Haha definitely. A good number are at Miquella's crosses, especially early on - think they should've just found an excuse to have more Miquella crosses and have them placed where every Scadutree Fragment you've picked up is.

Currently at the final boss. I was struggling a lot and I figured it was because I was only at fragment level 17. Thanks to this video, I was able to find the remaining scadutree fragments, and I'm proud to say I'm still struggling with the final boss at fragment level 20! :^)
MEEEEEEEEE LMFAOOOOO. We will get it bro. On my playthrough I'm just very hardheaded and want to solo every boss since it's my first time fighting them. Been successful with everything up until now. Also stuck on bayle, but he isn't as hard admittedly. Still a big wall for me though

Antspur rapier with bleed affinity. Trust me.
I was fighting him with 13 while on ng+5
Pro tip for anyone doing the DLC. Use the map markers to mark your own position every time you pick one ash or scadutree. This way you can keep track of those missing later just by comparing your map with the wiki.
Wish i had done this since i started the dlc. I'm at blessing level 18 and now i gotta find where the last 6 are.

If you do NG+, all blessings and fragments you’ve collected carry over and any frags you picked up can be looted again
And the difficulty will increase so yeah I'll just have to do it patiently or the enemy combatants will blitz me faster than a practitioner of Nanto Suichoken. I entered the Shadow Realm 72 levels above the minimum recommended level and it's still a struggle as intended but if I made the DLC it would be as difficult as Farum Azula and not require fragment collection I also would have made at least 5 representatives of every new weapon category and try to advertise the story campaign on the player since I feel they don't do that with Souls/Elden Ring enough it's just as important as gameplay.

the fragment 30 is actually recluse river downstream that you are showing but you said upstream. kind of confusing. also turning the compass overhead off is disorienting
I wish you didn’t hide from us what grace it was you were starting at 😭 sometimes you’d show us, other times I had no idea where your starting point was so i’d just have to go to another tutorial to find out how to get to the area

I picked up the one by the inquisitors in the abyssal woods yesterday, was at +19 and had 2 frags in my inventory afterward, so i came to this video. I follow along all the way up until that very spot, and its there as if i didnt get it 😭😭😭 even took a lil screen recording picking it up the first time cuz i thought it was my last one 😂 (ik, corny, hop off)
Hoe glitched on me fr i thought i was going crazy runnin around the map. Thank god i did the walkthrough of each spot no matter how tedious
Fun fact! It’s pronounced “shadow tree fragments”. They are using old English where the “sc” makes a “sh” sound.

It also surprised me when I found out gaol is the Old English spelling of jail.

I thought that might be the actual way to say it steaming from the spelling of gaol in the main game. Make me chuckle to say "skadoo!" every time I get one.

why does thumbnail state "all 50 fragments" and yet the last one you collected was number 41 and I followed the entire journey and I am missing 2. I got 19 upgrades and only 1 fragment left...
Some of them drop 2 at the same time, like the first one and the golden hippo drop

I've watch dozens of videos like theses, and i still miss one, am i the only one ?
Most people seem to have either missed one of the two hippos in recluse river, or missed a pot pickup and now it’s gone. One person said they found the game had not registered their Mesmer pickup

Can you believe I ended up having to check all the places simply because I was missing one that I was sure I had picked up? In this case it was the dark room which is right next to Messmer, I casually went there, killed Messmer AND DIDN'T GET THE DAMN ITEM

Im missing one. ONE. I got through the whole DLC without looking up a damn thing, and now I'm at the end with ONE of these damn things missing, and I cannot for the life of me figure out which one it is. They all look familiar. Christ, fml.
That's it, I give up. I've _TRIPPLE_ checked every single item on this list, I KNOW I got them all. Still can't get the last upgrade. Fuck this noise, I am so beyond done with it. It is so incredibly frustrating to have meticulously combed through the DLC without looking anything up or getting help, only at the very end to be forced online for information, and all it did was confirm I got them all.

@@Gestalt81 I did. It's bugged, such that the pot spirits can occasionally delete a fragment. I'm not the only one experiencing this.

Other was moorth ruins pothead guy southeast of grace. He's protected by those jumping chakra guys.

Maybe it’s just me, but this video is hopping around to locations and not clearly targeting where it is or showing you how to get there on all of these locations. So it’s kind of helpful.
At level 17, I just have no idea where to look and even if I used this map, I would just end up in places where I have collected them prior. Dumb ol’ me should have had marked those spots. Oh well, Radahn was still doable solo.

I was on lvl 17 and now am 18. Will probably try and get to 20 to help with the final boss. He's a beast and doing it with no summons or help is hard.

Thank you for the vid, I’m glad I did pretty decent before having to come here. My advice is to start at the top of the list in this vid and work your way down instead of from the start and avoid the ones by cross since you most likely have them
So if anybody is missing some and you've checked everywhere and still can't find them, sit down at a grace and check your storage. I searched every spot at least 5 times and couldn't find my last one and sure enough it was in there

For fragment 30 it says Recluses' River Upstream but I think you start at the Downstream one.
I encountered numerous game crashes while trying to collect these Scadutree fragments. It's very frustrating. I hope the developers consider making a more user-friendly version of the game.
I only have one left to get and even with the video it's still rough I can't remember where I've been literally been looking for it this hole week

Just killed Messmer with 7 blessings, should have looked this guide up earlier and saved me some deaths.
I think the shadowpot drop in the ancient ruins o rauh glitched for me. The enemy despawn before killing him and after that it hasnt drop the scadutree
The only problem with this system is that there is the exact number of fragments you need to get to 20. There should be many spare ones, so you can get to max while missing some. It's not logical that they ask you to follow a guide if you want to find them all. Kind of like how they did with the golden seeds.
For those who are missing one there is a glitch where the church of consolation only gives one instead of two ( at least that’s what happened to me)

If I accidentally didn't pick up an enemy's fragment with the jar, did I lose the fragment forever
I had no idea the enemies with the pots dropped the fragments. Those were all the ones I was missing lmao

would help if your HUD was on so we can see your compass to help guide us better directionally. i get that its not as aesthetically pleasing compared to HUD of for the viewer, just something to consider

I missed cerulean coast west, recluser rivers and Belurat tower secret room
Great guide but you could stand to show the bonfire for a few seconds like @20:30 cause sometimes I had to pause to even see where you're spawning.
I arrived finished the dlc blind and missed only 32 and 24 so if you finished the dlc check if you missed these 2 too

So i followed this guide from start to finish and even backtrack from last to first but for ssome reason i still missing one fragment.
