I received a tract once by someone I didn’t know. I was headed to a mental hospital. 3 day’s later I went into my bedroom and asked Jesus if he was real. Asked to forgive my sins. Believed he shed his blood on a cross for me. In the corner of my ceiling a huge ball of light came into the bedroom. It came over me. I left a new creature in Christ. Pure love and peace came into me. I wanted a Bible. I started going to church. My Savior saved me from hell and myself that day. In 1975. Hallelujah Jesus! Pure love I felt that day ! ❤️

For historical context it was the Amalekites that violently *ATTACKED THE JEWS* as they fled slavery from Egypt, which included killing women and children who had been walking miles through the desert. This was the reason a violent counter-attack was sanctioned. Many ancient tribes were also not VERY POPULATED as they are today. This was the only incident, outside of the tribes of Nephilim, that humans were destroyed. The other tribes like the Amorites had Nephilim within their tribes. Nephilim were mixtures of humans and angels. These so-called genocides were carried out for specific reasons.
So basically Jesse has no problem seeing a child suffer.

@Meme Patrol, it’s ironic though bc we can take scripture and twist it to look like whatever we want it to look like. For example him quoting about God saying to kill all the Amalekites in 1 Samuel, If you read that whole story you later see why God commanded them to do it. Ironically king Saul didn’t do it and ended up paying for it by the Amalekites own hands. See God knows things man doesn’t, which is why he’s God and we are not. The problem comes when we try to take His place.

And if the Bible is really true, then we should conform to it, regardless of what we think we know about morality, right and wrong, or anything else. And the Bible speaks to this too. Proverbs 14:12 says 'there's a way that seems right to a man, its end is death.'. In other words, when we start to rebel against God and begin to think we know more instead of fully trusting in Him, we fall away, which is the worst thing that could happen to us. Trust me man, I fall away too, I fail too, I stumble and struggle too! But He ALWAYS brings me back and I'm truly grateful for that, because I honestly don't deserve anything good. Man really is evil, and our problem is we honestly believe we're pretty much 'good'. God alone is good, that's what Jesus said. So if He really is good, what does that say about us when we act like we're more 'moral' than he is? Hopefully that makes sense.

This is a very good way to phrase it man, I know a lot of the guests don’t actually believe what they say when they beat around the bush
cause not everything can be answered by a yes and no answer. He always goes with the false dichotomy. Some things need further explanation. If he asks "Do you hate black people" and you answer, "I hate some black people", he's just going to repeat the question only accepting yes or no answers. It's not about instillig conviction, it's about putting words in people's mouths.

I grew up a believer; even studied and prepared myself to be an evangelist. It was only until I began to take my faith seriously enough to die for it, that I began to study my Bible and could no longer rationalize the primitive logic therein.

I had the pleasure of being a guest on David’s show recently (as a Christian). I think Jesse got to the heart of why he’s an atheist...his relationship w/ his dad. Great interview guys, I really enjoyed watching.
BMore not even sure why you’re coming at me like that but 1st of all what evidence did David provide that Jesse ignored? Certainly Jesse jumped to other questions, and as I said before, I think he did a good job getting to the core issue w/ David. You’re all caught up in winning and losing debates, but true Christians are trying to show ppl like you the truth of God. And you can hide behind ‘no evidence’ if you’d like, but the Bible is incredible evidence that you’ll just say “isn’t evidence”, even though the facts of the Bible are absolutely astounding.
BMore my friend, I’m guessing you’re trusting in atheists who either mislead or are ignorant themselves to the evidence that backs the Bible up. To make a claim that the major Bible characters are simply ‘not real’, you’d have to prove your claims pretty substantially.

Some interesting points that you seem to be overlooking though:
1. If these men were just trying to craft some story of a Savior, they wouldn’t have said He died on a criminals cross, which was reserved for only the most corrupt criminals. Logically that doesn’t make sense.
2. People are willing to believe in Plato and Socrates, but they have FAR less evidence to back up their existence than that of the Bible...why do you think that is?
3. The Bible is a collection of 66 books, written by over 40 authors, by different people (doctors, peasants, Kong’s, philosophers, etc) during different times (war, peace, famine, plenty) on 3 separate continents, in 3 different languages all w/ ONE singular storyline...all pointing to Jesus Christ. Now if it was about anything other than that we’d except it w/o a problem...and it’s bc quite frankly people hate God.

