For me, i never underestimated or found Danzo to be weak. They just made him so grimy and unlikeable that you always rooted for his loss
Perfectly said, hate him but at the same time he was literally the hokage, had the mangekyo sharingan, hashirama cells, like 10 fully mastered sharingan and could rewrite reality. Not to mention had shown relativity with Dms sasuke who has shown feats on multiple Kage including Lcm amped Ay, also had the susanoo..
I actually really like Danzo. 3rd was a weak leader and Danzo lived in the reality.

Everyone underestimates Danzo. People forget that he caught Sasuke in a binding curse and was going to kill him. The only reason Sasuke didn’t die was that his hatred and his susanoo evolved mid fight as Danzo mocked Itachi. Because Obito was there and he was waiting to fight him he conserved his chakra and resorted to physical attacks such as when he sent Karin flying with a kick shattering some rocks. So his physical abilities must be higher than people think.
With that logic you can also say, The only reason Danzo didn’t die sooner is because Obito wanted Sasuke to dive deeper into darkness, Obito could have easily killed Danzo with much less effort than a Sasuke that was still getting used to his powers

@@Actionfigure_fit that doesn’t make any sense. Obito’s broken anyways. He was far above Sauke by that point it makes no sense to compare them. Also he didn’t know how Sasuke would evolve . He didn’t plan on letting him out till eventually Sasuke asked. And when Danzo was gonna kill Sauke Obito used his mangekyo ability and was gonna save Sasuke . Lastly Danzo’s subordinates figured out Obito’s abilities extremely fast and even partialy counted them as Obito lost his arm against them. Danzo could figure out that fast as well. And Danzo even when facing Sasuke was holding back knowing he’d have to face Madara after. Lastly Danzo already wasted Shisui’s eye at the very start of the fight .
@@historyking9984 They never countered anything, Obito wasn't fighting them seriously. The Hashirama cells arm he sacrificed was only because he has to touch his enemies in order to transport them to the kamui dimension and he was fighting one opponent in a million who was harmful when touched. They were outclassed in every way. So would be Danzo, Obito stomps him any day with negative difficulty.
@@Actionfigure_fit Tbh Obito had no plans for Sasuke beyond using him to fight Danzo here. After this fight they would never have interacted again if Sasuke doesn't choose to change sides. This implies Obito needed or at least found it preferable for Sasuke to fight Danzo for him.
I've never clicked faster on a video before. Danzo is my favorite character from Naruto Shippuden. He is so underrated when it comes to to power scaling/versus videos, especially considering that he is actually extremely powerful and skilled who also possess many hax abilities that would overpower 90% of the Naruto verse.

@@CelestQB the fight was extreme diffficulty and sasuke left the fight with fatal injuries, no chakra, and near blindness.
Danzo did this while fighting in base and while holding back as stated by him and other reliable sources.
This same sasuke while much weaker could fight all the kage individually and was contending with Kakashi who could fight tendo pain.

One thing i think should also be mentioned in these fights is danzos suicide seal that could possibly take some of these characters by surprise and is big enough to seal multiple people and has a surprise factor to it

the thing about Sasori v. Danzo is that Sasori's poison stays an instant win con if he hits Danzo even once. The poison paralyzes him right away, but it takes days to actually kill, which means Danzo's doesn't die while izanagi is active. He dies well after
Izanagi would get rid of the poison. Izanagi doesn't just get rid of death, it gets rid of anything disadvantageous.
Its nice to see someone legitimately go over Kakuzu's abilities and scaling and not just consider him fodder or do the overused Kakuzu is stronger than Pain jokes. His Earth style skin harding jutsu was only able to be penetrated by lightning style like Kakashi did to him and he had very powerful elemental jutsu. Not to mention the fact he almost killed Kakashi in the fight and was only because of Shikamaru's blood plan working at the perfect time that he didnt get killed.

