I love the concept and energy, hilariously it is just Obito chills out in Kamui eating snacks until the last ones are left then murders the stragglers. but I LOVE the energy! course if you do a they dont know about Pains whole mechanics thing or have to stay in the arena could be fun. Konana and Dedira keep exploding the battlefield, Orochimaru and Sasori be bitching at things, Kisame keeps drowning the entire battlefield, Itachi keeps on lighting everything on fire and doing super god armor hilarity.... the sheer utter chaos of this would be beautiful. Also Zetsu army if we fully getting into it. Hidan gets his head chopped off and keeps bitching at people about it, maby Obito walks off with it and talks to him for a while.

Hidan is VERY relevant in a battle royal. Maybe not in a 1v1 but a royal is different. With all these battles going on around him there's going to be so much blood for him to use in his rituals. He's at least dropping 2 people from the random blood spatters before everyone catches on to what's going on and ends him
Hidan’s gonna pray, then charge into the first person he sees. Depends how that member deals with him. They all know he’s immortal so it doesn’t look good, but if a member decides it’s easier to just immobilize him for now, he could get someone’s blood later

Pretty much agree with everything you guys said (tho Deidera's C4 deserved more focus IMO) but I think Konan is underestimated a lot, to go on a bit of a tangent: Not so much you guys here since you didn't talk much about her anyways, but what little we see of her in the series implies she could be sorta nuts power wise, depending on how much you wanna extrapolate from what we see her doing: People only seem to think she can form paper blades and then do her prep-time billion paper bomb attack, but there's no reason she couldn't mix in paper bombs, sealing tags, or summoning paper into her blades or other paper constructs we see her make like her butterfly swarms: it's basically the same sort of ability Deidera has (assuming she can make other animals, constructs, etc) with even more versatility since she could use sealing, summoning, etc based animal constructs instead of just explosive ones. To keep the analogies going by comparing her abilities to other characters, depending on how fast she can disassemble herself into paper, she could potentially cause attacks to phase through her sorta like a worse version of Kamui, by having parts of her body split into paper as the attacks are about to hit her; and depending on how exactly it works, the suicide attack she tries to catch Obito with and her recovering from that might imply she could re-attach parts of her body with paper sorta like Orochimaru's snake healing abilities. If nothing else, we can summerise she can at least distribute damage in a less harmful way if she splits into paper and only some of her paper pieces getting burned/destroyed instead of major parts of her body. We also see her immobilizing people with paper constructs and making that fake tree, so, again, depending on how skilled with that she is, it's possible she could make Gaara or 4th/3rd Kazekage esque shapes just with paper instead of sand to crush and swipe at people with. Being able to fly is also not to be underestimated, as it allows you to wear people down from a distance, dodge atacks, etc. Imagine a swarm of paper where some are origami cranes and butterflies and other animals that can home in or move around, and those all either have explosives tags, some have magic seals or and create formation barriers (since we've seen barriers put in place with paper tags) around areas to lock you in place, some are summoning in weapons (like Tenten or Sasuke's weapon tags) or animals or other allied fighters, and some are forming into blades or physical objects to cut or crush you with, while others are trying to wrap around you all the while Konan is hundreds of meters in the air and is basically untouchable and can phase through attacks or reconnect herself as paper if she is injured. Obviously i'm wanking her a bit and we don't know for sure she can do all of that, especially without running into concentration issues or out of Chakra but IN THEORY she might be able to. At minimum, I think she's on par with Kakazu (who while one of the weakest members in the group, I still think is pretty strong: He's hella durable even without his extra hearts, has some of the best physical strength feats outside of Sage characters, Tsunade, the Raikage, etc; and the scale of his elemental jutsu when the right elements are combined is pretty signficant) and I think at best she's up there with Sasori (hell no reason she can't poison some of her paper too) or Orochimaru or Deidera as one of the mid tier members. Might even make a good video, to go over characters like Konan we don't see fight a lot and to explain the range of ways you can scale them at minimum, or at maximum if you extrapolate what other usages of their abilities they might have
I think one of the most underrated aspects of Konan is how she is one of the only characters in the series to give any sort of challenge to orange mask Obito. Even excluding the prep, we at least need to respect the raw stats necessary to get that kind of acknowledgement from him. For example, it is easy to use that fight to say her speed scales to Minato and we can clearly see how much more damage even her non-prep bombs do compared to Minato's rasengan. Besides Obito, her only anti-feat is Jiraiya, but it was pretty clear she was never in danger in that fight and Jiraiya should know how to counter her better than almost anyone.
Specifically, she was able to take off an arm and break Obito's mask without any of her prep and if not for at least 5 Izanagi (5 minutes Kamui plus 1 minute each eye for 10 minutes of explosions), her prep would have legitimately beaten Obito, who regularly beats both Pain and Itachi in these fights.
Actually coming back to this, "there's no reason she can't poison her paper too" may not be quite right, since we saw that the paper being soaked in Toad oil interfered with her ability to control it well. So it's possible soaking it in posion may as well
Kisame and itachi would probably just avoid fighting each other rather than help each other. They don’t want to kill anymore friends. Orochimaru is getting targeted by sassori, and diedera is going for itachi. Orochimaru would know not to attack itachi head on, he’d wait for itachi to weaken. But itachi probably would target orochimaru as number 1 priority. I could see Kisame want to fight the zombie duo cause 1. He likes to fight, 2. I’m pretty sure he said something like he wanted to see how they died. Also I’m sure kakazu has heard of Kisame and his bounty from the hidden mist.
Kakuzu would literally just see everyone as a moneybag. All of these characters have likely had some form or fashion of bounty on them including Kakuzu himself.

Finally Pain/Nagato getting some well-deserved recognition for his feats. He would be especially relevant in this scenario as his ability to crowd control is basically scalable to any Rinnegan user. Nagato also has a unique feat of reviving a lot of people in one go, which indicates he is probably a top 5 character in terms of chakra pool. He would also be assisted by Konan, who has good crowd control herself and is vulnerable only to Itachi and Deidara because she can literally fly. Her jutsu arsenal is also very much unknown to almost everyone else. So I can see her surviving for a long time even in a solo ffa scenario.

I'm a much bigger itachi fan in general. Only way you could begin to argue he beats pain after soloing the mid-high level akatsuki members is if kisame is still a factor
itachi would most likely send in a weak clone with an explosion jutsu and sitting out of the fight in this scenario, he knows his stamina is his closest thing to a weakness and would be vulnerable against pain and obito if he got tired before fighting them. given i doubt obito would be trying to go crazy either, and i dont think pains stamina would even be that relevant
I think Orochimaru is being slept on heavily in this discussion, he can end Sasori and Deidara by himself, and the truth is he would only fight itachi if he was planning to take his body in that exact moment which he wouldnt be able to do in a battle royale scenario, so whats the next best thing Orochimaru would do? As a fellow leaf shinobi and someone invested in Itachi's survival so that he could attempt to take his body at a later time it seems likely to me that Orochimaru would actually team up with Itachi. Itachi/Kisame/Orochimaru as a team is breaking off everyone else here.
Genjutsu should, maybe, affect Sasori less than others. Genjutsu is made to influence the senses - and Sasoris senses should work quite differently due to his body. Id say it would take a genjutsu master to be able to alter their genjutsu to properly affect a target like Sasori.. and well, Itachi fits that description. Genjutsu still might be generally less effective on him.
Not to mention in boruto sasuke couldn’t genjutsu a random normal dude with his rinne-sharingan because he had artificial eyes. Sasori could potential be immune to itachi’s visual genjutsu since his entire body is artificial.

Genjutsu just wouldn’t have an affect on Sasori. It relies on altering the brain, but Sasori doesn’t have one, the only living part of him is the heart in his chest. So he’d be completely immune
Assuming Obito isn't involved (too unfair plus he himself as a member wanted to be the outside man working in the shadows anyway), I think Pain claps pretty handily.

This was a fun video idea. I think having Six here worked very well because he has been more objective and less declarative in the past year or two (I think he humbled himself after he realized that speaking arrogantly causes more trouble than it's worth.) You two work well together. I'd like to see this collab again.
My opinion on sasori poison. Kakashi saw Sakura cure sasoris poison like it was nothing. Which does mean Sakura knowledge on poi is greater than sasoris. And Kakashi is still like "nahhh Sakura sasuke is immune to poison"
Konan is slept on as fuck. At 35 years old, and assuming she prepped for the Obito fight since the day of her birth, she canonically creates over 32,595 paper bombs per minute, or more than 543 per SECOND, assuming she started AT BIRTH, which is obviously not when she started. Assuming she started the day she met Madara, then she's able to create roughly 76,061 Paper Bombs per minute, or 1267 per second. Konan might very well be top 3 in the Akatsuki discounting plot.
Plot was the entire reason she made that many paper bombs in the first place. Kishimoto obviously didn’t intend for Konan to create more paper bombs than the surface area of Mexico which btw is how mathematically large her paper Bomb ocean is. Trying to extrapolate concrete numbers from that is definitely crazy Power scaler logic.

