Yeah, it's honestly becoming crazy - it could be a guy you didn't respond to, or even a guy you didn't respond to quickly enough found a dumb reason to complain about you, because they rarely even look into complaints to verify them. It's becoming a bit of a crazy system.

If you paid for the service, didn't do anything wrong and Tinder won't restore your account, report the transaction to your bank as fraud immediately. It's illegal to charge for a service and not provide it. Some would call it theft.

The problem is that people can report you simply because they don't like you. The TOS doesn't matter. If you delete your account and make a new one, the people you rejected and maybe blocked on your old profile can report you out of spite and get you banned. Tinder is completely unreasonable on this, they should really stick to their actual TOS and be a more tolerant and open space. We should be able to be honestly represent ourselves on our profiles without fear of getting reported.

Can you please do a 2019 video on how Tinder keeps track of resets (phone number, email, IP address, ect)? I know for an absolute fact that Bumble uses facial recognition technology but Tinder doesn’t seem to be as sophisticated. I was banned in November. I tried my account in January and was allowed back on though I was put at the very bottom of the stack and had to work my way up to the normal population (people I see on Bumble). A few weeks later I can only get passive matches but I think that’s because they want me to upgrade.
It's because they are too concerned about legal/reputation issue from bad behaviour but too lazy/tight fisted to invest money in moderating so they make bots automatically ban anybody for life who gets reported a few times even if it means losing a few safe customers. it sucks and for the amount of money they charge it's unjustifiable but it's their company nothing you can do, just make a new profile with fresh details/phone number/pictures. support will not listen they will just read the first sentence and copy/paste a reply telling you to fuck off.

Happened to me as well. I wanted a pause foe 2-3 weeks so I have removed all my photos and replaced with one of some meal I have cooked. I got banned and as I have emailed them I got no specific reason, just that I have violated their terms of is "in some way". I can understand that it is enough for 10-15 people to report you just because they don't like your face in the end. I have never offended anyone, if some lady pissed me off I would just remove her instantly. That's all. The worst thing is that the ban is for life as I have understood, not for one month ore so. Being punished without knowing the reason. Very unfair

So approach either google store or apple store (whichever one you paid tiinder through) and tell them you've paid but aren't receiving the services - they have to honor their terms of service and refund you.
They need to set the terms and conditions of use and why and when accounts would be given warnings or blocked or cancelled. It be interesting to learn of all the reasons Tinder has for shadow banning accounts. They treat subscribers badly and then allow advertising for hookers etc...so oxymoronic, so twisted....so weird a world we live in these days.

If you delete your account and make a new one, the people you rejected and maybe blocked on your old profile can report you out of spite and get you banned. Tinder is completely unreasonable on this, they should really stick to their actual TOS and be a more tolerant and open space. We should be able to be honestly represent ourselves on our profiles without fear of getting reported.

Can you please do a 2019 video on how Tinder keeps track of resets (phone number, email, IP address, ect)? I know for an absolute fact that Bumble uses facial recognition technology but Tinder doesn’t seem to be as sophisticated.
I was banned in November. I tried my account in January and was allowed back on though I was put at the very bottom of the stack and had to work my way up to the normal population (people I see on Bumble). A few weeks later I can only get passive matches but I think that’s because they want me to upgrade.
I just got banned. The fact you don’t know what you did and no appeal process and your banned for life is terrible.
It's because they are too concerned about legal/reputation issue from bad behaviour but too lazy/tight fisted to invest money in moderating so they make bots automatically ban anybody for life who gets reported a few times even if it means losing a few safe customers. it sucks and for the amount of money they charge it's unjustifiable but it's their company nothing you can do, just make a new profile with fresh details/phone number/pictures. support will not listen they will just read the first sentence and copy/paste a reply telling you to fuck off.

This has gotten crazy I got banned and didn’t have a single bad thing or violation on there. Literally had pictures of me and my two kids. Seriously the only thing I said that could even barley be considered touchy is at the end of my bio I said, “ your pretty, but are you kind, smart or funny?” Like wtf kind of sexist crap is that if that’s what it was. Happened to me as well. I wanted a pause foe 2-3 weeks so I have removed all my photos and replaced with one of some meal I have cooked. I got banned and as I have emailed them I got no specific reason, just that I have violated their terms of is "in some way". I can understand that it is enough for 10-15 people to report you just because they don't like your face in the end. I have never offended anyone, if some lady pissed me off I would just remove her instantly. That's all. The worst thing is that the ban is for life as I have understood, not for one month ore so. Being punished without knowing the reason. Very unfair

@SchoolOfAttraction I got banned for no apparent reason, the only reason that seems fitting is that I would delete my account and start it fresh. I had paid and been banned with still 2 weeks left on my pay cycle. How do you recommend complaining about this? It's a shame that Tinder is following in the same footsteps as UA-cam, FB and Insta in their over the top approach to censoring, banning or 'deplatforming' you. There doesnt seem to be any real merit to doing so for a lot of people it seems!
So approach either google store or apple store (whichever one you paid tiinder through) and tell them you've paid but aren't receiving the services - they have to honor their terms of service and refund you.

They need to set the terms and conditions of use and why and when accounts would be given warnings or blocked or cancelled. It be interesting to learn of all the reasons Tinder has for shadow banning accounts. They treat subscribers badly and then allow advertising for hookers etc...so oxymoronic, so twisted....so weird a world we live in these days.