Literally dumbasses out there in the community who think he's fodder and scales to Naruto post rasenshuriken training, nevermind the amount of plot armor bullshit he had on his side and Kakashi had to sneak up on him to destroy even one of his hearts. He also fought evenly in taijutsu with kakashi and proceeded to completely outbox choji. Kakashi even only admitted that he could have won with the sharingan, which is proof that he literally could have only defeated kakuzu with kamui. Kakuzu is massively underrated. Man fought hashirama and survived against him.
If I recall, the reason obito was able to survive the ten minutes of paper bombs with only one izanagi wasn't because his was better and it lasted the whole time. I believe konan stated that she had some Intel that obito could only stay intangible with kamui for 5 minutes, so she made paper bombs to go off for double that.
I believe the idea was that he was intangible, came out of it with izanagi, died, came back however izanagi works then went intangible again for the remaining time.
Ohh that’s an interesting take, I will say it’s more implied he just izanagi’d the ten minutes just cause the eye goes blind on screen when he comes out of it was easier it would have already been blind
@@ThunderGodTG I see, well I'll definitely defer to you as you're knowledge is way better than mine and I'm going off my vague memory from the first time I read/watched all this. But I could have sworn there was a line where Konan stated that she knew Obito/Tobi could only be intangible for 5 minutes (this was before it was revealed to be Kamui and there was still some mystery to his jutsu). Maybe I'll go re read that part of the Manga and see if I come away with the same opinion or not after refreshing myself on it.
Yeah that’s entirely correct that’s his limit in terms of Kamui, since it was in reference to his ability to continually shift through attack, she had no idea about kamui or how long it works. I also say he Izanagi’d for ten minutes since he breaks the right side of his mask implying he’s about to use the jutsu before she sets it off.
@@ThunderGodTG so I went back and re read the relevant chapters. After doing so I definitely see why I thought the way I did and I'd even say it's all left vague enough that I wouldn't be completely unjustified for still thinking that way. But there's enough small context clues to lean toward him just having a better izanagi. Konan definitely does say that he can only Kamui for roughly 5 minutes and made enough paper bombs to continually go off for 10. But I see what you're saying about him reaching to break his mask before the bombs go off at all and that along with him implying that Danzo's izanagi was inferior due to him not being able to handle the Hashirama cells at well.
Frankly though I kinda like the way I had it in my head. Obito barely making it out of there by thinking on the fly, using Kamui to the max, then izanagi to revive then Kamui again. Makes it more strategic and feel like more of a close call than him just having an op izanagi.

Respectfully, Deidara solo’s. “I can resurrect 12 times” “cool I’ll just nuke you from orbit for the next two hours.”
There’s nothing in Danzo’s arsenal that can consistently give him a win condition. We see him use and get caught and fail the one genjutsu “attack” he attempts against Mifune the samurai. Immediately found out. His sharingan are effective enough to see the micro bombs designed for Itachi and countered by sasuke because he happens to be one of like 4 living people capable of coursing lightning infused chakra through their entire body. He’s quick but his summon is a large stationary beast. One bomb to the suction mouth and that things gone. And he has nothing in his arsenal that can get him in range. Gaara, Sasuké, and Sai all have flight in some capacity and only Sai and Sasuké really tag him.
Deidara clears a solid 7/10 times. Sharingan Genjutsu could work, izanagi could catch him off-guard. But if he plays it like he did against Gaara, unlikely.

@@Prince_Luci Sasuke was shown to be faster than Deidara and Danzo is relative to summit Sasuke's speed. Danzo also has a wide variety of ranged attacks. Deidara won't be able to stay in the air because Danzo can take out his birds wings with wind style shurhikin or he can bring him to the ground with his summoning.

