    I usually take the bottom plate off of my lamp and put it in the edge of the table and cure it that way. Helps with the extra hand problem.

    I found a iPhone clamp on Amazon that was small enough to hold a led flashlight, so now I turn it on before I start applying the nails and just put my nail under once I’ve applied the nail. Saves so much time!

    • @Oliviab23
      @Oliviab23 4 роки тому +2

      tmcdgreen I used to prop my light with a book and angle it out. I’m surprised so many people didn’t think to rig the light up in some way so they have both hands available. It’s a simple fix. I just bought a lamp with a removable bottom and sensors that turn on when you put your hand under and I turn it on it’s side and that works even better!

  • @angelalowe5747

    There is a lamp that you can attach to your table that hangs like a light, and has a foot control to turn it off and on which helps a lot. Another thing I saw on Apres is they tape the light on the box by the cord, overhanging very easy . Also you can use primer to prep the under side, much easier. Good job though.

    I have a question, are these nails just as strong as acrylics? Or do they fall off easier...

    I bought the dope of this system and it failed. 30 minutes after I had completed both hands they popped off. I was washing my hands when it happened. I think I can only use acrylic.

    What process would you use to remove these? I watched there video on them and was intrigued to save time from using an acrylic system

      Since no one has responded, maybe I can help! For removal, I file off the top shine. Then wrap my nails in a cotton ball soaked in acetone with aluminum foil for 15-20 minutes and then remove the foils and scrape what is loose. Keep re-wrapping nails until all product is loose and able to be scraped off. You don’t want to be rough.

      Are you using the builder gel as the "glue"? I was curious of using mine to glue them and then possibly a layer after for a bit more strength as I'm a carpenter by trade, very hard on my hands and nails. Builder gel is usually my go to for sculpting, but it's just so time consuming to really sculpt a nail with it.