The bible talks about dark watchers or shadow people and I've seen one with my own eyes. If it wasn't for that sobering experience I probably would be on the fence like this guy. It's the one time im actually thankful I saw true darkness revealed because I'm a Christian now. As far as suffering goes it also brought me closer to God.

They are way more powerful and intelligent they haven't been sentenced yet so they inhabit the earths sky's and ground and are referred to as aliens in today's society the shadow people or demons simply want your seed for more offspring and if you have a sex dream that is a forsure sign of a visit prayer before sleep and clearing your head of impure thoughts is the answer to not have an encounter if you see them fallen angel or demon call upon the name of the lord Jesus Christ . When used not in vain but with reverence, they both flee.

I really love enjoyed this video. I was an atheist for the longest time in a Christian home, and when I started to study The Bible to debate it was to debate a Christian named Alex. The more I started looking at the history, Jewish prophesies, artifacts, tablets and witnesses in The Bible -- the more I found evidence for it. I realized as an atheist I completely didn't not understand the whole point of why women must be silent in church (this referred to pagana that were not taught in the faith). Why should women marry their rapist ( because in Jewish traditions if a women was no longer a virgin she was shunned by society, could not work, and could not be educated). I realized The God of The Bible was actually (not religious at all). I found out the majority of slaves back then volunteered to be slaves due to debts they owed, were fed, and some even inherited wealth many fail to understand you went to prison, was killed or became a slave those were the only options back then to pay a debt owed). The slavery of those days were not based on race either. The more I read The Bible, the more I realized how anti - Jesus the world really was especially my (professors). I appreciate you bringing someone on that has opposing because it comes from a very sincere place, allows perspectives to be exchanged. Thanks!

The slavery laws god made in the bible were based off of racism. The qualification was that if you were not a jew you could be bought and sold and kept "forever" because they are your property/possession and you could even hand them down to your children as an inheritance...
But if you were a jew slave you would eventually be freed as long as you didn't marry another slave.

However, if you do not follow Christ or believe in his teachings, I do not recommend getting baptized. Simply participating in the tradition of baptism will not save you. To be saved, you must accept Christ and turn away from your sins. If you are unsure of what that entails, then you have not been saved. This is a common misconception, even among those who identify as Christians.
To elaborate further, it is not enough to merely understand the words of the Bible; you must wholeheartedly believe them to be true. It must be the truth, and any opposing views are not the truth. Ultimately, for those seeking the truth, it will lead to Christ, regardless of where they begin. I have witnessed this phenomenon countless times in individuals searching for answers. This searching doesn't happen over night either. Some people will spend half their life seeking truth, and in the end they will find Christ on the cross.
In summary, do not get baptized if you do not truly believe or comprehend its significance. Doing so would be a waste of everyone's time, including your own. To become a believer, one must first acquire knowledge of God through diligent study.
Side Note: The atheist featured in the video clearly lacks the necessary knowledge and understanding of scripture. Those of us who believe in God and have studied diligently can easily identify the flaws in his arguments. It is clear that he does not comprehend exegesis or hermeneutics. Now, some may argue that one needs to be a genius to understand the Bible, but that is not true. However, it does require dedicated study.
As the scripture says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children."

Before I even watch this. I agree 100%... If you are a believer in a Holy Book, especially the Bible. Read it in its entirety. That’s what unlocked the truth for me. Most people believe a book they’ve never even read themselves.

This is what happens when you read the Bible only in today's context/understanding. Its one thing to read the Bible. It's another thing to understand it. I could read a manual or book on any subject, but if I don't understand the context or the vocabulary used, it will be difficult to use that information to succeed.
Also important to look up the original languages the Bible was written in

I became an atheist in a similar fashion. I grew up as a fundamentalist Christian, but when I really started studying the bible it all came crumbling down. It was a little scary at first, and I was grasping for any shred of evidence to reinforce my beliefs, but now I'm so much happier and at peace.
The Rebel's Advocate I'm the opposite, never went to church as I get older I have a stronger belief in God. I think many people fall off because they think God is there to prevent bad things, everything from a natural disaster to a robbery.