Guys, everyone misunderstands Konan. Look at the page at 24:28. "My sacred paper emissary jutsu... Has come undone..." She is "unhitable" until she has chakra! She doesn't need to activate anything. Until she has chakra, you can't harm her, because she's made out of paper. Period. Jiraiya was able to counter her, because of oil, which has different effect than water and cancels that jutsu and made her vulnerable. So no, Danzou's first Izanagi wouldn't work, she doesn't have to activate anything, it's automatic for her until she has chakra.
Even Six missed this part about Konan in one of his videos and I've never seen anyone talking about this. So just to let you guys know, this is how Konan works.
That doesn't mean she doesn't need to react to actually initiate the jutsu, I do understand your point, but by the logic presented she'd be able to phase shift through anyone no matter their speed. I'm more of the opinion she has to consciously do it which isn't mutually exclusive to what you mentioned. Unless there’s a specific statement I’m not aware of for it being auto but, I haven’t come across it.
It's less that Jiraiya's oil countered her Jutsu and made Konan vulnerable to taking damage as much as it was the oil simply prevented any more paper from unfolding from her body by making the sheets stick together. I believe that her Jutsu was still active (as she was still able to fly and was unharmed by Jiraiya's Wild Lion's Mane Technique), but she simply couldn't create any more paper to attack with until Pain washed the oil away with his summon's foam. So at least to me it seemed more of a temporary stopgap to buy him time to talk than him "beating" Konan.
I dont think pain is going to fall for kotoamatsukami, even if the rinnegan isnt immune to visual genjutsu, cause kotoamatsukami only works on one person, and there are 6 of them, 7 technically, nagato would immediately know that one of the paths is under a genjutsu and it wouldn't be a problem to deactivate that path and revive it again, it might work if danzo somehow can defeat 5 paths but considering their power level, danzo is going to be able to take out 2 paths at most (that too if everything works well for danzo and everything goes wrong for pain)

1. When jiraiya used genjutsu on pain, it didnt have any effect on nagato himself
2. When ma and pa (pain vs naruto) casted the toad song genjutsu on the wolf and rhino summonings, it only effected those two, the other paths were fine despite all of them having the same shared vision and hearing
3. Edo tensei functions just like the path of pain (kabuto was able to see and hear from his edo just like nagato and his paths) but when itachi put himself under genjutsu, it didnt effect kabuto
So if danzo wants to cast GENJUTSU on nagato he would have to directly cast it on nagato not the paths, and this is where it gets even worse for danzo, if he wants to paralyse all the paths of pain with genjutsu he would have to use kotoamatsukami on all the paths + summonings AT ONCE and given that kotoamatsukami is a single target basedgenjutsu (when i say single target it means that koto can only effect 1 person when used, cause if it was a multi target genjutsu, itachi would have freed nagato with him and danzo would koto everyone in the summit not just mufune) it wouldn't do anything unless danzo is in a 1v1 with any of the paths

Danzo is a beast. It’s possible he was the strongest Kage at the 5 summit.
He was, he was hiruzen’s rival who was also the strongest kage of his time. He also preformed better against sasuke then the other kage

@@spit-fire the raikage was going to suicide rush sasuke confirming that they both would have died. The sasuke that’s the raikage fights is also weaker, gets less rage amps, and is more conservative with his mangekyo too.
Onoki caught sasuke off guard with his strongest attack, that’s not helpful since that’s hardly a feat. Now I agree that particle style would kill sasuke since onoki proclaimed it would kill even Madara (had he been alive) but his stats overall aren’t good enough and sasuke might just cut him in half before he even gets the chance to do it.

Unrelated but it's really funny when people say Danzo scales to Sasuke even though Sasuke low-mid diffed him 10 times in a row while exhausted and only got spooked when Danzo literally killed himself lol
Pretty funny when people don’t actually read the source material of the fight.
Danzo is consistently fighting sasuke cqc and is only getting pressed when his susanoo is out.
Sasuke used up his entire mangekyo’s life span in one fight (something meant to last for years) to kill sasuke.
He’s also fighting base Danzo who’s holding back as stated by 2 reliable sources and himself. He has the luxary of shairngan precognition and shairngan rage amps unlike Danzo.
And despite all this is left to a standstill that results in both receiving fatal wounds.
Sasuke wasn’t mid diffing danzo.
This was an extreme diff fight that would have resulted in a tie has the circumstances been more fair to Danzo.
Sasuke also wasn’t exhausted. Karin was healing him in the kamui dimension for presumably hours given the change in settings from the fight with the Gokage to the fight with danzo.
Sasuke was spooked at izinagi alone and Danzo wasn’t scared of sasuke until he ran out of izinagi.

danzo is one of my favorite characters, i'm glad to see him get some spotlight here
I enjoyed Danzo and the way he was used and handled in the series. More feats for him would have been nice but this would take away from the mystery factor of his jutsu nor was there any narrative or in story reason to let him live after his fight.
I think part of the bittersweet feeling comes from Danzo being one of the few "realistic" shinobi to act as a foil to the majority of the cast.

