being done like it should
Mexicans do the same quality of work as RR Buildings does right? Right????

sweet looking details on the trims. appreciate the craftsmanship!

Fantastic job. Very impressive.
That was a very complicated corner flashing, I would and did get lost. :) Thank you for sharing.
The job looks great - attention to detail is so important and satisfying. Thanks.
At times it can be mesmerizing watching you cut and bend the flashing/trim.
Kyle, Love watching your videos. Awesome work with the steel. It's like watching origami with steel!
"Daddy, mom is watching the cute builder guy on your computer" greetings from Bolivia!!!
Ownnnn... give her a break darling!
It's not a big deal. I'll just watch this channel along my wife!
And... and... and... she say he got a bubble butt! Lmao 😅😂🤣😭
It’s ok. Daddy can just watch the welcome to the woods girl. 😁😁