First I want to say great video! Top tier my guys. The one argument that could be made against why Pain wouldn't win is due to the threat he imposes upon the battlefield. Most characters don't understand his abilities, and even some of the Akatsuki don't have a clue what he is capable of, but for the likes of Itachi, Orchimaru, Kakazu, and Konnan they have a rough idea at least. It could be possible that Konnan and Pain team up to the point that some of the other Akatsuki members unite under the banner of a greater threat. I still think Pain sweeps most of the members due to the eyes being linked and Summonings being huge for crowd control, but it is an interesting concept of working together to beat a common threat. I also wonder what would happen if Deidara goes to use his microscopic jutsu and pain does Chaotic Shinra tensei. Like do they get spread back onto the others by just sheer force or do they get destroyed. It makes for an interesting possibility imo. Great job once again my guys.
This fight highlights how many puppet type abilities they all have and how many of them there would be. Sasori's puppets of course, deidaras clay creatures, kakuzu's mask things, pains paths and all of pains summons and as an extra, both kisame and itachi often fight with clones. The battlefield would look insane.
I know Hidan isn't gonna beat anyone, but his durability is inconsistent. In one moment; he tanks a 2tails fireball, and a point blank shot from Kakuzu's wind heart with nary a scratch. Then in the next moment, regular blades and paper bombs uttely shred him. (Keep in mind he has no armor or chakra durability amp) It always bugged me slightly.
He actually does not Tank that fire ball lol he runs away and hides behind a wall that gets destroyed and even starts getting burned just from how hot the surroundings are

And he still deliberately has strategies with Kakuzu that involve him regularly eating high tier jutsu while his opponent is occupied with him. "Lets go with the usual" implies he can readily do this, possibly multiple times per fight, if allowed.
I'm not gonna sit here and act like hidan is op or anything but ppl really gotta give him more credit like he did beat asuma (granted it's only cuz asuma had no idea about his abilities) but asuma is supposed to be a pretty high lvl jonin and hidan beats him like he only really lost cuz it was shikamaru put almost any other of a konoha 13 there and most of them lose idk maybe I'm a little biased cuz he is my fav akatsuki member (I know weird right)
If I was to rank the Akatsuki Weakest to Strongest it would probably go: 11 Hidan 10 Kakuzu 9 Zetsu (He is nowhere as near as strong as he use to be) now the next 3,four or five, maybe, are close to one another but I would go 8 Konan 7 Orochimaru 6 Sasori 5 Deidara 4 Kisame 3 Itachi 2 Pain and 1 Obito.
Leaving Obito out is a great call! When I saw the video, I was wondering why it was 50 minutes long. You could make a short out of an Akatsuki battle royale, "Obito wins, he waits for the last standing person and then kamui them away, the end, bye."

Poison probably wouldn't effect orochimaru at all. I think so bcs when it comes to ***anything*** medical releted its pretty clearly stated that tsunade and her student are in another level even when it comes to poison. I mean, sasori himself states he took an year to develop the poison and doesnt know he he woud even be able to make an antidot while chunin sakura did in a day. Also, when compared to sasoris poison sakura's, tsunade's and even shizune's poison have better effects. Sasoris poison only paralizes and then kills someone after 3 days, old lady chyio took and and could continue fighting and all while tsunade intsntly makes an undetectable poison wich takes jiraya out for a day, its stated one sniff of shizune's poison is deadly and sakura's poison literally took out naruto wich can casually whitstand kurama's chackra and all.
Holy wow, there’s a lot of false equivalences in this. Tsunade and her students are specialists in curing poisons, not creating them, in fact it’s a totally different art as you need access to the poison in the first place to create an antidote and wholly different than creating a poison from scratch. Shizune definitely isn’t making poison more potent than Hanzo the Salamander, let alone Sasori, there’s no feats to suggest that. Sasori’s poison>>>Hanzo’s which can paralyze an Edo Tensei>Chiyo’s poisons>Kankuro’s poison that can drop an elephant with only a single breath.

I wish they would have shown more collaborative jutsus between the Akatsuki teams. Especially Kisame and Itachi. Like I can already imagine, picture it; Kisame summons a body of water, or some other water style, and Itachi uses flame release to completely block the enemies vision. Kisame and Itachi however, can move freely since itachi has the Sharingan, and Kisame the Samehada blade4yy

It should be obvious. The top 3 Akatsuki members (Obito, Pain, Itachi) are on another level compared to the rest. For me Kisame comes after those three but he's really not close to any of them.

not really he's like right in the middle of them. He can't beat Orochimaru, Itachi or Pain. It's also debatable against a couple others too. Kakashi was holding his own against him fatigued with just base sharingan and managed to get some good damage in.
the only ppl i see kakazu beating is hidan and big maybe's on sasori (because you could make a good case for poison resistance with his wierd biology) and konan because she lacks many feats. even then i'm leaning more towards sasori because i don't see kakazu tanking iron sand and konan damaging obito with her basic paper bombs is a pretty good feat and she has good tools to deal with kakazu other wise.
24:32 he absorbed them into himself because he realized the people he was fighting were threats to him so he'd probably do that here. He also put them back into himself when there were still multiple people alive so kakazu thought putting the hearts into himself was more important than crowd control
Kakuzu viewed Kakashi as a threat from the jump but nobody else. When Naruto showed up along with help he absorbed them. I do think Kakuzu would take on his hearts in this royal. I don’t agree with the reason they used in this video for him not to.
I think the problem with obito kamuing everyone on the battle field is that once they’re in there if he phases too avoid someone’s attack he’s did , whoever is inside kamui dimension can just attack the parts of him that appear. Tell me if I’m wrong though
Probably his dimension is too large for someone to just stumbled across his body parts. And pretty sure he can choose himself in which part of his dimension he will transport his victim. Kakashi got lucky just because Obito was sure that he so low on charka-reservs that he can't even move. For example, Fu and Torune didn't appear near Sasuke and Karin, and we didn't see any weapons in this dimension around characters, but Obito still was able to extract shurikens or large kunais from it. Besides, when Obito and Sakura were in Kamui, Kakashi didn't teleport to them any true seeking orb while Guy was in the middle of his Madara fight. Plus some time before Kakashi already transported big chank of Gedo statue, but it was not there when Obito entered Kamui with dying Naruto So I think user free to choose to what exact place he teleport object or from what place he extracting things

I dislike all the Kakazu hate. Is he top tier? No, but he's at least relevant to the other mid strength heavy hitters like Sasori. His raw ninjutsu strength is really understated in many of these videos and I think the real problem is that the first time he got to show off in the series it was up against Kakashi of all people. He has wind style that makes Danzo look like a chump, fire style that is only rivaled by high level Uchiha's, actually won the lightning style-off with Kakashi's lightning blade and has diamond armour that makes him a taijutsu threat to anyone that doesn't type counter him with lightning style. Admittedly, we never get to see his water style but with raw firepower alone he is like a Hiruzen on roids and that is gonna be a big problem for everyone outside of Kisame and Pain because they can just absorb it. Everyone else will be forced to evade because aside from triple rashimon or yada mirror, they're not blocking a mask blast of any kind. Also he was 1v4 in his big fight (effectively 1v2.5 because choji and Ino were as useless in that fight as Hidan was). Like ultimately, he isn't winning by any stretch of the imagination but saying that he's second weakest is so weird in my book, I never understand it
Yeah my personal opinion isn’t that he’s that low I have talked about him a lot more in other videos, he’s pretty impressive it’s just easy to get lost in stacked discussions like this so that’s on my for not making the extra effort to show better representation.

My immediate thought was Obito, and as soon as you said he was gone, my next thought was Pain. It just seemed the most likely more times that not. But I will say that this battle could get murky quickly. Pain could split up his Pains and send the animal paths running wild. I think most people would run away from Pain, which would probably lead to some interesting 1v1v1. Like I could see Kakazu jumping into tbe Orochimaru and Sasori fight just to avoid Pain because he knows that's a bad bet. Also, Kakazu, Sasori, Deidara, Pain, and Orochimaru can send out jutsu to cause a muck on other sides of the battlefield. Kakazu could try to catch someone off-guard with one of his hearts. Sasori could try to secretly poison someone. Deidara has bombs he can essentially program to auto-attack people while he's fighting someone else. Pain has too many things. And Orochimaru could summon a multitude of snakes both large and small to either poison or tear up the terrain. It's just a lot of chaos.
I think Hidan would get blasted away but I wouldn’t be surprised for kakuzu or orochimaru or someone to tell him he’d fix em up if he goes after someone else. Who’d be shocked to find out Orochimaru has vials of some of the other akatsuki’s blood
Largely it breaks down to: Hidan+Kakazu+Zetsu vs Konan+Pain .... Because Hidan hates pain the most for his god complex, Kakuzu would be angry about not being paid, and Zetsu wants the rinnegan. and Orochimaru vs Itachi+Kisame vs Deidara+Sasori .... because the 2 group hate Orochimaru, but also Deidara doesn't like Itachi. Then it becomes Konan+Pain vs Itachi+Kisame ... Which would already be close? But Itachi and Kisame had a harder fight in the 1st round; and Itachi isn't a stamina heavy guy. So realistically Pain wins.
Another thing, when orchimaru lost to Itachi, it was by surprise from the Totska blade, and he was in a weakened state. I think the final three is Kakuzu, kisame and Pain
they wrote orochimaru horribly in that moment, made 0 sense, orochimaru saw weak itachi then told him his whole plan for sasuke, orochimaru shoulda stayed hidden until itachi died
Orchimaru my favorite character next to pervy sage but I can’t deny pain takes this whole thing. Only person who has a chance is itatchi just because he might actually find nagato but i dont think he could do it fast enough.