I hate Danzo for all shit he did, but also really enjoy that he is the most realistic villain of the show. Politician, leader of his own CIA, and terrorist in one person(with a really cool design on top of that).
As much as Danzo is underrated, I agree that theres no chance of him beating prime Orochimaru cause Danzo believed he never surpassed his rival Hiruzan which includes old age Hiruzen that was roughly equal to a not prime Orochimaru

Orochimaru got destroyed by 13 year old Itachi, Danzo has a hashirama amped mangekyo capable of taming the 9 tails. Danzo looks at him and he’s dead.

Danzo > (Early Shippuden) Hebi Sasuke > Sasori. There is no way Sasori scale to Danzo if Sasori cannot beat Hebi Sasuke.

@@Shadowsmoke11 Sasori would thrash Hebi Sasuke, tf. He has no way to continuously counter Sasori’s poison. While it’d be easy for Sasori to dodge his attacks. The only way I see Sasuke winning is he can summon Kirin and Sasori waits for him to use it like Itachi did. Because Sasori could easily just snipe him while he’s preparing the attack.

Danzo never blitzes Saskue and couldn't even damage Saskue with a punch, who stood there unfazed. Danzo is also fighting a weakened Saskue from his fight at the summit, who's MS is constantly weakening Saskue (even in his fight with Bee it causes him a lot of pain to use it).
Deidara fought a Saskue with more chakra (Orochimaru absorbed) and a Curse Mark 2, which has to be faster than this weakened Saskue with an MS that causes him pain every time. Deidara was even relative to Ohnoki, who was actively trying to kill Deidara because he was bombing the stone village, and fought as an edo. I just don't think Danzo is fast enough to blitz Deidara off rip, and none of Danzo's wind style seems to be faster than Chidori, the ninetails KN0 or Ohnoki. The wind style that hit Saskue was a FATIGUED Saskue from the summit.
Sasori scales to the third kazekage and is portrayed as relative but possible a bit weaker than Sanin (Sasori was portrayed as a rival to Orochimaru, Chiyo a rival to prime Tsunade) and to get past the downplay- Sasori would've killed Sakura had it not been for Chiyo, who is definitely as strong or possibly stronger than this Kakashi, as fucked up as that sounds. Sasori would start in his Hiruko puppet, and the first Izanagi would be used breaking this. Many people incorrectly assume the third kazekage puppet would come out next, but Sasori would probably summon his puppet army first, and Danzo would either figure out Sasori is a human puppet and needs to strike the core or he would not know that is Sasori's true body and repeat the same mistake. Whether you think Danzo has 9 or 8 Sharingan, Sasori can now move his core far away from Danzo while controlling his army and kill Danzo 9-8 more times. Baku would beat the army, but the third kazekage would beat that. I guess Danzo could win in this situation, but even in his fight Sasori was able to move his core to a fallen puppet body.
Kakazu would probably lose all of his hearts since they aren't particularly durable but he would be able to protect himself from the wind blade and he would be able to physically kill the Baku since he ranked a paw from the two tails . Izangi would work on him easily since he got beat with the same shadow clone technique twice in a row, but after that Danzo is getting his ass beat.
It's great you clarified the speed tier list, and you made quite a great observation on how the Chiyo and Sasori may scale to the Sannin. I think that Chiyo far surpasses Tsunade, in part given how Chiyo continuously stalemated Hanzo of the Salamander during the 2nd Great Shinobi War. Now, even if Sasori takes out the Third Kazekage puppet first, which is debatable as you say given Sasori was called Sasori of the Red Sand before ever killing the Third Kazekage, Hanzo in all likelihood would attack Sasori instead of the puppets in a second use of Izanagi, as even Chiyo had not suspected Sasori being a puppet himself. Here, Sasori would get more information on Izanagi, and reconstitute, and recover whatever set of puppets she was fighting with. Attacks like Iron Drizzle would be continuous KO attacks on Danzo.
Konan can win but would depends on how she reacts and understand Danzo's ability. The Baku would suck her paper form but she could just send paper bombs to explode him from the inside, she can't die or get hurt in her paper form if she reacts in time so Danzo's wind style may or may not work. It all depends on her intelligence and ability to form a plan quick enough to counter Danzo's hacks and pressure
It's really fun to think about it, but I genuinely wonder if Danzo could defeat Pain. Since all the paths are vulnerable to surprise attacks, Danzo could try to get rid of most of them with his first Izanagi. I know Pain has a shared vision, but most of the time his paths just look ahead. If Nagato doesn't expect the atack, Danzo may be able to cut through his paths with wind style technique, that was fast enough to even damage Sasuke, who was warned about attack by Karin. Even Gakido need to see technique to absorb it, so Danzo has really solid chance to catch most of the Pain off guard.
Probably, Tendo could react to this since he was able to keep up with six tails anyway, but if all other paths or at least 4 of them would be defeated in the beginning, I think Danzo could try his best and defeat remaining bodies before Nagato will decide to use Chibaku tansei.
Danzo shouldnt scale to Pain as a perfect sage mode naruto with prep and full intel also sage toads and toad summonings who should be relative to Dms sasuke got one shot by a Fatigued Deva path alone. Esentially what im saying is 6pop > Fp deva > Fatigued Deva > Sage naruto/toads ~ Dms sasuke > Danzo

