And Black Opium smells so good that I wouldn't wash my pillow case after my girl slept on it. So Libre is really doing bits

I love both of them and they have always been my "go-to" for the autumn season. However, Crystal Noir is more on the mysterious, sexy side, while Libre is more of a dynamic, successful young woman. And I NEVER get tired of wearing these babies. Love them soooooooooo much!!!!

Well I haven't smelled Libra or Libra intense, but Crystal Noir is a sexy, sophisticated, elegant and timeless ladies perfume. To me it is in the same realm as Shalimar, Anis de Anis, Tresor, Poison, Organza and Chanel 5 though each has its own character of course.
Crystal Noir has been my signature since like 2006. I've had at least 12 bottles. I think it probably smells better in the air rather than a tester strip. I will probably purchase YSL Libre though for winter use. It smells pretty good, but I still like Crystal Noir better. Thanks for the video Curly!
I don't like YSL Libre AT ALL. But I guess it depends on the version of Crystal Noir she's using (EDP or EDT). I've only ever had the EDP in Crystal Noir. . . I guess I'll have to go out and smell the Libre Intese since its so highly rated over Crystal Noir. Lol EDIT: I'm not sure what happened between last week and 10 months ago, but i went perfume shopping last week and FELL IN LOVE with YSL Libre. It definelty blows Versace noir out of the water. Noir has become way too strong for me, even when i only spray it once.
I agree with you 100% and folks will literally chase me down to ask me what I have on, and I would tell them Crystal Noir! The smell melts into my skin like butter and doesn’t cause me to have headaches! A lot of this really depends on the chemistry of our natural body smell. For instance, my husband once bought me a bottle of Chanel N5 and it smells really good ‘in the bottle’ but on me, old lady. No offense to anyone. It was soooooo strong!! I donated the perfume!
I love love love Crystal Noir and it has been my go to winter scent for years but I bought Libre Intense at the end of summer and haven't regretted it! I actually did have someone walk by me and do a double take when I wore it out one night. I'm looking forward to wearing it this winter.
I have been using libre ysl for 3 years now. And I have to say I can't count how many times people on the street have stopped me to ask me what my perfume was. I think ysl wins with perfume game by far. My husband wears la unit de l’homme by ysl, one of the best scents for men ever.

I am a perfume lover and I wear and own so many perfumes but I have never had so many compliments then when I wear Libre intense. Especially when I layer it with a spray of Eau de Merveille by Hermes and it’s just magical!! ❤
Libre Intense is prob the perfume worth the retail price I paid for lol. I don’t need to spray much and it lasts all day + everyone seems to love smelling it on me. And I usually get bored of perfumes after 3-4 months but this I still go crazy for 😂

I love YSL libre intense as a fall/winter fragrance too, it’s addictive! Versace is nice too, but it doesn’t have the sophisticated sexiness of Libre to it.
YSL Libre Intense is my confidence-boosting, head-turning, sexy-in-a-bottle fragrance. It's definitely a cozy date night in the fall-type of a fragrance. However, I love wearing it (lightly) to places like the grocery store just to see the look of surprise on men's faces as I walk past them 😊
The funny thing is, that I could predict the crystal noir pickers, usually it's more mature/masculine men. The "boys" picked the "happier" scent, where the men that know, what's up see the intrigue in the darker mysterious notes that are present along side with typical fruity, tropical notes of crystal noir I love crystal noir from the first sniff, it's simply more intriguing to me.
My husband doesn’t like cystal noir EDP on me. It doesn’t work well with my skin. So I handed it over to my mom, and she likes it. Her nurses would compliment her everytime she wears it.

