Being a 375ml at $50, I passed on this bottle. I didn't know it was a Wild Turkey product. I always pick up strong peanut notes in Wild Turkey and Russell's and it has put me off enough that I don't like them as much anymore.

Totally understand the nutty note on WT products. Opinion: The aged bourbons in this blend brought a nice oaky top coat that subdues some of that nuttiness. It felt more berry-Sweet in the nose.

It was the price mainly that I couldn't swallow, especially on an unknown. I've got burned before on age blended bourbon (Kentucky Owl) that was high priced so I became pretty hesitant. I'm sure I'll be able to pick this bottle up again, it was the last bottle available in a raffle list. Seems a lot of people didn't want to bite. Good to know it has berry notes.