@@moneybag2times53 Be relative to weakest tail beast in his full form (that never had any speed or reaction feats, except, maybe Ninetails) is not something to be proud of. And how genjutsu feat implies that toads is relative to someone like Sasuke in stats? Bare fact that Jiraya and toads were force to use genjutsu against weakest of paths instead of taijutsu actually is massive antifeat.
I'm sure Danzo relative to most of the paths, and gap between him and Tendo in stats not so large, since he didn't suppress base Naruto after his SM ran out. Danzo could try it if it be 1vs1 or 1vs2 spamming Izanagi for 10 minutes.

okay let's break this down quick unless I'm forgetting something majorly important:
Deidara - flies out of reach with his clay dragon and bombards the guy - neg diff for deidara
Sasori - good luck binding a puppet that doesn't need to move in order to control hundreds of puppets - neg diff for sasori
Hidan - Hidan just dead lol - neg diff for danzo
Kakuzu - I really wanna give it to Kakuzu since he's my favorite akatsuki member but this one depends on how early he deploys his hearts as weapons so imma say even match
Itachi - pff, neg diff for itachi, nothing more needs to be said
Kisame - again, I wanna give it to kisame, but this fight I can't predict. danzo can theoretically just move out of water prisons or the giant water dome via his vacuum spitting jutsu so again imma say even fight
Konan - what's she gonna do? fold some origami? unless she gets an infinite amount of prep time, she loses pretty hard here
Pain - Danzo days 0 diff
Obito - yeah well we already saw what happened to him vs sasuke who, at this point in time, was way inferior to obito

Itachi has never used Izanagi but he has used the Izanami, which is like the second half of the jutsu. So I would have no reason to believe Itachi could use one and not the other.
But Shisui’s eye is perfect Genjutsu, it’s inescapable when used and anything that happens in that genjutsu happens for real and the user has complete control. Truly broken technique 🤯

I feel like one of the reasons the Akatsuki are so powerful is that they’re all roughly lags level and they travel in pairs. You rarely see people that powerful running around with someone else on their level.
This video lowkey serves as proof that danzo doesn't actually care about Konoha. If he did, he would at least ATTEMPT to fight some of the Akatsuki
I think it's mainly due to that the story is a Shonen. The story need to focus on the main characters and put them against more powerful foes and obstacles throughout the story in each arc. Otherwise Konoha could simply send out powerful ninjas like Jiraiya, Danzo, Tsunade to take out some Akatsuki members. Things that come to mind is Kakuzu and Hidan. Why send out only Asuma and his subordinates? Should have sent out an elite squad like Asuma, Guy, Tsunade and Kakashi at the same time. But that would make the story boring and not interesting to read/watch for the viewer.

I know the movies are not considered canon but in one of the part 1 movies there is an animal summon they can not kill. What do they do? They decide that if it is an animal summoning then it must have a contract, and that if they destroy that contract then the summon is undone and the animal will disappear.
Again, I know they aren't all canon but it is possible this is how it works in canon too, we don't really know. I thought of this when I watched the movie the other day and how it might interact with the so6p summons like the dog.

