I just very recently purchased a Staccato P. I'm so glad I did. This firearm is insanely accurate. It shoots bullseye after bullseye. It took me several months to decide whether I wanted to purchase it. The price tag is what got me. But, I took a leap of faith and it's awesome. I highly recommend it.
"why I waited so long?" Same reason that everyone else waited. Money.
....You might sleep on the couch for a week or two... But in the end... You're gonna have a 2011! HAHA! LOVE IT!
Worth every back breaking night on that couch 😅
@@715Tactical Might have to take you up on that after I receive the new pistol I just bought! Cz Shadow 2 with A-tec Suppressor :-D
Hahahahaha i told my wife this excuse for my mk23, give me an excuse for this!
Youll be on the couch with a 2011 tho 🤣
I just got mine today!! Im about to break it in!! Im excited!! Sleeping on the couch for 2 weeks but I got a Staccato C2!!! Boom!!!
Honestly you have sold me on this more than any other 20-30 minute video. Thanks for the input and advice, in my case.
well.... did you get it?? lol
Phenomenal review. I ordered mine last week, and was told 45 days. Much more than I wanted to spend, but I know in the end, I won’t regret my decision. Your review confirmed that!! Thank you-
Thank you and enjoy your new pew!
This is hands down my FAV P review on UA-cam. Hands down. Superb job.
Thank you man 👌
You are gonna love your C2..mine is my EDC. I’m doing some work to mine now and turning into a C2X. I’m putting a Dark Side Precision Full size gen1 grip on it, putting in an Atlas Flat Red trigger in it, and the upper is off at Monsoon Tactical getting chunk ported and a dark ceracoat that looks like black nitride.
I have a Staccato XC and I love it to death! People always think it’s overpriced until they shoot it. Then they change their tune real quick.
Still yet to shoot one!
EDC the XC?
That's very true! My XC is easily my favorite pistol. Have 4 STI/Staccato's. Hoping they will make a carry comp again, otherwise I'm getting the new Staccato P for carry.
Your wife's smile said everything. I love mine!
Ear to ear man!
Him- “honey I’m so glad you love shooting that 2011 and can you believe it was only $500 bucks!?”
Amazing review and what a gun! I'm going to get one soon it's just to good, by the way I love the stipple job you had done!
Thank you man 🤙
Have to add in that with the DPO models they are cheaper than the duo models list price. So they lost the factory optic plate option but we save enough to cover whichever plate we choose to use. Factory grip is a bit of a let down for the price though. Overall been happy with mine, wife had put it on layaway because I couldn’t justify the price lol.
What do you mean we whatever plate we want to use? Are you referring to paying for an aftermarket milling job?
@ fmxmyway
For the DPO models Staccato stopped providing the optic plate from Dawson Precision with the gun. So compared to the DUO models the end user has to purchase the optic plate should they chose to use anything other than the Delta Point, being that’s the only one that fits directly to the slide from the factory. So one could either purchase the Dawson plate or one from C&H. The following I believe either offer a plate and or provide the optic cut to a non optic model slide.
-Vulcan machine works
-Monsoon Tactical
-Chambers Customs
-DSCgunworks
-There’s probably some others I’m forgetting or don’t know of.
When they tell you to purchase hard assets...😎
$2,400 + optic is absurd af! 💯
Go be poor somewhere else.
Best 2500 I've spent in a while. I got the threaded barrel version...👍 cheers
I really wish I would have went that route. I have my cans now and I'm like whyyy 🤦♂️
your going to get the C2 and your going to have a big issue. choosing which one you like the best....my favorite is the XC
Yeah why did you wait? ( Lol ). I have that in 9mm and 45acp. They're awesome. Ruger Rich
Waiting on my C2 DUO brother that I ordered on Sept. 3. Cant wait.
I want it in 45acp🙏
I have a C DPO daily carry, and a 19 4.15 P DPO unicorn and they are the best things I own. The P is insane. It wants to keep going lol. Think it will be my winter carry now.
Isn’t the Staccato p 4.1 dpo the one the FBI adopted, and from what I have heard that it’s basically the C2 variant
@@Chris09978 no, C2 and P are diffrent models. C2 is a 3.9, the P has changed over the years, from its first year being a 4.15, the next year changing to 4.4, then finally a 4.45 to what it is now. It also has a full size grip, while the C2 has a shorter grip.