Kakuzu didn't lose a mask to Choji, they actually both survived him crashing them with no problem. The only things strong enough to break the masks is chidori, Hidan's ritual and the legendary shinobi weapons
Pain beats Kisame, but I don’t know if it’s just an overwhelming victory. I think that, after peak Itachi, Kisame provides the biggest challenge to Pain, taking out at least a few paths. Would love to see that fight.
If you think about it...Kisame actually bodies Pain, it's not even close. I don't know how can people look at this two characters feats and come to the conclusion that Pain has any chance. Kisame actually just blitzes and oneshots all 6 of them and there's nothing Pain can do against it. Pain scales in speed and strength to PA Base Naruto, while Kisame scales in speed to V2 Bee and in strength to V1 Bee, who in base scales to WA KCM1 Naruto. Who even himself said that he's stronger now than he was, when he fought Pain. So even if you aren't a power scaler and don't see why KCM1 Naruto is a blitz tier above in speed and leagues above in strength compared to PA Sage Naruto, Naruto says it to you, so you know. It's insane that Kisame scales to him in full power. And it gets even worse when we start to talk about Pain's abilities, because it's feats are horrible. Shinra Tensei never hurts anyone and 6 tails Naruto can resist it, Banshou Tein is a suicide, because the moment Kisame gets in range, he blitzes and oneshots with one Samehada swing. Souls steal has to get close, again: horrible idea. Summons are fodder, not even being able to beat the toads or Jiraiya, not even Sannin level. Chibaku Tensei: Sharkbomb eats it up, GG. And the Chibaku Tensei literally can't kill any Akatsuki member. None of them, except maybe white Zetsu, but he's fodder anyway. But Kisame has the best counter against it. However this isn't even the worst part about the Chibaku Tensei, the worst part is that it not only unable to do anything to Kisame (and even other Akatsuki members), it only gives Nagato a stroke and that's it. So Nagato helps Kisame killing him with that jutsu. Chakra absorber path doesn't matter, when Kisame sees him eating his jutsu, he jumps on him and kills him with one swing. This fight is so a one sided shitstomp, it's not even fair. I actually feel bad for Pain. And this gets even worse, when we start to talk about Kisame's abilities. :D Because Pain has no counters to them. :D Obviously, since it's just an anime/manga, you can have you own opinions on the matter, that's fine. No hard feelings. I'm just saying that looking at the feats and facts rationally, Kisame bodies.

The only reason Naruto even did anything in that fight is because he had like 5 summons, sage mode, saved by hinata, deus ex machina Father heals him and gives him his chakra back AND deva path was unable to fight for the first half of that fight. no, kakazu is a super cool character but way too simple, he has 4/5 hearts, and 4 dummy body guards who spam Kamehameha in different chakra natures, all u need is precision and speed to counter him, kakashi suprisingly lacks jutsu varity that's why he struggled, for example hebi sasuke would just use chidroi spear on 3 of the hearts and kakazu himself, and dragon flame or sword for the other one
35:38 Everybody that I ever see talk about this has such a warped view on the Orochimaru v Itachi fight, always bringing up how weakened Itachi was without ever addressing how weak Orochimaru was in that exchange. Orochimaru busted out of Sasuke, having just brought himself back from the dead. This dude came at Itachi without a vessel (because he left it when Sasuke jumped him in the hideout), while still giga-nurfed from having the part of his soul contained in his arms severed, without any of his jutsu that requires hand-seals, and running on as the datebook put it the "last of his Chakra." Dude was actually running on fumes, and yet still looked at an armored susano'o and saw a W. And that wasn't just Orochimaru's ego talking - he compared the damage caused by Itachi piercing him with the susano'o sword to a "scratch", before of course realizing it was the Totsuka Blade. Orochimaru wasn't even going to fight Itachi with killer intent either, as he wanted his body. Itachi had like every single advantage possible yet still gets wanked by everybody in the community for needing actual GTA cheat codes to win. This isn't to say that I hate Itachi in any way, I certainly don't, but can people at least look both ways here before saying that Itachi effortlessly slapped Orochimaru in his strongest form, because he most definitely did not.
I agree with this and have mentioned a lot of this in other videos, it just wasn’t as relevant since Oro is pretty definitely below Itachi, but I do agree there is a lot more to those encounters
I appreciate your response here. It's refreshing to see somebody actually cool with analyzing it both ways, instead of reflexively shooting down the idea like most people that I've seen seem to. Personally, I would see a healthy Itachi being above prime Orochimaru, sick Itachi I'm not so sure. I mean, the only time they fought, at no point was Orochimaru overpowered or outskilled - he was hit with sharingan genjutsu. A genjutsu I'd argue he was about to break out of at that, considering he was clearly about to perform the genjutsu release sign, which Itachi seemed to feel was an appropriate reason to severe one of his hands. Both Orochimaru and Itachi of course grew significantly stronger following that encounter as well, so ehhh. I'm not completely convinced but I acknowledge that there are likely arguments supporting Itachi that I haven't heard yet.
Yeah like a big one people ignore is how Hydra Oro literally had no qualms about fighting/getting injured by the susanoo and only got folded until it was revealed to be the Totsuka Blade, like bro is DIFFERENT. @@shlonkyplonkycmon now this is some orochimaru cope. The whole point of part 1 is that orochimaru goes after sasuke because he thinks itachi is way stronger than him. He gets no diffed twice by the dude, and if you look into it the sannin are actually stated to be past their prime in pt 1. So the Oro that itachi clapped before pt 1 should be stronger than pt 1 Oro. Then in the sasuke fight Oro is stated to be in his strongest form, and Oro coming out of a curse mark is treated the same as a regen out of that body so you could argue that Oro wasn’t nerfed at all body wise, only that his arms are still sealed. So it’s pretty clear even sasuke fight itachi is leagues above orochimaru

Honestly if it's a free for all, I think itachi would know deidara would cause area damage and to avoid that, meet him first and it would end up like their first encounter.

