I hate this thermostat. It's 34C outside right now and I have it set to cold but it's sitting at 83F. I will die of heat exhaustion soon. Loved the old ones. Just turn the dial to the temp you wanted
Press HOLD to permanently adjust the temperature. This will override the temperature settings for all time periods. The “Hold” feature turns off the program schedule and allows you to adjust the thermostat manually, as needed. Whatever temperature you set will be maintained 24 hours a day, until you manually change it, or press RUN to cancel “Hold” and resume the program schedule. Note: Make sure the thermostat is set to the system you want to control (heat or cool)” so if you wanna do it manual and forget your schedule, switch with the arrows n press “hold”for a second or two
This is the worst design I have ever seen. How stupid this person gotta be may us wonder right? Ppl must come home by a default time, and leaving on the same time, also they have to search online for days to find a manual to only read it. And sometimes it locked on 28cels and no matter which button people press, it’s the same. Why choose this career?

I am a very firm believer in set it and forget it. Changing the temp up and down really uses more energy as it takes along time to get the house back up to temp once you run it down.

Thanks for the help. I definitely wasn’t going to program each day. But that hold button is a pretty good idea to override the whole system. The way my apartment came programmed with this in the ac is way too cold and draws way too much power and energy monthly. This will be helpful.
I'm still having trouble setting my thermostat mine looks like it might be older my left side buttons are small I programed my heat setting just like you said and no heat is coming on it's really cold in my apt but my son doesn't like to be hot he will seat and wake up crying so I need a comfortable setting for both of us
Finally found the video to confirm my programming setting. After I run the setting, the time of day(wake, leave, return, sleep) appears but AC temperature does not go down to my temperature that I saved in the program. Either my mistake, or AC not working correctly, or my house doesn't have good insulation..

He already told you, just use the HOLD button to override it forever. That's how I am using it now, i'll turn it on when I need it, and turn it off when I need it. Put whatever tem u want then press hold.
Is there a way to do a factory reset on this thermostat? It seems to go crazy regularly and I'd like to reset it but taking the batteries out (even for 30 minutes) didn't help.

I know you mean well but it's not really helping me first of all I have a schedule where I'm in and out and in and out and would just like to be able to turn my heat up or down the old-fashioned way. I try hitting it up so I can warm it up higher when I'm at home and it doesn't move it has nothing to do with batteries I am wondering do you think my thermostat is broke. The one i have i have to put it on auto in order to turn it off if not it will continue to run i had to hit the switch sometimes so i can control it.

On Auto Mode it isnt running, int his case the heat. But if I turn the auto switch to fan, thats why it runs but continuously. What is the issue?
