There are good, bad, and neutral kings. The Coward is neutral. Your residents don't care if you help him or not. Hope that clears up the confusion. I forgot to comment when I watched, but remembered as I am watching your let's play. For folks who may tune in later... There is a list on the wiki.
Wait coward is neutral? I do think they removed the negative mood from a negative king though. I was testing it in another video and think I had "the cruel" or something and didn't get negative. Lol hard to keep up with updates sometimes!
@@7CGames Yep, coward is neutral. Their choices are odd to me. Lion, great, and strong are also listed as neutral. Go figure... I have a bad king this playthrough, but I am not gonna risk upsetting my folks so I will take your word for it. I agree with you on the updates. I have not played in months and am way behind. That is how I found you.
@@7CGames So says the wiki. I'll just list for future viewers since YT doesn't like links. Good: merciful, builder, beloved, wise, caring, and fair Neutral: great, strong, lion, lazy, and coward Bad: dangerous, greedy, warlike, mad, cruel, and aggressive Really enjoying the Let's Play. I won't comment yet until I'm caught up. But, I just keep laughing, "What are you doing you foolish man?" lol I knew you'd be having some struggles with food for sure. That is what makes it fun though. As well as helping new players learn. You are creating some really nice content.
@@terrabeh Oh man this video is definitely gonna need an update then! Thank you so much! Yeah my "hard mode" play through had some serious money and food issues but I think we're ok now lol.
Yeah and the tax reduction can really help! Although doing stuff for a "bad" king makes your people not really happy with you gotta pay attention to the kings suffix.
I had a herald quest i did not do for roleplaying reason and effects (the king was named the cruel and if i did do the quest my villagers would lose 15% of their mood ) and as a result i ended up with slightly higher taxes and he shot one of my villager during a hunting 'accident' haha the villager lost 20% productivity for a year we did get 200 coins for 'compensation' 🤦
HAHA the between season events are RNG but man you got some hilarious RNG on that one LOL! Yeah sucks that you have to wait for a bad king to die and the only way to accelerate the process is to deliberately fail quests (leading to more taxes).
@kckreations that's actually a good question. My gut wants to assume they can unfortunately I've only spent 3 years in the oxbow and I haven't seen one yet. I'm gonna have to do further testing.
@@7CGames yeah I've mostly been on the oxbow and I have alot of hours in game an yet I haven't seen one. But in saying that I haven't actively looked either. I have finished all quests tho.
The plot twist at 7:15. Chef's kiss.
HAHA automation for the win!
Thanks for this very well done explanation. After sorting a number of other guesses/conjectures it was great to find your video!
oh thank you so much! Glad it helped!
Hey thanks for all the vids can you make a guide on farming in this game as well?
Gonna try to get one soon hopefully tomorrow.

@@terrabeh Wait the great is neutral?? Man I try to pride myself on all the little subtle parts of the update but this king one slipped past me.

Very interesting thank you
Oh thanks again!
Yo low key. I had no idea about the tax reduction or morale one. I just saw the dynasty points and was like I need that

Do these heralds appear in the oxbow also?

Yeah I was trying to just burn time but after 4 years I was starting to think it didn't happen lol
@@kckreations update now they do very slowly but they do