Honestly in a free for all fight, I see a lot of the Akatsuki members trying to get pain or itachi out early by jumping them. Most of them know how OP itachi is so I see them targeting him first, since most don't know about pain. If he gets overwhelmed and has to use his sharigan too much, he could go down early.
I think one thing you ignored is if Pain summons the animals Samehada might enjoy the chakra from them and that could boost kisame to where he needs to be not 8tails absorbed level but close if Samehada prefers octopus chakra then it might jst enjoy animal chakra in general hence the shark like form of kisame and the way Samehada was drawn to him
In my opinion Itachi is one of the most Unique, Authentic and Influential characters from the series. The thing that people underestimate about Itachi fights/encounters, isn't just his power, (it's mainly writters or Kishimoto's fault for making Itachi seem or to look very powerful throughout the series) but how smart and intelligent he is during various situations, he never, ever underestimates his opponents because of his composure and his way of being, the level of thinking he's on honestly dwars most people in the series, with only people like Minato and Shikaku comparable with him. More precisly, Itachi isn't just any ordinary Shinobi also, he pretty much knows and he's also aware that all strong opponents have weaknesses (including himself), and he specializes in finding those "weaknesses" and exploiting them ("*Even the strongest of opponents always has a weakness*" - Uchiha Itachi) because he's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. Itachi is very unique and authentic, especially in the factor of facing various encounters approach, his unpredictability in his way of fighting style approach it's his key factor in all of his encounters. Being blind or nearly blind has never slowed him down (especially when he's pretty much serious, but that's the point, he has never go all out against anyone during the series.) Itachi it's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. (at least that's what we were shown in the anime by the creator Masashi Kishimoto). Moral of the story, never underestimate Itachi. He did more sick than most healthy ninjas do in their entire life. In my opinion No One should underestimate such an unpredictable Shinobi like Itachi, even Madara (I won't say that Itachi can beat him, but at least he will be pretty much able to put a decent fight that Madara will also be impressed in my opinion). Also how can some of you guys even consider that Totsuka Blade it's slow when no such speed feat has been shown through the Shippuden that state it that it is slow? All of you are assuming it to be slow it may not be the case... Its not that the sword is unavoidable but it clearly has a very long range and is a very long blade. If you look at the manga, Naruto, Bee and Itachi are all relatively small from Nagato's point of view, and you can see the Totsuka Blade extending all the way from Itachi, piercing through Nagato, and still managing to nearly pop out toward the reader out of the page. I would say its fast because Kabuto coudldn't even react to it, and its not like Nagato was completely immobile to the point that he couldn't sidestep the blade. Also, Kabuto controlling people from far away is never stated to inhibit the Edos' reaction speed in any way. Being controlled by someone thousands of miles away didn't stop the Third Raikage from dodging KCM Naruto's Rasenshuriken. And as for Orochimaru, the sword struck him in between syllables of a word during his speech. I think that that is pretty fast. Pair the Totuska Blade with a good feint and its lethal because its ethereal, meaning it can pierce through any object. If the sword didn't live up to its reputation then Orochimaru wouldn't seek it out. People need to stop downplaying Itachi and denying the very clear speed feats of Totsuka. There is no room for interpretations here. The advantage of being an Uchiha, especially for Itachi and Madara, is that during an encounter against them, they always have a counter because of their unpredictable way of fighting factor, they don't run out of options or techniques, they almost always have a counter in their arsenal, even forbidden jutsus seems irrellevant against them, only a few Uchihas know a certain way to approach the situation with a certain and effective technique, that's why is hard/difficult to fight against them in my opinion. ☯️ 🤷🏻♂️ Here are the things that make Itachi so formidable. Tsukuyomi - A genjutsu so powerful that you literally can't escape it unless you have the same blood as Itachi, as stated by Itachi himself and proven later by Sasuke, or you're a jinchuriki. Jinchuriki are supposed to be immune to genjutsu but it hasn't been proven, but when Bee was fighting Edo Nagato and Itachi with Naruto, he said to watch out for Tsukuyomi explicitly. Literally 99% of all opponents fighting Itachi have no way of stopping Tsukuyomi. You could have the power to split the planet in half and it wouldn't matter. (Want to know why? - Kakashi pretty much state it in the actual anime and manga that Tsukuyomi it's such a dangerous Genjutsu Technique because it happen in a instant, even if you realize that you are trapped in the Tsukuyomi, it will be too late, because Itachi could approach you during that time in the real world (or he can use an Explosive Clone to approach you without you even realizing it in time and he can pretty much finish you before you can even realize, - 72 hours in Tsukuyomi realm means 1 second or a couple of seconds in the real world. Tsukuyomi can't be broken, when used to it's fullest.) The Sword of Totsuka and Yata Mirror - The Susanoo itself is a near invincible defense but these two weapons take it to the next step. The Sword of Totsuka can seal "anything" if it even touches it. It's completely OP. It's hard to fight a guy that can seal you away if his sword even touches you. The Yata Mirror is even a bigger deal in my opinion. It doesn't block attacks, it's "negates" them. You could throw an Amaterasu covered Bijuu bomb at Itachi and the Yata mirror will negate it, making it so the Susanoo doesn't even need to take a blow. You could punch the Yata mirror and the force will completely be negated. His biggest strength of all: tactical intelligence - Itachi always outsmarts and plans for everything because the plot demands it. You're physically strong? Itachi is already 2 steps ahead of you knowing exactly what to do. You're extremely fast? Again, 2 steps. You're going to try and outlast Itachi in a fight? Good luck. To add to this, some of the 3 most powerful techniques in the verse are due to his intelligence and planning ability; Izanami, Izanagi, and Kotoamatsukami. Izanami - A forbbiden genjutsu technique that allows you to alter someone's destiny. Impossible to break out of even if you know you're in a genjutsu without complying with the users set destiny for you. Even someone like Bee, a perfect Jinchuriki, can't escape Izanami unless he does what Itachi wants him to. Izanagi - You somehow gained an advantage over Itachi? He makes it so that advantage never happened. Kotoamatsukami - Though Shisui's technique, Itachi has his eye which effectively makes it his weapon. A genjutsu so powerful that the person it's cast on doesn't even know they're under a genjutsu. Like the Tsukuyomi, completely OP. To add to all of this, Itachi is pretty good at hand to hand combat, is great with shuriken, is extremely fast, is great with regular fire techniques, is slippery and unpredictable, and has the extremely dangerous and fast Genjutsu style of fighting approach that can caught you off guard almost at any time. With all of these things considered you've got one dangerous ninja. Lastly but not least Kishimoto made sure that Itachi was seen as someone special and he did an incredible job in establishing that in the story. When Itachi Uchiha awakened his Susano'o, he was seen wielding legendary weapons of the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror. The former allowed Itachi to seal anyone he pierced in a world of genjutsu forever, while the latter gave him the ability to deflect any and all attacks thrown towards him, regardless of whether they were physical or spiritual in nature. According to Zetsu (who was around since the period of Kaguya time era until the present of Naruto) he state it in the anime and also in the manga that these weapons, when combined with his Susano'o, made Itachi Invincible. This is why Kishimoto basically had to give him a handicap: Naruto AIDS. 🤷🏻♂️ ☯️

Itachi can see it but he can't counter it and Pains only chance is to shinra tensei it away but he can't see it. It definitely would beat both of them if he proactively uses it right away.

He is more than capable of reacting to and busting out his susanoo and blocking c4, at least head on, i understand c4 is more of an AOE attack. He would survive c4 any way you look at it. Pain is also more than capable of reacting to and countering c4 with shinra tensei. Idk what you mean by "he can't see it" that doesn't make sense
@@Jesse-df9fz When c4 detonates it instantly disperses the bombs, The yata mirror wouldn't block something that's already in Itachi's body. The jutsu was literally designed to beat Itachi and the only reason it didn't work on Sasuke is his chidori stream on himself. Pain hasn't been shown to be able to see chakra and I guess you could imply it but we have to go with what's said in the actual series. How is he going to react to something he can't see? It's microscopic bombs. The only argument for pain is that maybe the bodies wouldn't absorb the bombs since they are dead.
The disrespect to Kakuzu and you can't even get it right. Choice did not take out a single heart. And in fact Kakuzu only got hit by surprise attacks in his entire fight. Surprised by Kakashi at the beginning, surprised by Shikamaru using Hidan, then surprised by Narutos plot armor. Other than that he didnt get scratched once his entire fight is a 3 vs 1 and then when Yamato and Naruto show up a 5 vs 1. Kakuzu also has one of the highest IQs actively outsmarting not just Kakashi, but Shikamaru too. The hearts can easily be used as one of the strongest power sets when used properly, they weren't even taken out by Kakashi or any of the team he was with at any point despite being in direct conflict. Kakuzu is easily one of the strongest Akatsuki, Deidera got rolled by Kakashi in a few minutes, Kakuzu rolled Kakashi, Choji and Ino by himself in a few seconds. In fact Kakuzu beat Kakashi twice in their fight if not for interference from Shikamaru and Naruto. Kakuzu has a strength level equal to Kisame or greater, a speed higher than Kisame, a intelligence on particular with Itachi, the highest stamina and raw chakra reserves of any Akatsuki member. Kakuzus stamina and chakra levels are only matched by Kisame buffed by Samehada. Do not sleep on the immortal bounty hunter.
I actually told my editor to throw a bit in on screen for that choji part but, he forgot. I actually do agree Kakuzu is pretty underrated and should have gotten a bit better representation he just kinda got lost in the discussion. Now with that being said I do think he’s Mid Tier Akatsuki, where you kinda shuffle those mid tiers around is very dependent. But yeah that part I actually regretted not going into more depth.
The Pain stamina feat is pretty insane when put like that. I love this channel's eagerness to discuss character motivations and personality, you were bang-on to point out that any contributions Deidara/Hidan could make in this fight are cancelled out by their headstrong personalities. They're seeking out the 2 opponents that insta-kill them hahaha. Not Hidan's fault Kishimoto didn't get the chance to finish his moveset I guess. Video idea. Pitch some headcanon abilities that scythe Kishi could've been planning to make Hidan a better-rounded character. I'd WATCH that. I'd love Konan to appear in a matchup btw! Her abilities have always seemed quite vague and I think that'd result in zany match-ups and thought exercises. Just a small thing, but could the discussions on canon/non-canon be avoided in future vids? The way you usually approach it is pretty cool, but on this one it became a bit of a momentum killer. An arbitrary kill-joy. Maybe a quick aside or another conclusion for the canon purists? Keep up the good stuff.