@@true2the_322 ah I see so that means the one the FBI adopted was like the first generation of the P
Kinda wish they had a 5 inch, I got the older STI tactical 5.0 2011 and love it
I’ve already invested in my DR920! This is going to happen though, it’s inevitable, I shouldn’t fight it.
I wish they would stop changing the dang grip texture! I bought a 2020 Staccato P DUO last year - the 2019 & 2021 grips look and I bet feel better.
I wish they'd go back to the tree bark. But they had to trim production time and sacrificed their grips. :-(
Great video. Thank you for the review. It's easy to watch.
Before buying her a $2k+ pistol, buy her a pair of safety glasses, especially when you are shooting against steel. 7:00
🤣 exactly
100 percent. And you know she wasn't too far from it either. Regardless, I've had more than enough splatter break my skin to know that shooting steel without eye pro is a terrible idea.
Seriously Staccato's are joy to shoot. It wants to run fast and can put a serious dent in your ammo supply!
Loved the video. Please clean your light..😂
Yes sir, im buying one.
Excellent and honest video. Would you recommend the P or C2 for home defense?
I sure Love mine. I had an RMR on it, but move it to my Sig P320. I now have a Holosun 509T riding a top my Staccato P Duo. Did I say how much I love it?
Doesn't gunbroker have it readily available instead of waiting for 120 days from staccato?
Lots of dealers have them in stock.
Good job dude, get an XC💪🏻
Beautiful gun I have the P, C2, and ordered the XC. Which RMR are you running and a year after this video are you still loving the P?
Have u ever ran their aluminum frame staccato p?
Love the video bro
Badass review bro!!!
Thanks for sharing I literally just got a C2 DPO I love it but like you said it's very thick... do you find the grip reduction was noticeable because that right now is my only complaint with the pistol it's very thick... I have medium to large hands and I find myself getting fatigued quicker than when I shoot my shadow systems or whatever.
Hello may I ask which optic plate you went with for the P?
With modern handguns who needs a rifle
great video man just found your channel.
Have you had any issue with the screws backing out on the plate? I have a trijicon SRO on my Staccato P DPO that I just received in February of 2022. With that being said I have put about 800 rounds through my pistol so far and I love the gun. However, I have noticed that the screws are backing out and causing the plate to get loose. This has happen to me twice is anyone else having this issue? FYI: I did degrease prior to adding VC3 and I torqued my screws down to 23 inch pounds.
Good video daddy. I loved the review.
Nice!just got a c2 dpo
Great vid
I don't care about sleeping in the couch as long I can still get the honey whole
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😂😂😂
Law enforcement and military get 3 free mags and the red dot mount of their choice.
If we’re talking duty grade single action 9mm handguns, especially in that price range, I don’t see why CZ isn’t a part of that conversation. Especially seeing as they’ll run almost indefinitely, don’t require the same maintenance as the Staccato, and are usually around $600 less than this model (comparing to a TS Orange).
What about larger hands but slim fingers?
Is that a thing?
Is this worth getting over a Gucci Glock? Like shadow systems
Where did you get the holster for the P?
Civilian Tac Holsters
How long did it take you to get?
Did you purchase direct from Staccato?
This is like s hi capa 5.1 airsoft gun
🔥🔥🔥
Great
Have you appendix carried the P? If so how is it?
I’ve been carrying mine appendix for over a year and I love it. With the right holster it disappears for me (6’2, 165lbs). My suggestion is LAS concealment saya 2.0
Sleep on the couch for a week..shit I'd be sleeping in my car for a month.
Honestly I rather invest the $2400, before I buy Glock and customize the shit out of my pocket^^
wowww❤❤
The carry case is low budget
Wife can’t be mad if I don’t have a wife.
PAID REVIEW
He probably waited so long because that gun cost as much as 7 or 8 of my truck payments put together and I'm sorry but no damn gun is worth that much money unless your rich and money doesn't mean nothing to you !!!
Save your self a heavy ass gun you're never gonna carry and buy 4 glocks in 4 different flavors instead that u can literally carry while you're asleep and forget its there. Like said, its a duty gun. Not an average range joe or a daily carry for an average person. Its bulky, its heavy and it will sit it you desk/ safe or what ever place more often then your belt.
😂😂
LOL, comparing this pistol to a Glock? ROFL.
