To me, the Sub2K is like a backup for a backup. The Gen 2 with built in sights allows it fit a backpack pretty easily while having the capabilities to aim. Pretty much why I still have it because its pretty neat. Mine has a angled grip and a flashlight.
if you put flip up on the gen 3 its pretty much the same foot print. very torn between getting a new micro dot or just use flip ups.
Glad to see Kel Tec improving their lineup, these are some good upgrades to the Gen 2
Maybe gen 4 should be able to rotate the barrel 180 degrees so that it can neatly fold with optics.
The castle nut is also different. I got rid of my gen 2 because the nut became "unglued" and fell apart. Hopfully the gen 3 is better becuase its something I would actually like.
Make the grip the same length as the gen2, make the barrel the same as the gen2 and put the sights back on it, and it’s the perfect factory made sub 2000…
❤❤❤Can you just put a canted 45 degree mount on the side ,so you have your irons and a red dot on the 45 ,that's what i would try out ???????❤❤❤
Nice video production man! I just got into guns I work construction and some guy that was working there used to be a seal I guess he was telling me about this gun and how he has a 30 round mag on it with 2 more 30 round mags mounted on it how would one do that what would I need to buy to do that? Thank you
Look at the Smith & Weston M&P. It comes with a place to store 2 extra magazines. It's not a Kel Tec, but it folds just like it. It's a bit heavier also. I held both of them today, and im going with kel tec cause it is lighter.
@@arnellwyatt114 good choice me too I'm going with a kel tec sub2000 gen 3 that takes Glock mags honestly
Strike industries Ambush 45 degree offset mount is the best cheapest option I’ve used on the Gen 2. Fits and folds perfect. Accepts an insane amount of optics also. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
you cant conceal a rifle can you ?
Heard the gen 3's are having problems
What kind of problems? I got one only one rang trip so far just wanna know what to look out for. One thing I seen was a little buffer rubber bushing thing pops out sometimes in the buffer tube
@@ChrisWojnarski I have one only issue this past range trip last weekend was the recoil bushing got pinched between spring and locking clip. Ordered an MCarbo bushing much more rigid fixed the issue under 10.00 bucks! LOVE the Gen3 as a matter of fact! Have a green dot, flip ups, laser and flashlight , forward handgrip and rubber butt pad great shooter!!
@@MondaysWithMooch , Missouri Tactical off their store on Amazon fits like a glove also just upgraded the soft recoil buffer to a more rigid one from MCarbo. Paid 18.00 for pad down to 15.85 now!!
This was made for women.
I would love to see the Sub2k in 10mm!