I want to defend Konan a bit, the chick is actually pretty powerful. She was aiding in the battle against the hidden leaf, as a clone and being nigh untouchable during it. And lets be honest, the sharingan is bullshit, she won that fight imo lol plot armor up the ASS on obito throughout the whole series. I definitely could see her, with her flight and clones along with her paper not having a real weakness. She could probably beat Kakuzu, Hidan and Sasori at the least. I think she's definitely stronger than them

Hidan gets outsmart by everyone and blown to bits by Konan and Deidara . Zetsu is getting blits if he comes out of hiding because everyone will be on guard and won't trust them. Konan, Orochimaru, and Deidara get captured by the genjutsu users(Itachi, Obito, Pain). Kakuzu gets smashed by chakra absorbers(Pain, Kisame) and the puppet poisoner. The battle is hard for Itachi because everyone else has more stamina , Kisame fused with his sword is immune to genjustu due to having an active partner, and puppet cannot be under genjutsu, etc.. Itachi has to use susano, his life energy to cast his spirit weapons, or use Shisui's eyes which only takes out Kisame reliably. Obito evades Shisui's eyes just like Danzo did with Izanagi. Puppet guy will take out itachi with poison cause it can get through like Gara's sand. Poison does't work on dead Pains and Obito's dimension jutsu. Who wins Obito or Pain? If he knowns the Izanami ,he could. I think Pain wins due to visual prowess.
In part one he only used his MS 2-3 times and had to dip. Discounting narrative for his departure, he himself noted that his stamina couldn’t handle MS for too long. A lot of people in this gauntlet have insane regeneration or unusual bodies. He’d have to use to it close kills or survive the massive attacks that’re flooding the battlefield. Against the biggest threats, Pain and Orochimaru, there’s little he can do without his MS. He is one of the best, yet he doesn’t have the stamina to win even if he took his meds.
@@clonedrone3084 itachi would use susano, try to swing at everybody and miss, then hes gonna kiss the ground and die, typical overated character, but because he is smart I do think he'll take out a solid 4 people before he dies, he can't be both offensive and defensive, since again he'll use too much stamina
I’d argue Itachi would be more sparing of his chakra reserves against someone like Pain, he automatically would know he’s at a disadvantage in this regard so I could see him fighting really passive until a opening presents himself.
Kakuzu being the second weakest? The guy is imo the 5th or 6th in the group. The only reason he lost was he was fighting multiple people and admits he wasn’t taking the fight seriously at first. The guy survived fighting Hashirama in his prime!

Hidan is VERY relevant in a battle royal. Maybe not in a 1v1 but a royal is different. With all these battles going on around him there's going to be so much blood for him to use in his rituals. He's at least dropping 2 people from the random blood spatters before everyone catches on to what's going on and ends him

Pretty much agree with everything you guys said (tho Deidera's C4 deserved more focus IMO) but I think Konan is underestimated a lot, to go on a bit of a tangent: Not so much you guys here since you didn't talk much about her anyways, but what little we see of her in the series implies she could be sorta nuts power wise, depending on how much you wanna extrapolate from what we see her doing: People only seem to think she can form paper blades and then do her prep-time billion paper bomb attack, but there's no reason she couldn't mix in paper bombs, sealing tags, or summoning paper into her blades or other paper constructs we see her make like her butterfly swarms: it's basically the same sort of ability Deidera has (assuming she can make other animals, constructs, etc) with even more versatility since she could use sealing, summoning, etc based animal constructs instead of just explosive ones.
To keep the analogies going by comparing her abilities to other characters, depending on how fast she can disassemble herself into paper, she could potentially cause attacks to phase through her sorta like a worse version of Kamui, by having parts of her body split into paper as the attacks are about to hit her; and depending on how exactly it works, the suicide attack she tries to catch Obito with and her recovering from that might imply she could re-attach parts of her body with paper sorta like Orochimaru's snake healing abilities. If nothing else, we can summerise she can at least distribute damage in a less harmful way if she splits into paper and only some of her paper pieces getting burned/destroyed instead of major parts of her body. We also see her immobilizing people with paper constructs and making that fake tree, so, again, depending on how skilled with that she is, it's possible she could make Gaara or 4th/3rd Kazekage esque shapes just with paper instead of sand to crush and swipe at people with. Being able to fly is also not to be underestimated, as it allows you to wear people down from a distance, dodge atacks, etc.
Imagine a swarm of paper where some are origami cranes and butterflies and other animals that can home in or move around, and those all either have explosives tags, some have magic seals or and create formation barriers (since we've seen barriers put in place with paper tags) around areas to lock you in place, some are summoning in weapons (like Tenten or Sasuke's weapon tags) or animals or other allied fighters, and some are forming into blades or physical objects to cut or crush you with, while others are trying to wrap around you all the while Konan is hundreds of meters in the air and is basically untouchable and can phase through attacks or reconnect herself as paper if she is injured. Obviously i'm wanking her a bit and we don't know for sure she can do all of that, especially without running into concentration issues or out of Chakra but IN THEORY she might be able to.
At minimum, I think she's on par with Kakazu (who while one of the weakest members in the group, I still think is pretty strong: He's hella durable even without his extra hearts, has some of the best physical strength feats outside of Sage characters, Tsunade, the Raikage, etc; and the scale of his elemental jutsu when the right elements are combined is pretty signficant) and I think at best she's up there with Sasori (hell no reason she can't poison some of her paper too) or Orochimaru or Deidera as one of the mid tier members.
Might even make a good video, to go over characters like Konan we don't see fight a lot and to explain the range of ways you can scale them at minimum, or at maximum if you extrapolate what other usages of their abilities they might have
a good way to shorten this is saying konan is a paper logia fruit user
I think one of the most underrated aspects of Konan is how she is one of the only characters in the series to give any sort of challenge to orange mask Obito. Even excluding the prep, we at least need to respect the raw stats necessary to get that kind of acknowledgement from him. For example, it is easy to use that fight to say her speed scales to Minato and we can clearly see how much more damage even her non-prep bombs do compared to Minato's rasengan. Besides Obito, her only anti-feat is Jiraiya, but it was pretty clear she was never in danger in that fight and Jiraiya should know how to counter her better than almost anyone.
Specifically, she was able to take off an arm and break Obito's mask without any of her prep and if not for at least 5 Izanagi (5 minutes Kamui plus 1 minute each eye for 10 minutes of explosions), her prep would have legitimately beaten Obito, who regularly beats both Pain and Itachi in these fights.

Actually coming back to this, "there's no reason she can't poison her paper too" may not be quite right, since we saw that the paper being soaked in Toad oil interfered with her ability to control it well. So it's possible soaking it in posion may as well
Kisame and itachi would probably just avoid fighting each other rather than help each other. They don’t want to kill anymore friends.
Orochimaru is getting targeted by sassori, and diedera is going for itachi. Orochimaru would know not to attack itachi head on, he’d wait for itachi to weaken. But itachi probably would target orochimaru as number 1 priority.
I could see Kisame want to fight the zombie duo cause 1. He likes to fight, 2. I’m pretty sure he said something like he wanted to see how they died. Also I’m sure kakazu has heard of Kisame and his bounty from the hidden mist.

Kakuzu would literally just see everyone as a moneybag. All of these characters have likely had some form or fashion of bounty on them including Kakuzu himself.

Finally Pain/Nagato getting some well-deserved recognition for his feats. He would be especially relevant in this scenario as his ability to crowd control is basically scalable to any Rinnegan user. Nagato also has a unique feat of reviving a lot of people in one go, which indicates he is probably a top 5 character in terms of chakra pool. He would also be assisted by Konan, who has good crowd control herself and is vulnerable only to Itachi and Deidara because she can literally fly. Her jutsu arsenal is also very much unknown to almost everyone else. So I can see her surviving for a long time even in a solo ffa scenario.
Excluding 6 paths characters yes he's probably top 5 in chakra pool

I'm a much bigger itachi fan in general. Only way you could begin to argue he beats pain after soloing the mid-high level akatsuki members is if kisame is still a factor
itachi would most likely send in a weak clone with an explosion jutsu and sitting out of the fight in this scenario, he knows his stamina is his closest thing to a weakness and would be vulnerable against pain and obito if he got tired before fighting them. given i doubt obito would be trying to go crazy either, and i dont think pains stamina would even be that relevant
I think Orochimaru is being slept on heavily in this discussion, he can end Sasori and Deidara by himself, and the truth is he would only fight itachi if he was planning to take his body in that exact moment which he wouldnt be able to do in a battle royale scenario, so whats the next best thing Orochimaru would do? As a fellow leaf shinobi and someone invested in Itachi's survival so that he could attempt to take his body at a later time it seems likely to me that Orochimaru would actually team up with Itachi. Itachi/Kisame/Orochimaru as a team is breaking off everyone else here.
Deidera hates Orichimaru because he blame Orochimaru's departure with the Akatsuki that forced Deidera to joined Akatsuki.

Genjutsu should, maybe, affect Sasori less than others. Genjutsu is made to influence the senses - and Sasoris senses should work quite differently due to his body. Id say it would take a genjutsu master to be able to alter their genjutsu to properly affect a target like Sasori.. and well, Itachi fits that description. Genjutsu still might be generally less effective on him.
Itachi would have a hard time genjutsu people when he has to be watching his back constantly
Not to mention in boruto sasuke couldn’t genjutsu a random normal dude with his rinne-sharingan because he had artificial eyes. Sasori could potential be immune to itachi’s visual genjutsu since his entire body is artificial.