... The scary movie scene theme music ... God can we just stop doing it ? Everybody please stop with the God damn movie theme S and just get to the review.
Is this a commercial?
That was funny ask her what she thinks… that you just lost your gun is what she thinks lol
I just got a Staccato XL DPO 3 days ago! I’m taking it out this weekend!! I’m so stoked!! Watching other people shoot it makes me want to leave work and try it out!
Once you get over $1600 for a pistol, you buying it for craftsmanship. Alot of people will say no, you paying for performance too, no, you can upgrade a glock or buy a shadow system for $900-$1100 and improve accuracy from 40%-90%, ive done it plus, you have to practice, practice to get better at shooting. These 2011s are bought for craftsmanship, thats why they not for everybody. They are the cream of the crop though.
Just for the record, im not knocking this video or others like it, but we in the gun community have to watch how we present things. You have first time gun people that will buy this pistol thinking it will make them john wick over night and thats not the case. Great video, keep doing what your doing.
Paid for my P OR yesterday, picking it up at my local ffl in two days. Big thanks to the outpost armory for being a premier staccato dealer.
Lost me at optic plate. For 2,400 (if it’s that low) I shouldn’t have to purchase a optic plate lol. Ridiculous at that point.
Seems cheap to me
It wouldn't be the only gun you need to purchase an adapter plate for... you need one for plenty of other guns. If you think it needs one for the price, maybe you don't really know what goes into making one.
This review has me pumped for the Staccato P with RMR I’m picking up on Friday.
I picked up the limited p dpo and loving it. Great review.
Great video. I edc a Beretta 92X Performance and a have been carrying it every day for almost two years. It actually weights more than the Staccato XL. I recently purchased the XL in tuxedo chrome and will carry that too. Thanks for the info.
You’ll have to tell me how your experience in carrying the XL goes. Been torn between the P and XC.
@@tjordan4436 I sure will. As far as Staccato goes you can’t go wrong with either. 😉👍🏾
I'm grabbing my P soon. Gonna use it for EDC instead of the C2
That what I did !!
Can y’all explain your thought process?
@@GunsandButterTV why? I’m debating between the two. I’d like to know your thoughts.
The sro and rmr plate was at 199.95 at dawson precision. I guess they change that price
It was $140 at staccato this spring when I bought one.
I just bought one last week... $249
THIS GUN FUCKS!!!!
My duty weapon and I love it!
That's one of my dream guns maybe 1 day
Great pick up. New to your channel. What kind of stippling pattern is that? I was looking to do the same for my C2
That is Rocket City Stippling micro burst 🤙
this or the c2 dpo is definately one of the guns i would love to have. i am a poor & probably will never have either one. congrats on getting both of them.
I’m glad I have the staccato p and c2, love them both but nothing shoots like a Staccato P.
Steel or aluminum?
What baseplate is the mag in the cover of your video?
45ACP please
AWESOME 🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫
Torn between the RMR and 509T
First
he said duty
Solid review Bro! Been looking at one of these for a min now. I need to jus bite the bullet and pick one up.
#RobbArmstrong
I have a P with the factory grip. Put Talon sandpaper grip wrap on it. Makes it much better to shoot. Just bought a P comp. with the factory tac grip texture and it is an improvement.
Also bought a stippiling kit online. Have tried on a few cheap pistols (SCCY) and really like how they turned out. Just waiting to get the courage to try it on a $2500 pistol.
Do the factory sights co witness with the rmr?
If you buy an Staccato P do not shoot an Atlas Athena or you will have buyer's remorse. I purchased an Athena and sold the P and never looked back! The Athena is just better at everything including aesthetics...buy once cry once!
When I heard rocket city I knew it was actually close to me instead of 20 states away! Hello from Alabama! Just got my P DPO DLC last weekend!
Why the grip safety and a manual safety? Wouldn't one be sufficient? I know you have the C2, but would you ever use the P as your everyday carry?
Any new buyers just revealing in their purchase watching review by people you've never heard of after their first day at the range? Also great review though I'm glad I found this channel
Great review and I'm with you on the trijicon. By the way that mounting plate is now $159. bucks.
picked up a P DPO threaded barrel saturday. just waiting for the damn phone call to go get her! oh shit the anticipation is killing me!
You're awesome, homie. Awesome.
I always wondered if they would make a 9mm version of the 1911 they don’t need too, this bad boy came out.
