50 Days of Summer - Family Documentary Project

50 straight days of documenting my own family. And out of the almost 10,000 images I took, only 155 could make the cut for this little video.

This is the third year I've done this project and these 50 days flew by. We spent more time at home than last year's spring project. But thankfully we had more outings than the quarantine project. It's also crazy to see the changes that have happened even in this short time. But being able to see and remember these past moments just motivates me to keep this as a yearly project. These memories continue to solidify the importance of having real-life documented. I'm a sucker for a great portrait. But authentic moments will always win.
For my fellow photographers, I love to hear how many of you have started similar projects for your own family! And I love seeing your results! For those curious, this entire set was taken on my Sony a9. About 95% was with the Sony 24mm GM and then a small handful was taken on the Sony CZ 35mm (because I forgot my camera at Chasnies parent's house 🙈🙈)