Genjutsu just wouldn’t have an affect on Sasori. It relies on altering the brain, but Sasori doesn’t have one, the only living part of him is the heart in his chest. So he’d be completely immune

My opinion on sasori poison. Kakashi saw Sakura cure sasoris poison like it was nothing. Which does mean Sakura knowledge on poi is greater than sasoris. And Kakashi is still like "nahhh Sakura sasuke is immune to poison"
Konan is slept on as fuck. At 35 years old, and assuming she prepped for the Obito fight since the day of her birth, she canonically creates over 32,595 paper bombs per minute, or more than 543 per SECOND, assuming she started AT BIRTH, which is obviously not when she started. Assuming she started the day she met Madara, then she's able to create roughly 76,061 Paper Bombs per minute, or 1267 per second. Konan might very well be top 3 in the Akatsuki discounting plot.
I will say I'm a big Konan fan it's just hard to talk about her as you got to run through a lot of the same talking points

Kishimoto obviously didn’t intend for Konan to create more paper bombs than the surface area of Mexico which btw is how mathematically large her paper Bomb ocean is. First I want to say great video! Top tier my guys. The one argument that could be made against why Pain wouldn't win is due to the threat he imposes upon the battlefield. Most characters don't understand his abilities, and even some of the Akatsuki don't have a clue what he is capable of, but for the likes of Itachi, Orchimaru, Kakazu, and Konnan they have a rough idea at least. It could be possible that Konnan and Pain team up to the point that some of the other Akatsuki members unite under the banner of a greater threat. I still think Pain sweeps most of the members due to the eyes being linked and Summonings being huge for crowd control, but it is an interesting concept of working together to beat a common threat. I also wonder what would happen if Deidara goes to use his microscopic jutsu and pain does Chaotic Shinra tensei. Like do they get spread back onto the others by just sheer force or do they get destroyed. It makes for an interesting possibility imo. Great job once again my guys.

This fight highlights how many puppet type abilities they all have and how many of them there would be. Sasori's puppets of course, deidaras clay creatures, kakuzu's mask things, pains paths and all of pains summons and as an extra, both kisame and itachi often fight with clones. The battlefield would look insane.
I know Hidan isn't gonna beat anyone, but his durability is inconsistent. In one moment; he tanks a 2tails fireball, and a point blank shot from Kakuzu's wind heart with nary a scratch. Then in the next moment, regular blades and paper bombs uttely shred him. (Keep in mind he has no armor or chakra durability amp) It always bugged me slightly.

If I was to rank the Akatsuki Weakest to Strongest it would probably go: 11 Hidan 10 Kakuzu 9 Zetsu (He is nowhere as near as strong as he use to be) now the next 3,four or five, maybe, are close to one another but I would go 8 Konan 7 Orochimaru 6 Sasori 5 Deidara 4 Kisame 3 Itachi 2 Pain and 1 Obito.

Poison probably wouldn't effect orochimaru at all. I think so bcs when it comes to ***anything*** medical releted its pretty clearly stated that tsunade and her student are in another level even when it comes to poison. I mean, sasori himself states he took an year to develop the poison and doesnt know he he woud even be able to make an antidot while chunin sakura did in a day. Also, when compared to sasoris poison sakura's, tsunade's and even shizune's poison have better effects. Sasoris poison only paralizes and then kills someone after 3 days, old lady chyio took and and could continue fighting and all while tsunade intsntly makes an undetectable poison wich takes jiraya out for a day, its stated one sniff of shizune's poison is deadly and sakura's poison literally took out naruto wich can casually whitstand kurama's chackra and all.
Holy wow, there’s a lot of false equivalences in this. Tsunade and her students are specialists in curing poisons, not creating them, in fact it’s a totally different art as you need access to the poison in the first place to create an antidote and wholly different than creating a poison from scratch. Shizune definitely isn’t making poison more potent than Hanzo the Salamander, let alone Sasori, there’s no feats to suggest that. Sasori’s poison>>>Hanzo’s which can paralyze an Edo Tensei>Chiyo’s poisons>Kankuro’s poison that can drop an elephant with only a single breath.

I wish they would have shown more collaborative jutsus between the Akatsuki teams. Especially Kisame and Itachi. Like I can already imagine, picture it; Kisame summons a body of water, or some other water style, and Itachi uses flame release to completely block the enemies vision. Kisame and Itachi however, can move freely since itachi has the Sharingan, and Kisame the Samehada blade4yy

not really he's like right in the middle of them. He can't beat Orochimaru, Itachi or Pain. It's also debatable against a couple others too. Kakashi was holding his own against him fatigued with just base sharingan and managed to get some good damage in.
the only ppl i see kakazu beating is hidan and big maybe's on sasori (because you could make a good case for poison resistance with his wierd biology) and konan because she lacks many feats. even then i'm leaning more towards sasori because i don't see kakazu tanking iron sand and konan damaging obito with her basic paper bombs is a pretty good feat and she has good tools to deal with kakazu other wise.
24:32 he absorbed them into himself because he realized the people he was fighting were threats to him so he'd probably do that here. He also put them back into himself when there were still multiple people alive so kakazu thought putting the hearts into himself was more important than crowd control
Kakuzu viewed Kakashi as a threat from the jump but nobody else. When Naruto showed up along with help he absorbed them. I do think Kakuzu would take on his hearts in this royal. I don’t agree with the reason they used in this video for him not to.

I think the problem with obito kamuing everyone on the battle field is that once they’re in there if he phases too avoid someone’s attack he’s did , whoever is inside kamui dimension can just attack the parts of him that appear. Tell me if I’m wrong though

Probably his dimension is too large for someone to just stumbled across his body parts. And pretty sure he can choose himself in which part of his dimension he will transport his victim.
Kakashi got lucky just because Obito was sure that he so low on charka-reservs that he can't even move.
For example, Fu and Torune didn't appear near Sasuke and Karin, and we didn't see any weapons in this dimension around characters, but Obito still was able to extract shurikens or large kunais from it.
Besides, when Obito and Sakura were in Kamui, Kakashi didn't teleport to them any true seeking orb while Guy was in the middle of his Madara fight. Plus some time before Kakashi already transported big chank of Gedo statue, but it was not there when Obito entered Kamui with dying Naruto

I dislike all the Kakazu hate. Is he top tier? No, but he's at least relevant to the other mid strength heavy hitters like Sasori. His raw ninjutsu strength is really understated in many of these videos and I think the real problem is that the first time he got to show off in the series it was up against Kakashi of all people. He has wind style that makes Danzo look like a chump, fire style that is only rivaled by high level Uchiha's, actually won the lightning style-off with Kakashi's lightning blade and has diamond armour that makes him a taijutsu threat to anyone that doesn't type counter him with lightning style. Admittedly, we never get to see his water style but with raw firepower alone he is like a Hiruzen on roids and that is gonna be a big problem for everyone outside of Kisame and Pain because they can just absorb it. Everyone else will be forced to evade because aside from triple rashimon or yada mirror, they're not blocking a mask blast of any kind. Also he was 1v4 in his big fight (effectively 1v2.5 because choji and Ino were as useless in that fight as Hidan was). Like ultimately, he isn't winning by any stretch of the imagination but saying that he's second weakest is so weird in my book, I never understand it

My immediate thought was Obito, and as soon as you said he was gone, my next thought was Pain.
It just seemed the most likely more times that not.
But I will say that this battle could get murky quickly. Pain could split up his Pains and send the animal paths running wild. I think most people would run away from Pain, which would probably lead to some interesting 1v1v1. Like I could see Kakazu jumping into tbe Orochimaru and Sasori fight just to avoid Pain because he knows that's a bad bet.
Also, Kakazu, Sasori, Deidara, Pain, and Orochimaru can send out jutsu to cause a muck on other sides of the battlefield. Kakazu could try to catch someone off-guard with one of his hearts. Sasori could try to secretly poison someone. Deidara has bombs he can essentially program to auto-attack people while he's fighting someone else. Pain has too many things. And Orochimaru could summon a multitude of snakes both large and small to either poison or tear up the terrain. It's just a lot of chaos.
I think Hidan would get blasted away but I wouldn’t be surprised for kakuzu or orochimaru or someone to tell him he’d fix em up if he goes after someone else. Who’d be shocked to find out Orochimaru has vials of some of the other akatsuki’s blood
Largely it breaks down to:
Hidan+Kakazu+Zetsu vs Konan+Pain .... Because Hidan hates pain the most for his god complex, Kakuzu would be angry about not being paid, and Zetsu wants the rinnegan.

Orochimaru vs Itachi+Kisame vs Deidara+Sasori .... because the 2 group hate Orochimaru, but also Deidara doesn't like Itachi.
Then it becomes Konan+Pain vs Itachi+Kisame ... Which would already be close? But Itachi and Kisame had a harder fight in the 1st round; and Itachi isn't a stamina heavy guy. So realistically Pain wins.