Normal fight kakashi wins, fight to the death danzo wins, kakashi doesn’t have enough chakra. Can hit lightning blade about 4 times and kamui a few times and he’s pooped, danzo got more eyes then that and had a bunch of 1 shot cheap moves, also his fight style is more ruthless like going for the juggler or in sushi example his eye.
Also I’m referring to the kakashi when they were both bout to be the 6th hokage in the pain arc

Pain is probably not subseptiable to kozoamatzukami because we know itachi can't izanagi a shadow clone which would instigate that genjustu doesn't work on clones. The 6 paths of pain are just clones but with physical bodies and can be actively enhanced during the battle ad clones have to be enhanced during their creation. (Like a 50% clone or a 1% clone)

@CamCritical Shadow clones are just chakra turned into a physical form and kakashi USED a shadow clone against 30% itachi and thus we found out through diologue that you CANT genjustu a shadow clone. Pain is 6 body's being controlled through the use of chakra and are physical. Also similar to shadow clones with just more chakra

@CamCritical whether they're clones or edo tensei, the fact of the matter is that they can't be put under genjustu. Edo tensei brings the casters soul which in turn brings their chakra. As for nagato, his chakra is being dispersed among many bodies yet they don't have a soul. (Which is why even the edo tenseid jinjurikis with a soul to guide the body, were still able to be controlled by obito's chakra) Still i do agree that the means of whatever they are, are still unknown

Hidan~ I think one of the biggest problems here is that most of the Akatsuki travel in 2s with rare exceptions, so if he's fighting Hidan he is also fighting Kakazu, likely at the same time. They are almost never seen separated. The moment he "takes out" Hidan Kakazu is just going to put him right back into the fight. Shikamaru had to literally separate the two for quite a distance. In every single showing, it has been in character for them to be right there to assist if the other felt like it.
Sasori~The Sakura argument doesn't hold much weight. Sakura played her part but Lady Chiyo, a Hanzo level ninja, a mid-kage level ninja, the only rival to Tsunade at the time, was carrying that fight. Sakura met some of the requirements needed to help Chiyo win which was important. Agility? Yes. Strength? Yes. Intelligence? Yes. Medical training? Yes. She checked the boxes of what was needed but in no way was she going to put up a good showing without a legendary ninja like Lady Chiyo by her side. Chiyo fought Hanzo multiple times in her life and survived each one. Her win-loss record was never disclosed but It means something to say SHE fought him and survived multiple times. The three Sanin together fought Hanzo and barely escaped with their lives, he had to let them live. They weren't fodder then either, they were still some of the strongest ninja out there. Even Hanzo himself confirms that he and Chiyo fought. Sakura was also depicted as out of her depth right from the beginning of the fight.. literally the only reason she lasted more than a few seconds was Chiyo, and then the attacks she managed to reacted to, could also only happen thanks to chiyo's help. Sakura eventually manages against those on her own because she is specifically trained to analyze attack patterns. Chiyo herself has feats of reacting to kcm frs (flying rasen shuriken) and supersonic satetsu attacks, and of the three attacks explicitly depicted as supersonic in the manga, fks kakashi could not muster any physical movement whatsoever against a susanoo arrow, which again has been shown to be on par with frs in speed, highlighting the consistency of chiyo's speed feats. This plays well into Sasori's speed which people downplay. He was afterall able to keep up with chiyo's speed, (even when she was using two puppets and he was using one) and was able to pressure her with the speed and scale of several of his attacks, so his speed is def up there. The sharingan itself is countered by puppets, since they don't have muscles and also, puppetmasters have numbers and omnidirectional attacks, which also hardcounter sharingan users. In fact, Sakura's attack reading pattern skill is far more useful against a puppetmaster than the Sharingan. The Byakugan would be better as well tho not as efficient overall. Danzo would really be having to put in work or rely heavy on Izanagi. Sasori's poison I think is a win con though because I'm not sure if he can just Izanagi the poison away. It was a battle of circumstances as to why Sasori lost, everything was stacked against him and not in his favor, most importantly, he CHOSE to give up. I think his durability also holds up well, his core which is the only living part of his body must be destroyed to keep him down, if not he just puts his puppet body back together. Huriko's durablity is quite strong, stronger than any of Sasori's other puppets, in which Salamnder (unaltered) is shown tanking Deidara's C explosions. I think he scales to just below the Orochimaru and SM Jiraiya.
Kisame~ Izinagi is really a win con but Kisame's chakra absorption comes in handy. How much does he know about Danzo though?? I doubt he would go in without any information and Itachi or Obito could've told him something about Danzo. That makes a big difference, because he can go in with as much as a 30-40% Water clone, do plenty with just that, and observe from a distance. Base Kisame did manage to put up a good battle against Itachi Uchiha, to the point both of them would think twice about facing each other in an all out battle, but would do it if there was no other option.
Kakazu~ Hidan might be there to help like I mentioned earlier but 1 on 1 Kakazu is debatable. I agree with every point and don't really have anything to add.