It’s hard to choose bc it’s both totally different. One is bold/fresh (Libre) and Versace Noir is bold and dark! Btw, im sure many of you know this but Bath and Body’s Fairytale is a dupe for Libre - it’s great to layer together. I’ve yet to find a scent that layers well with Versace Noir but these two is on my forever purchase. Edit: I found the perfect BBW fragrance to layer with Versace Noir - Sunrise Woods! If you ask me, it’s another great for dupe!! Enjoy 😊 Btw - if any of you are interested, I have a handful of layering tips regarding BBW & designer fragrances. Or, if you want to save money I can let you in on all the BBW dupes 😉
Never tried Libre Intense, but tried Libre EDP. i think Libre EDP smells like sophisticated successful women while Crystal Noir smells like fun person who easily make people comfortable around her. both has each charms, but Crystal Noir is the winner for me
When I discovered Versace Noir it was by going to Macy's spray it on and going home. It was until I woke up in the morning that I was sooooo in love with the smell, I immediately went to buy at Macy's Versace Noir is the first perfume that has EVER EVER made me go back immediately the next morning ❤️ I finished that big bottle faster then any other perfume in my collection ❤️❤️

I am a completely blind cellist. I sit at the same bench every week to play music and hopes of brightening up some peoples days. There’s a woman who stops to listen every week. She’s always wearing Crystal noir. I’ll never know what she looks like, but I’ll always know it’s her. The chuckle when she knows that I know it’s her also gives it away, but yeah. Get this perfume.
Thank you for making this! I’d been eyeing the Versace Noir for a while now but had never smelt it. I was sure that I would love it based on the reviews, and especially because I like Bright Crystal. So, today, I went straight to the store after watching this, and to my surprise I didn’t like it! Unfortunately they didn’t have a sample of the YSL Libre, so I took a risk and bought the EDT 1oz just in case I didn’t like it. But the thing is, I actually LOVE IT! I genuinely think the notes mix with my pheromones or body oils really well. It just smells so good!! I also noticed that at the second store I went to after people kept double taking as they walked past. Now it’s 3 hours later, and I keep sniffing the sample of the Black Noir on the back of my right palm, and while it does smell better, I still don’t like it as much as the YSL. It’s like the scent of the Noir became more sultry, while the Libre is getting lighter and more playful, imo. But at first application, I didn’t like the Noir at all. I think the upfront coconut was a bit too strong for me.
Ms Curly Scents I agree with you that Versace Crystal Noir is the most seductive elegant and sexy female fragrance that ever existed. The reason it didn't win is because you used the EDT version rather than the EDP. . The EDP version is far superior and nothing can beat it. Thank you for everything you do.

Just a story... so I just bought libre le parfum like 2 weeks ago and I tell you its like a kick to my nose, its so strong I can't handle it. So I sold it to my husband's friend. While.... I just got my versace crystal noir EDT decant, and I looovveee it so much, its so soft, floral and everything mixed up so perfectly, and its so good for daily use. I guess I'll buy the full bottle
I'm definitely on board with the guys' preference. Have all the Libre fragrances except for the Le Parfum (the latest). I have A LOT of perfumes, but Libre is the first fragrance in a looooong time that caught my attention. Libre Intense makes me feel really seductive and feminine, whereas the original Libre makes me feel like a boss. Sexy and strong. The EdT is just a very nice summer fragrance if you're not into citrus freshies or laundry- clean scents. Le Parfum gets too many polarising reviews atm. If it's truly a spicy version of the OG, or even Intense I'll love it. But too many people say it is pretty much identical to Intense, but with less sillage and projection. With the YSL price point and my budget (only 1 designer perfume per year and sometimes less) I'd rather buy a few interesting Middle Eastern ones for the same money... According to Fragantica the Versace might fit into my collection, but somehow I've never felt the urge to "Add to cart". I fear it might be too... fresh. Boring, or sth. And my skin needs a heavier perfume to make it work. But...maybe I'll hit up a perfume store soon and see if that was a mistake or if I've not been missing anything.
I have both. Whenever I wear crystal noir I get compliments. I've not received a compliment wear ysl intense. But I love the fragrance and that's what matters most.😊
Crystal Noir is one of my 3 absolute intoxicating fragrances to smell on a woman. (angels Share and Burberry Her /Her Elixir were the other 2 ) But it’s Crystal noir EDP for me. I think they completely reformulated Crystal Noir. It smelled way richer when it came out.