Another thing, when orchimaru lost to Itachi, it was by surprise from the Totska blade, and he was in a weakened state. I think the final three is Kakuzu, kisame and Pain
they wrote orochimaru horribly in that moment, made 0 sense, orochimaru saw weak itachi then told him his whole plan for sasuke, orochimaru shoulda stayed hidden until itachi died

Kakuzu didn't lose a mask to Choji, they actually both survived him crashing them with no problem. The only things strong enough to break the masks is chidori, Hidan's ritual and the legendary shinobi weapons
Pain beats Kisame, but I don’t know if it’s just an overwhelming victory. I think that, after peak Itachi, Kisame provides the biggest challenge to Pain, taking out at least a few paths. Would love to see that fight.
If you think about it...Kisame actually bodies Pain, it's not even close. I don't know how can people look at this two characters feats and come to the conclusion that Pain has any chance. Kisame actually just blitzes and oneshots all 6 of them and there's nothing Pain can do against it. Pain scales in speed and strength to PA Base Naruto, while Kisame scales in speed to V2 Bee and in strength to V1 Bee, who in base scales to WA KCM1 Naruto. Who even himself said that he's stronger now than he was, when he fought Pain. So even if you aren't a power scaler and don't see why KCM1 Naruto is a blitz tier above in speed and leagues above in strength compared to PA Sage Naruto, Naruto says it to you, so you know. It's insane that Kisame scales to him in full power.
And it gets even worse when we start to talk about Pain's abilities, because it's feats are horrible. Shinra Tensei never hurts anyone and 6 tails Naruto can resist it, Banshou Tein is a suicide, because the moment Kisame gets in range, he blitzes and oneshots with one Samehada swing. Souls steal has to get close, again: horrible idea. Summons are fodder, not even being able to beat the toads or Jiraiya, not even Sannin level. Chibaku Tensei: Sharkbomb eats it up, GG. And the Chibaku Tensei literally can't kill any Akatsuki member. None of them, except maybe white Zetsu, but he's fodder anyway. But Kisame has the best counter against it. However this isn't even the worst part about the Chibaku Tensei, the worst part is that it not only unable to do anything to Kisame (and even other Akatsuki members), it only gives Nagato a stroke and that's it. So Nagato helps Kisame killing him with that jutsu. Chakra absorber path doesn't matter, when Kisame sees him eating his jutsu, he jumps on him and kills him with one swing.
This fight is so a one sided shitstomp, it's not even fair. I actually feel bad for Pain. And this gets even worse, when we start to talk about Kisame's abilities. :D Because Pain has no counters to them. :D

no, kakazu is a super cool character but way too simple, he has 4/5 hearts, and 4 dummy body guards who spam Kamehameha in different chakra natures, all u need is precision and speed to counter him, kakashi suprisingly lacks jutsu varity that's why he struggled, for example hebi sasuke would just use chidroi spear on 3 of the hearts and kakazu himself, and dragon flame or sword for the other one

35:38 Everybody that I ever see talk about this has such a warped view on the Orochimaru v Itachi fight, always bringing up how weakened Itachi was without ever addressing how weak Orochimaru was in that exchange.
Orochimaru busted out of Sasuke, having just brought himself back from the dead. This dude came at Itachi without a vessel (because he left it when Sasuke jumped him in the hideout), while still giga-nurfed from having the part of his soul contained in his arms severed, without any of his jutsu that requires hand-seals, and running on as the datebook put it the "last of his Chakra." Dude was actually running on fumes, and yet still looked at an armored susano'o and saw a W. And that wasn't just Orochimaru's ego talking - he compared the damage caused by Itachi piercing him with the susano'o sword to a "scratch", before of course realizing it was the Totsuka Blade.
Orochimaru wasn't even going to fight Itachi with killer intent either, as he wanted his body.
Itachi had like every single advantage possible yet still gets wanked by everybody in the community for needing actual GTA cheat codes to win.
This isn't to say that I hate Itachi in any way, I certainly don't, but can people at least look both ways here before saying that Itachi effortlessly slapped Orochimaru in his strongest form, because he most definitely did not.

Personally, I would see a healthy Itachi being above prime Orochimaru, sick Itachi I'm not so sure. I mean, the only time they fought, at no point was Orochimaru overpowered or outskilled - he was hit with sharingan genjutsu.
A genjutsu I'd argue he was about to break out of at that, considering he was clearly about to perform the genjutsu release sign, which Itachi seemed to feel was an appropriate reason to severe one of his hands.
Both Orochimaru and Itachi of course grew significantly stronger following that encounter as well, so ehhh. I'm not completely convinced but I acknowledge that there are likely arguments supporting Itachi that I haven't heard yet.
Yeah like a big one people ignore is how Hydra Oro literally had no qualms about fighting/getting injured by the susanoo and only got folded until it was revealed to be the Totsuka Blade, like bro is DIFFERENT. He gets no diffed twice by the dude, and if you look into it the sannin are actually stated to be past their prime in pt 1. So the Oro that itachi clapped before pt 1 should be stronger than pt 1 Oro. Then in the sasuke fight Oro is stated to be in his strongest form, and Oro coming out of a curse mark is treated the same as a regen out of that body so you could argue that Oro wasn’t nerfed at all body wise, only that his arms are still sealed. So it’s pretty clear even sasuke fight itachi is leagues above orochimaru

Honestly in a free for all fight, I see a lot of the Akatsuki members trying to get pain or itachi out early by jumping them. Most of them know how OP itachi is so I see them targeting him first, since most don't know about pain. If he gets overwhelmed and has to use his sharigan too much, he could go down early.
Other possibility. Pain just Shinra tenseis the whole field and kills everyone in one blow

I think one thing you ignored is if Pain summons the animals Samehada might enjoy the chakra from them and that could boost kisame to where he needs to be not 8tails absorbed level but close if Samehada prefers octopus chakra then it might jst enjoy animal chakra in general hence the shark like form of kisame and the way Samehada was drawn to him
In my opinion Itachi is one of the most Unique, Authentic and Influential characters from the series. The thing that people underestimate about Itachi fights/encounters, isn't just his power, (it's mainly writters or Kishimoto's fault for making Itachi seem or to look very powerful throughout the series) but how smart and intelligent he is during various situations, he never, ever underestimates his opponents because of his composure and his way of being, the level of thinking he's on honestly dwars most people in the series, with only people like Minato and Shikaku comparable with him. More precisly, Itachi isn't just any ordinary Shinobi also, he pretty much knows and he's also aware that all strong opponents have weaknesses (including himself), and he specializes in finding those "weaknesses" and exploiting them ("*Even the strongest of opponents always has a weakness*" - Uchiha Itachi) because he's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. Itachi is very unique and authentic, especially in the factor of facing various encounters approach, his unpredictability in his way of fighting style approach it's his key factor in all of his encounters. Being blind or nearly blind has never slowed him down (especially when he's pretty much serious, but that's the point, he has never go all out against anyone during the series.) Itachi it's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. (at least that's what we were shown in the anime by the creator Masashi Kishimoto). Moral of the story, never underestimate Itachi. He did more sick than most healthy ninjas do in their entire life. In my opinion No One should underestimate such an unpredictable Shinobi like Itachi, even Madara (I won't say that Itachi can beat him, but at least he will be pretty much able to put a decent fight that Madara will also be impressed in my opinion). Also how can some of you guys even consider that Totsuka Blade it's slow when no such speed feat has been shown through the Shippuden that state it that it is slow? All of you are assuming it to be slow it may not be the case... Its not that the sword is unavoidable but it clearly has a very long range and is a very long blade. If you look at the manga, Naruto, Bee and Itachi are all relatively small from Nagato's point of view, and you can see the Totsuka Blade extending all the way from Itachi, piercing through Nagato, and still managing to nearly pop out toward the reader out of the page. I would say its fast because Kabuto coudldn't even react to it, and its not like Nagato was completely immobile to the point that he couldn't sidestep the blade. Also, Kabuto controlling people from far away is never stated to inhibit the Edos' reaction speed in any way. Being controlled by someone thousands of miles away didn't stop the Third Raikage from dodging KCM Naruto's Rasenshuriken. And as for Orochimaru, the sword struck him in between syllables of a word during his speech. I think that that is pretty fast. Pair the Totuska Blade with a good feint and its lethal because its ethereal, meaning it can pierce through any object. If the sword didn't live up to its reputation then Orochimaru wouldn't seek it out. People need to stop downplaying Itachi and denying the very clear speed feats of Totsuka. There is no room for interpretations here. The advantage of being an Uchiha, especially for Itachi and Madara, is that during an encounter against them, they always have a counter because of their unpredictable way of fighting factor, they don't run out of options or techniques, they almost always have a counter in their arsenal, even forbidden jutsus seems irrellevant against them, only a few Uchihas know a certain way to approach the situation with a certain and effective technique, that's why is hard/difficult to fight against them in my opinion. ☯️ 🤷🏻♂️ Here are the things that make Itachi so formidable. Tsukuyomi - A genjutsu so powerful that you literally can't escape it unless you have the same blood as Itachi, as stated by Itachi himself and proven later by Sasuke, or you're a jinchuriki. Jinchuriki are supposed to be immune to genjutsu but it hasn't been proven, but when Bee was fighting Edo Nagato and Itachi with Naruto, he said to watch out for Tsukuyomi explicitly. Literally 99% of all opponents fighting Itachi have no way of stopping Tsukuyomi. You could have the power to split the planet in half and it wouldn't matter. (Want to know why? - Kakashi pretty much state it in the actual anime and manga that Tsukuyomi it's such a dangerous Genjutsu Technique because it happen in a instant, even if you realize that you are trapped in the Tsukuyomi, it will be too late, because Itachi could approach you during that time in the real world (or he can use an Explosive Clone to approach you without you even realizing it in time and he can pretty much finish you before you can even realize, - 72 hours in Tsukuyomi realm means 1 second or a couple of seconds in the real world. Tsukuyomi can't be broken, when used to it's fullest.) The Sword of Totsuka and Yata Mirror - The Susanoo itself is a near invincible defense but these two weapons take it to the next step. The Sword of Totsuka can seal "anything" if it even touches it. It's completely OP. It's hard to fight a guy that can seal you away if his sword even touches you. The Yata Mirror is even a bigger deal in my opinion. It doesn't block attacks, it's "negates" them. You could throw an Amaterasu covered Bijuu bomb at Itachi and the Yata mirror will negate it, making it so the Susanoo doesn't even need to take a blow. You could punch the Yata mirror and the force will completely be negated. His biggest strength of all: tactical intelligence - Itachi always outsmarts and plans for everything because the plot demands it. You're physically strong? Itachi is already 2 steps ahead of you knowing exactly what to do. You're extremely fast? Again, 2 steps. You're going to try and outlast Itachi in a fight? Good luck. To add to this, some of the 3 most powerful techniques in the verse are due to his intelligence and planning ability; Izanami, Izanagi, and Kotoamatsukami. Izanami - A forbbiden genjutsu technique that allows you to alter someone's destiny. Impossible to break out of even if you know you're in a genjutsu without complying with the users set destiny for you. Even someone like Bee, a perfect Jinchuriki, can't escape Izanami unless he does what Itachi wants him to. Izanagi - You somehow gained an advantage over Itachi? He makes it so that advantage never happened. Kotoamatsukami - Though Shisui's technique, Itachi has his eye which effectively makes it his weapon. A genjutsu so powerful that the person it's cast on doesn't even know they're under a genjutsu. Like the Tsukuyomi, completely OP. To add to all of this, Itachi is pretty good at hand to hand combat, is great with shuriken, is extremely fast, is great with regular fire techniques, is slippery and unpredictable, and has the extremely dangerous and fast Genjutsu style of fighting approach that can caught you off guard almost at any time. With all of these things considered you've got one dangerous ninja. Lastly but not least Kishimoto made sure that Itachi was seen as someone special and he did an incredible job in establishing that in the story. When Itachi Uchiha awakened his Susano'o, he was seen wielding legendary weapons of the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror. The former allowed Itachi to seal anyone he pierced in a world of genjutsu forever, while the latter gave him the ability to deflect any and all attacks thrown towards him, regardless of whether they were physical or spiritual in nature. According to Zetsu (who was around since the period of Kaguya time era until the present of Naruto) he state it in the anime and also in the manga that these weapons, when combined with his Susano'o, made Itachi Invincible. This is why Kishimoto basically had to give him a handicap: Naruto AIDS. 🤷🏻♂️ ☯️