@@Flows97 Zetsu loses but he's a spy/informant/mastermind, so you can hardly judge him by his fighting capabilities. Sasori absolutely beats Danzo since Danzo has no counters against his poison. And Sasori's poison paralyzes victims for some time before killing them.
Don't sleep. Karin saved Sasuke's life twice. First, she warned Sasuke when Danzō was about to kill him after one of his initial Izanagi uses and heals him after a fatal stab. Obito saved him from Reverse Four Symbols Sealing and just being there made Danzō hold back.
I swear to god. The only reason Hidan joined the akatsuki is because they needed someone Kakazu couldn't "accidentally" kill and Obito was busy.
Danzo is very smart. Sasuke had the advantage of Karin during his battle, she saved him from multiple surprise attacks, short of lighting hes a master of the basics, he's shifty with planting seals on people during combat, in any part during Danzos life, he was surrounded by the greatest Shinobi. At one point he was under command of kakashi, shisui, itachi, Danzos dark legacy as the root allowed the leaf to strong, also he prevented the Uchiha from killing everyone in the leaf

Orochimaru was scaled to be higher than the Akatsuki when almost half of them are superior to the Sanin, such as Deidara and Kisame who are VERY downplayed.
I think Danzo also gets underestimated because, justified or not, Sasuke killed him not once, but 10 times, which he only survives because he implanted Sharingan in himself. Arguably only 1 death was Danzo not counting on using a Sharingan, “valid”, but still. He was also holding back, tanking hits with Sharingan to save his real jutsus for Obito, which leaves him with some perhaps underwhelming showings, especially after seeing the other Kage. It’s understandable that’d leave him looking skilled, but like he uses what he stole from others as a crutch to keep up with the really powerful ninja. He also lost control of one, the Hashirama cells, quite badly, which also leaves an impression of him not knowing how to use his modifications.
The thing with Danzo dying 10 times is because he has to deal with susanoo for the most part, which is a troublesome technique to contend with (both offense and defense capabilities). The izanagi put Danzo in a position to last during the battle while employing some techniques to counter or break through the susanoo. Also, the death from amaterasu is a pretty tough one to escape from for most other characters too.
I agree that his enhancements were crutches for seeming more powerful and to stand among the stronger characters with far better skills and stuff. But Danzo has always been a character that would use these enhancements for the purpose of maintaining control and having the upper hand in his goals, not necessarily for combat. He probably only needed to know enough about the enhancements of Hashirama cells and the sharingan eyes to operate with them and not what to do in the event he loses control of its power. I believe the enhancements were a recent addition when he was already in his older state which might account for him not being able to fully be 100% the best with them.
The underestimation is absolutely not justified at all and is a sign of someone scaling Danzo vis emotions rather then what’s presented.
His showings while holding back aren’t bad at all if not excel the other kage’s.
Danzo is fighting against a v3 susanoo himself and doing exceptionally well even being able to damage it while sasuke while the other kage ran away and were incapable of dealing with a much weaker susanoo themselves .
The mentality that he only kept up because of powers he stole can’t be used to take away from the fact that he’s strong on his own narratively.
Via statements from kakashi or the elders or data book statements concerning his rivalry with hiruzen, Hiruzen is always portrayed to be strong.
Especially since he’s pretty much fighting sasuke at base while suppressing his chakra usage.
And at the end of the day, all the kage’s in one way or another have broken kekai genkei that differentiate themselves from other kage.
Danzo lacked one so he stole some.
By taking those eyes, he just incorporated their powers into his own arsenal to make himself stronger. He i her eyes their power and their draw backs which evens things out and is commonly done among a lot of stronger people in the series.
He is shown capable to controlling hashirma cells, just not to the extent of obtio who has a zetsu body.
He only truly looses control when he’s dying.
No body is truly ever shown controlling hashirma cells to the extent of Danzo on their own without external life forms outside of Madara and people stronger then him.
He read the uchiha stone tablet and has shown extensive knowledge of shairngan abilities with his hubris and underestimation of Sasuke being his undoing.
What prevents Danzo from using izanami along side with izanagi. Wouldn't be potentially be able to loop people after using izanami after he uses izanagi and comes back. Would his death be enough to create an izanami loop?
Danzo isn’t really the kind of person who should even be capable of using Izanami considering he’s completely delusional.

