Good vid, fellas. But that lock button shroud will pop right out with a flathead, and the doorhandle on most has a bolt behind it to remove for door panel removal. Not trying to be a smartass- just trying to help. I'm workin on the same thing today. If you take those 2 things off first- it goes WAY smoother.

Love you guys, my driver side window has to be off the track my big old boy slams door , believe that what happened, hon I want I got to need fix it , all the way down ,forget I to it .. know got to take panel off get to it, , the handle he must try to roll it probably backwards makes clicking sound, if just. Hey I to it raise window I'll out screws to hold it all up permanently , so frustrating finally got something drive and ruff on cars , do you have any suggestions to help me , again thanks God bless

Great video I'm having same issue with passenger door power window . What type of glue or sealer did you use . Even if I were to buy a new window regulator it sont come with the window clips .
“Mr. Dodge, I’m mad at cha” LOL there is a 10mm bolt holding that handle in there you need to remove first to get the panel over it once the handle is removed
@@TheHomeownersHandymen The nightmare is finally over though, thankfully. It looked like my driver side door might've been locked shut for good... the outside handle and keyhole didn't work, the key fob didn't work, and the inside handle and lock didn't work. I ripped off the outside lining to the window and tried poking a metal wire down into the holes of the casing of the latch, trying to either hit the little lever to open the door, or "push down" the attachments connected to the bar connected to the door handle so they would get out of the way so the lock lever could be moved into the unlock position and in alignment with the door handle bar (I had already been in there to look at everything and thought I had it fixed). Then after taking apart the other door I realized the thing needed to be pulled up, not down. So I went back to the door and was successfully able to pull that attachment up, moving it out of the way so the lock lever could move into the unlock position, and finally was able to unlock the door. The problem turned out to be a spring inside the latch having detached, the spring that pulls that secondary attachment out of the way when the door handle is at rest. Then of course more things went wrong. Like the spring adding tension to the outside door handle fell off as well, which had to be figured out. Then attaching the window back onto the door panel was nightmarish, although it seems like it could be easier now. At first I just balanced it on a peg inside without attaching it to the door panel. Now I have respect for the manual labor of a mechanic! This took forever, including multiple trips to Lowes to get the right ratchet extension and two different sockets.
i just bought my 1st car and was rolling down the windows to make sure they work the two on the drivers side dont work and the passenger side came off the track but not too bad for 800$ and ima do the repairs myself

There’s a torque score holding the handle on, removing the screw removes the handle making it easier to remove the panel

Take the door handle off and the panel will pop right off
Yes but not as fun as ripping it off ,
There is a T-40 screw on the handle if you lift up on the handle you can get to it and remove the handle. Them.easily remove the door panel. 👍