Never tried Libre Intense, but tried Libre EDP. i think Libre EDP smells like sophisticated successful women while Crystal Noir smells like fun person who easily make people comfortable around her. both has each charms, but Crystal Noir is the winner for me

When I discovered Versace Noir it was by going to Macy's spray it on and going home. It was until I woke up in the morning that I was sooooo in love with the smell, I immediately went to buy at Macy's Versace Noir is the first perfume that has EVER EVER made me go back immediately the next morning ❤️ I finished that big bottle faster then any other perfume in my collection ❤️❤️

I am a completely blind cellist. I sit at the same bench every week to play music and hopes of brightening up some peoples days. There’s a woman who stops to listen every week. She’s always wearing Crystal noir. I’ll never know what she looks like, but I’ll always know it’s her. The chuckle when she knows that I know it’s her also gives it away, but yeah. Get this perfume.

Thank you for making this! I’d been eyeing the Versace Noir for a while now but had never smelt it. I was sure that I would love it based on the reviews, and especially because I like Bright Crystal. So, today, I went straight to the store after watching this, and to my surprise I didn’t like it! Unfortunately they didn’t have a sample of the YSL Libre, so I took a risk and bought the EDT 1oz just in case I didn’t like it. But the thing is, I actually LOVE IT!
I genuinely think the notes mix with my pheromones or body oils really well. It just smells so good!! I also noticed that at the second store I went to after people kept double taking as they walked past.
Now it’s 3 hours later, and I keep sniffing the sample of the Black Noir on the back of my right palm, and while it does smell better, I still don’t like it as much as the YSL.
It’s like the scent of the Noir became more sultry, while the Libre is getting lighter and more playful, imo. But at first application, I didn’t like the Noir at all. I think the upfront coconut was a bit too strong for me.
Ms Curly Scents I agree with you that Versace Crystal Noir is the most seductive elegant and sexy female fragrance that ever existed. The reason it didn't win is because you used the EDT version rather than the EDP. . The EDP version is far superior and nothing can beat it. Thank you for everything you do.
EDT is more of an Am use rather than pm. I'd use EDP in pm and EDT in am.
I think the edp may be discontinued. I can't find it anywhere in Australia.

I have not tried Crystal Noir yet, but I really want to, and have been wanting to. I have tested out Libre Intense in stores, and have really liked that one. Of the different Libres that was the one that I liked the most.
Just a story... so I just bought libre le parfum like 2 weeks ago and I tell you its like a kick to my nose, its so strong I can't handle it. So I sold it to my husband's friend. While.... I just got my versace crystal noir EDT decant, and I looovveee it so much, its so soft, floral and everything mixed up so perfectly, and its so good for daily use. I guess I'll buy the full bottle
I'm definitely on board with the guys' preference. Have all the Libre fragrances except for the Le Parfum (the latest). I have A LOT of perfumes, but Libre is the first fragrance in a looooong time that caught my attention. Libre Intense makes me feel really seductive and feminine, whereas the original Libre makes me feel like a boss. Sexy and strong. The EdT is just a very nice summer fragrance if you're not into citrus freshies or laundry- clean scents. Le Parfum gets too many polarising reviews atm. If it's truly a spicy version of the OG, or even Intense I'll love it. But too many people say it is pretty much identical to Intense, but with less sillage and projection. With the YSL price point and my budget (only 1 designer perfume per year and sometimes less) I'd rather buy a few interesting Middle Eastern ones for the same money...
According to Fragantica the Versace might fit into my collection, but somehow I've never felt the urge to "Add to cart". I fear it might be too... fresh. Boring, or sth. And my skin needs a heavier perfume to make it work. But...maybe I'll hit up a perfume store soon and see if that was a mistake or if I've not been missing anything.

Is it the EDT or EDP? EDP I just can't find it anywhere. I don't have the Libre intense. But I like how you described it. I don't like crowd pleaser frags. It either turns out to be very fruity or very sweet that gives me a headache.
Both are also my favorite ones and maybe I decided what to wear this weekend (Crystal Noir of course - I want something charming yet not so impacting so that seems perfect for the evening gathering I am attending) ;)