I think your speed scaling was way off for Danzo. Unless the manga changed something from the anime, Danzo isn't able to blitz 5 Kage Summit Saskue. Saskue just fought at the summit and was already damaged/weakened, explaining his fatigue later on. Even in his fight with Bee, Saskue demonstrates that using his Mangyeko takes a horrible toll on him. Saskue is arguably slower than he was before as Hebi Saskue with Orochimaru absorbed, as he struggles to fight his opponents without relying on the Amaterasu or Susanoo rib cage. His other jutsu are there too, but the Susanoo is Amaterasu are definitely carrying him throughout fights as his body struggles to hold the MS. Kakashi reacts to this Saskue to protect Sakura, and no names like Chojuro at the time are able to take shots at him. Even though he's this much slower, he still chastises Karin for being so slow she was taken hostage.
You've also used the strongest interpretation of Danzo ever, wanking his data book feats versus what he actually did. Danzo never blitzes Saskue, but does dodge the Susanoo arms which are slower than the arrow and any other technique Saskue has, just manifesting the armor itself is fast. The first thing Danzo does at the start of the fight is punch Saskue in the chest, who doesn't even move or flinch. So Danzo basically needs the wind blade to actually do damage because he's physically not that strong that even weakened Saskue no sells the punch. His wind style jutsu are fast, but Saskue never gets hit directly, just nicked once by the bullets, not even the wind shuriken, but it doesn't do much besides papercut Saskue. Danzo also struggles at mid range- the fight was close range until the Susanoo forced him back, and he couldn't dodge the arrows, but his only counterplay was Baku really. Let me reiterate- none of wind style actually DO anything to the Susanoo, just move it around a little. We also never see how far Danzo can Izanagi but it isn't far, because if he could get closer to the Susanoo weakness the first time instead of using it like twice when he's been shot at by the arrow, he would've. So no long range Akatsuki are at risk except Konan lol
I make it pretty clear he’s only really relativistic when Sasuke is outside the susanoo, I never use the word blitz if I recall, with his own speed + izanagi he can work in mutual strike. Everything you said I made some note of in the vid

Kakuzu's hardening won't be active if he's under the curse seal, which should be very easy for Danzo to set up given speed disparity. Same for Orochimaru and Kisame. Itachi would get outlasted against Izanagi, his chakra reserves are poorer than Sasuke's, Danzo is literally his worst matchup.
Danzo is mad underrated because he lacks flashy abilities but impressive speed + izanagi hax + curse seal is a lethal arsenal that not many can counter.

Danzo activating Izanagi from getting hit with 2 shuriken doesn't mean he died from them. Death was never necessary component to activate it.
I don't think any supposed Rinnegan resistance is why Koto is not a threat to Pain but that you're injecting a chakra into dead body, not "real" body. Thus Nagato wouldn't be affected and genjutsu of high caliber would be just waste of chakra.
Karin didn't help. Just healed sasuke preventing the battle to be a double k.o. or a danzo victory.

Danzo no diffs up until sasori and deidara. Sasoris poison and deidaras explosions would make him start running through sharingan. Then once he hits itachi and kisame hes toast. Hidan and Kakuzu are easy for him. Tho it depends on the order how far he makes it. Itachi is mid high diff but probably a win for a fresh danzo.

@@pepballer6375 this was Danzo before he had izinagi, he had no reason to risk his life and the lives of his men. Pain genuinely thought that Hanzo was a threat to him and was disappointed to see how weak he was in his old state. Since Danzo was causally able to walk into the hidden rain, Hanzo obviously has respect for Danzo since the leaf as far as we know only sends stronger people as messengers with kakashi being an example.