He is more than capable of reacting to and busting out his susanoo and blocking c4, at least head on, i understand c4 is more of an AOE attack. He would survive c4 any way you look at it. Pain is also more than capable of reacting to and countering c4 with shinra tensei. Idk what you mean by "he can't see it" that doesn't make sense
@@Jesse-df9fz When c4 detonates it instantly disperses the bombs, The yata mirror wouldn't block something that's already in Itachi's body. The jutsu was literally designed to beat Itachi and the only reason it didn't work on Sasuke is his chidori stream on himself. Pain hasn't been shown to be able to see chakra and I guess you could imply it but we have to go with what's said in the actual series. How is he going to react to something he can't see? It's microscopic bombs. The only argument for pain is that maybe the bodies wouldn't absorb the bombs since they are dead.
The disrespect to Kakuzu and you can't even get it right. Choice did not take out a single heart.
And in fact Kakuzu only got hit by surprise attacks in his entire fight.
Surprised by Kakashi at the beginning, surprised by Shikamaru using Hidan, then surprised by Narutos plot armor.
Other than that he didnt get scratched once his entire fight is a 3 vs 1 and then when Yamato and Naruto show up a 5 vs 1.
Kakuzu also has one of the highest IQs actively outsmarting not just Kakashi, but Shikamaru too.
The hearts can easily be used as one of the strongest power sets when used properly, they weren't even taken out by Kakashi or any of the team he was with at any point despite being in direct conflict.
Kakuzu is easily one of the strongest Akatsuki, Deidera got rolled by Kakashi in a few minutes, Kakuzu rolled Kakashi, Choji and Ino by himself in a few seconds.
In fact Kakuzu beat Kakashi twice in their fight if not for interference from Shikamaru and Naruto.
Kakuzu has a strength level equal to Kisame or greater, a speed higher than Kisame, a intelligence on particular with Itachi, the highest stamina and raw chakra reserves of any Akatsuki member.
Kakuzus stamina and chakra levels are only matched by Kisame buffed by Samehada.
Do not sleep on the immortal bounty hunter.

I actually do agree Kakuzu is pretty underrated and should have gotten a bit better representation he just kinda got lost in the discussion.
Now with that being said I do think he’s Mid Tier Akatsuki, where you kinda shuffle those mid tiers around is very dependent.

The Pain stamina feat is pretty insane when put like that. I love this channel's eagerness to discuss character motivations and personality, you were bang-on to point out that any contributions Deidara/Hidan could make in this fight are cancelled out by their headstrong personalities. They're seeking out the 2 opponents that insta-kill them hahaha. Not Hidan's fault Kishimoto didn't get the chance to finish his moveset I guess. Video idea. Pitch some headcanon abilities that scythe Kishi could've been planning to make Hidan a better-rounded character. I'd WATCH that.
I'd love Konan to appear in a matchup btw! Her abilities have always seemed quite vague and I think that'd result in zany match-ups and thought exercises.

I definitely could see her, with her flight and clones along with her paper not having a real weakness. She could probably beat Kakuzu, Hidan and Sasori at the least. I think she's definitely stronger than them

Obito literally took time to explain izanagi whole sasuke was fighting danzo which happened chapters ago. It isn’t a new concept. She would’ve lost anyway even with prep, if obito didn’t need to use genjutsu on her for whereabouts on the rinnegan and actually took the fight seriously she would be dead sooner, he didn’t have killing intent she did
Sasori has 10000 puppets……each with their own jutsus……You are forgetting that only reason we didnt see more of him is because it would be pain in ass to draw and animate the whole army pf puppets using their jutsus
Hidan gets outsmart by everyone and blown to bits by Konan and Deidara . Zetsu is getting blits if he comes out of hiding because everyone will be on guard and won't trust them. Konan, Orochimaru, and Deidara get captured by the genjutsu users(Itachi, Obito, Pain). Kakuzu gets smashed by chakra absorbers(Pain, Kisame) and the puppet poisoner. The battle is hard for Itachi because everyone else has more stamina , Kisame fused with his sword is immune to genjustu due to having an active partner, and puppet cannot be under genjutsu, etc.. Itachi has to use susano, his life energy to cast his spirit weapons, or use Shisui's eyes which only takes out Kisame reliably. Obito evades Shisui's eyes just like Danzo did with Izanagi. Puppet guy will take out itachi with poison cause it can get through like Gara's sand. Poison does't work on dead Pains and Obito's dimension jutsu. Who wins Obito or Pain? If he knowns the Izanami ,he could. I think Pain wins due to visual prowess.

Ppl have to realize that Itachi can take out 95% of shinobi with a regular genjutsu. He doesn’t have to waste much stamina by overdoing MS.

Pains got the most power, stamina and is just the most well rounded. Itachi’s incredibly strong but he’s lacking in stamina
In part one he only used his MS 2-3 times and had to dip. Discounting narrative for his departure, he himself noted that his stamina couldn’t handle MS for too long. A lot of people in this gauntlet have insane regeneration or unusual bodies. He’d have to use to it close kills or survive the massive attacks that’re flooding the battlefield. Against the biggest threats, Pain and Orochimaru, there’s little he can do without his MS. He is one of the best, yet he doesn’t have the stamina to win even if he took his meds.
@@clonedrone3084 itachi would use susano, try to swing at everybody and miss, then hes gonna kiss the ground and die, typical overated character, but because he is smart I do think he'll take out a solid 4 people before he dies, he can't be both offensive and defensive, since again he'll use too much stamina
I’d argue Itachi would be more sparing of his chakra reserves against someone like Pain, he automatically would know he’s at a disadvantage in this regard so I could see him fighting really passive until a opening presents himself.
Kakuzu being the second weakest? The guy is imo the 5th or 6th in the group.
The only reason he lost was he was fighting multiple people and admits he wasn’t taking the fight seriously at first. The guy survived fighting Hashirama in his prime!
