@ yes but the standard of football played by Manchester City this year is genuinely mid table level. This is the worst level of football city has played since heck I take it back, since 2010. The other thing I feel is maybe hurting, or certainly not helping City's cause especially given the Rodri situation, if you recall at the start of the new Premier League season in August people were saying about the City defence as being an "ageing" back four. A prime example of this, was Kyle Walker at the Euros in Germany, here is a right-back who is well and truely past his best. Walker should not be getting selected for England anymore, and he simply isn't good enough for the what City require. These two factors combined, add in the lack of confidence running throughout the side now and it's difficult to see how they can win at Anfield tomorrow, especially when Liverpool are looking so strong.
Doesn’t get talked about enough. Rodri is the piece that lets all that City team do their thing. Without him they are a shell of their former self. Liverpool are in the argument for the best team in world football at the minute, and if we are going to be honest Arsenal are a stronger team than this city team without Rodri
Doing research on names are hardly pundits greatest strengths. Some of them still call Ljungberg (pronounced like J or Y depending on where you are from) with a hard L. Lungberg. And that was 20 years ago and they still get it wrong!
For the first time since Guardiola became City boss, a combined XI is dominated in midfield by Liverpool. Has never happened, even during peak Klopp. That’s one area of the pitch where city players seem to have the upper hand in previous years. Says a lot about where these two teams are at the moment
I may get crucified for this but i think kellerher is one of the best goalkeepers in history! Been watching football 4 decades so id like to think this Warrents credence
If Slot started this season with according to Robbie was a title winning team - which of course he didn't think or say at the beginning of the season- perhaps he should ask himself what he and many Arsenal fans think Arsenal and Arteta started this season with, 6 years and 700m into his tenure? Good to see him having a pop at Spurs again... LEVELS. The same Spurs who beat City 4 - 0 which they've never been remotely close to doing.
Best combined XI video that i've ever come across.
Wow the kick off is back!
What got Rico Lewis in contention for one of the midfielders?
Buvey showing rare respect to Liverpool, who is this man? 🤣
NGL, everything was spot on.
Anyone else eat food whilst watching these
Why does every pundit call Arne "Arnie". It's not his name.
Doing research on names are hardly pundits greatest strengths. Some of them still call Ljungberg (pronounced like J or Y depending on where you are from) with a hard L. Lungberg. And that was 20 years ago and they still get it wrong!
@jonasolofsson4128 Arne literally told them how to pronounce his name, when he arrived in England & they just ignored him.
On Curtis , is it just me that feels it's such a shame we don't play a system with a 10 in it
No to Guardiol. He’s off the pace recently if current form means anything.
Diaz over gakpo is mad
I’d take Diaz over gakpo if one had to leave….
For the first time since Guardiola became City boss, a combined XI is dominated in midfield by Liverpool. Has never happened, even during peak Klopp. That’s one area of the pitch where city players seem to have the upper hand in previous years. Says a lot about where these two teams are at the moment
Props to Buvey. His team would’ve been my team as well
i think gakpo deserves a shout ngl
I may get crucified for this but i think kellerher is one of the best goalkeepers in history! Been watching football 4 decades so id like to think this Warrents credence
The bloke put Rico in😂. Probably the worst of the midfielders both squads have
8:45 Lozzy would do what to Allison???🤔🤨🤨
😳😳😳
Usually the title is 'How many Liverpool players get into City's XI'. First time the title is other way round ...
Gerrard Saga a few years ago ? Damn I'm still a kid.
Can you see Arteta going for City like Liverpool do under Klopp and now rookie Slot?
Fair play to Buvey, never thought I’d see the day he’s not being completely delusional 🤣
He's never delusional he's acc got good ball knowledgehe just loves to troll rival fans😂😂😂
Buvey is the only opposition fan that would have selected an 11 that honestly against his club
Kyle walker and Doku at wing back 👀 Buvey begging for Amorim ball already
Buvey wants the man city rebuild to begin
