It’s because he’s a real and genuine person. He’s not reading a script anymore and even when he was, he wrote the dang thing. He has always been someone that hasn’t been afraid to think freely. That used to be a core American value. That’s how I was raised. I didn’t care for Tucker in his bow tie era, but Tucker post 2008 has been someone I have followed more and more and now I am a proud member of his own network.

Have been to Moscow last summer, saw most of the country and it was beautiful. No crime to worry about, new roads everywere, people were very nice, trains were great. food was diverse and very good.

Mr Carlson You are a very smart man. I came to this country as an immigrant 40 years ago I raised 2 kids and love this country. However I think our leaders are choosing to go the direction that does not represent our idiology and good hearts. The application process is complex and requires the approval of all other NATO members as well as the applicant to meet NATO standards. Russia, then and now, never met the criteria to join NATO. I lived 5 years in LA, 7 years in Moscow and now living in Dubai. Moscow is definitely safer, cleaner and prettier than most US cities. Public transport is amazing, food options are plenty, prices reasonable (you don’t need to tip for everything). You don’t see many homeless or crazy ppl on the streets, don’t see drugs being sold and used openly. This is just my experience of living, doesn’t have to do anything with politics.

The Putin interview and this interview are integral to create meaningful discussion. This is a great moment in history. I’m not a huge fan of Tucker and disagree time to time. But what he did was probably the most important thing in the world. It will spark others to seek truth, knowledge and question things. I hope journalism becomes more independent not run by governments pushing agendas, narrative and talking points.

I'm so glad I saw this. I have avoided commentary by the media about the Putin interview, but was unsure what to think. My inherent respect for Tucker has now tripled or quadrupled. This is the sort of man America used to support in quantity. Now, honest thoughtful people are being suppressed, and they are necessary.
He's an older Episcopalian, so he's both liberal and conservative at the same time. He just wants the truth in order to have people be successful. He questions his own position constantly - he doesn't trust himself in order to be a better person.

I saw David Suzuki become compromised when he was to air an interview with Andrew Wakefield that I had much anticipated. When it went to air , all that aired was an hour of static. So what did you learn?
I lived 5 years in LA, 7 years in Moscow and now living in Dubai. Moscow is definitely safer, cleaner and prettier than most US cities. Public transport is amazing, food options are plenty, prices reasonable (you don’t need to tip for everything). You don’t see many homeless or crazy ppl on the streets, don’t see drugs being sold and used openly. This is just my experience of living, doesn’t have to do anything with politics.
You don't see that shit anywhere but the same 5 blocks in the same 3 cities that every douche with a camera phone makes videos about. Get over yourself.

Tucker gives Putin a pass for starting this war, for killing innocent Ukrainians. His language makes it sounds like the war "just happened"; when it was clearly a war of choice. He glosses over Putin sending his citizens to certain death in human wave attacks. Blockading grain exports leading to mass starvation in some of the poorest countries in the world. Is that "honest journalism"?

Or his trip to a Moscow grocery store, where he spent around $104, and said he and his team agreed that it would cost around or over “$400 in America”, thereby trying to imply that groceries/food are more expensive in America. However, there are multiple problems with his grocery store trip and the conclusions he reached and his attempted implications.
1. Based on what was bought, it would not cost anywhere near “$400 in America”, but probably closer to $250. That shows his disconnect from reality (he probably doesn’t even do his own shopping in America) and, MORE IMPORTANTLY, how little he cares about ACCURACY in his claims. Does that seem like “honest journalism”?
2. He also IGNORES the fact the Russian’s have MUCH lower incomes than Americans, and so EVEN if groceries/food is somewhat cheaper in Russia, Russians STILL spend more on groceries/food because of their much lower incomes, which leads me to;
3. Russians SPEND 30% of THEIR INCOME on groceries/food, while AMERICAN’s ONLY SPEND about 10%.
Tucker COMPLETELY neglected to account for and mention that. Does THAT seem like “honest journalism”?

Tucker's observations of Moscow reinforce my own from three trips I made in 1999 and 2000. A beautiful city with generous, cultured, people.
My wife went to Moscow in 1989 with a school group. She and I went in 2017. She was amazed by the change. It looks like Berlin.

There is one thing that made me trust and respect Tucker: he apologized for his support to Iraq war, it means he did two very remarkable things that is as rare as precious: 1) questioning himself and his opinion/information, 2) Apologizing for a good faith mistake.

Why would Russia initiate peace talks? They can only gain more territory if the war goes on. They might even win this war. If the US wants peace, they must initiate peace talks. Or else there will be no peace.
This will be textbook "Art of the Deal" when Trump gets back to the table. Zelensky takes a back seat, and accepts the terms of a deal that concedes portions of Ukraine to Russia (that even Ukrainian citizens already consider part of Russia). Re-open economic relations between Russia and the US, a firm commitment that the Ukraine will not be admitted to NATO, in exchange for Russia backing away from its relations with China.

But what he did was probably the most important thing in the world. It will spark others to seek truth, knowledge and question things. I'm so glad I saw this. I have avoided commentary by the media about the Putin interview, but was unsure what to think. My inherent respect for Tucker has now tripled or quadrupled. This is the sort of man America used to support in quantity. Now, honest thoughtful people are being suppressed, and they are necessary.

Exactly, I remember when the integrity of the journalist was their dearest commodity. I saw David Suzuki become compromised when he was to air an interview with Andrew Wakefield that I had much anticipated. When it went to air , all that aired was an hour of static. I knew then something was up. His interviews never held any integrity following that, in my opinion.
