The BEST Place to Snorkel in Moorea, French Polynesia

  • We needed a day of snorkeling and relaxation and that's exactly what we got out. We were so amazed to find our favorite snorkel spot was on the property of our beautiful hotel. When we booked this hotel, we did not know we could jump off the dock into a world of color and life below. This is truly one of the best places we've ever stayed because of the snorkeling we were able to do so close to our room.
We decided to snorkel in two different locations. The first was by the beach which was only 20 steps from our hotel room. This was where we were able to swim with a parrot fish for the first time. The fish's beauty is unmatched with its bright rainbow pattern standing out from all the other wildlife. We also jumped off of the dock that is connected to our hotel's restaurant. This unlocked a whole new world of fish that we may have missed if we didn't jump in. The angel fish and the bright orange fish were our favorites even though we enjoyed all of the fun swimming creatures. This was a day we will not forget!

After visiting Costa Rica and French Polynesia, we realized the time was right to quit our jobs and travel full time. In late 2021, we left everything to become full time travel vloggers and we've loved every minute of it. Our goal is to make it to all seven continents and visit many countries as possible. We hope you will follow along on our journey and that we can inspire you to travel in your own country or around the world!

We love having lunch at Hotel Kaveka and enjoying the view of Cook's Bay and all the fish below. :) We've never stayed at the hotel due to mixed reviews, though. What kind of room did you stay in and how was it?

Please don’t feed human food (or any food) to fish or any other wildlife. This is really bad form guys

How is the food out there, or do you only eat American food? I love snorkeling! I wish I was there.

The food was pretty good, just very very expensive. It is a mix of Asian food and French food. The baguettes are really good and the noodle dishes. We wish we were there snorkeling as well! It is so wonderful :)

@@JacobandJennyTravel I’ve been following others in this region, and I got glimpses of menus and the portions are small and the price is big. I guess I would be eating burgers too! Who cares tho when you have those amazing snorkeling experiences and the beauty. Wow! This will be my weight loss vacation.
