Something about Zabuza and Haku that I could totally see happening is the two of them ending up as the only survivers of the battle field, at this point Haku would offer up his life to Zabuza and tell him to cut him down. However, Zabuza is human now and with tears in his eyes, he would cut himself instead and sacrifice himself for Haku, just like Haku did for him back in part 1. Not really a power scaling related note, but if this was a spinoff written by Kishimoto, I could definitely see this going down.

Pakura’s Scorch Style ability hard counters all of the reanimated Mist Swordsmen, Zabuza, Haku and Mangetsu who is made of water since she can just instantly evaporate him turning him into steam. The Scorch orbs hovering around Pakura prevents any shinobi to get close to her.

For Muu vs Gengetsu, I just view it as Gengetsu being a near perfect counter to Muu. I mean, how's Muu gonna hit someone with particle style if he can't detect them? I believe Gengetsu's genjutsu might be potent enough to be above Muu's sensory perception. That's the explanation that makes the most sense for why they stalemated in my eyes.

I think it's a bit of a bias and head canon from you to just dismiss the 2nd mizukage stalemating Mu to just him beating a fissioned version if Mum Mu's sensory might be good but there is no statement backing up the fact that he can sense the clam. For all we know, the mizukage could not see him and Mu couldn't find him so they could have eventually taken each other out after a long battle of attrition. The downplay is wild
Yes Gengetsu should not be that far off from Mu. Saying that they both taken each other out was a clear way to show that they are in same league. The problem comes from the fact that Mu was hyped in a LOT of way. The Gokage was like "yeah, this guy is different, Ônoki must go on the battlefield", the army chose to engage Mu first because they thought he was the strongest, and he was some sort of a favorite of Kabuto (considering he consistenly directly used Mu). In comparaison, from where did Gengetsu cames from ? From a comparaison with Mu ! The Gokage wasn't scared in the slightest by him, no intervention of Naruto was needed, his abilities were handle more easier than Mu''s. Gengetsu's portrayal is supposed to put him at the level of Mu, and Mu's portrayal is supposed to put him ahead of the level of Gengetsu, if that makes sense.

Great video and shoutout to Virhtue for great analysis. You guys knew what u were talking about. I will say Deidara scales to Hebi Sasuke in speed and that’s not debatable. There’s a lot of things that go into speed and so if he was able to fight him and react that’s enough to say he’s relative but slower. That’s how Naruto fights work there’s physical speed, run speed, attack speed, jutsu speed, jutsu casting times, etc. I know it might be a little glazing but my boy Deidara is on that speed level just if we take in all the factors, otherwise it wouldn’t have been an even fight, especially because he’s not a tanky fighter like Gaara or someone who got blitzed by Lee but had durability to tank the speed blitzes. So Deidara has to be fast to some degree because otherwise he would have just been stabbed due to not being tanky. He’s just not a hand to hand guy that’s all Kishimoto was going for. Think about it like this: Sasuke has a knife, Deidara has a gun, put it’s in his holster. There are certain ranges where having the knife is more effective and faster naturally because it’s too many motions to draw the gun aim and shoot. So when they first fought, he dodged, he pulled out the gun in time, and he flew up. We know Sasuke is faster but there’s nothing saying he’s not relative especially considering Deidara isn’t hand to hand and literally fights with bombs that can’t be used close. That’s just a difference in styles. They are still relative.

I would still give it to Kimimaru because the Hanzo that was brought back was not the one with all the lore backing. Plus even with the poison Kimimaru can travel underground and do a bone field with is arguably the largest AoE attack only contested by Hanzo’s poison most, but Kimimaru’s ability to materialize in any of the bones is such haxx it Carrie’s him pretty far.
I think it would be super cool if they had that final fight of Mu vs Haku, where haku has to keep darting around and avoiding damage while whittling down a guy that can one shot and is around the same level of speed

Edo Itachi with his Susanoo’s Totsuka Blade was extremely OP sealing Nagato instantly after stabbing him. Itachi himself could solo a majority of the reanimated shinobis with the exception of Madara and Hashirama.
You're not looking at it the right way if he was trying to win Itachi wouldnt just seal them he would control everyone he could and use them against those two if he doesnt get Hashirama with Genjutsu too that is
Gengetsu’s clam cannot be sensed it can only be found by touch. It’s found in the data book and the Naruto wiki. So the argument that Mu can just sense out Gengetsu is wrong.
It’s never stated it can’t be sense in the databook, but I will agree it’s not the strongest argument. It should be possible since Munis a step above any sensors in that unit, especially with the Steam Imp noted to give Mu trouble.

It was not until after the clam was destroyed that the ninja was able to find him hiding behind the rock. It was in the panel with onoki explaining how Jocki boy works. So kinda proves my point that while the clams jutsu is activated sensory techniques do not work. I would post the panel but I can’t post a photo in the comments I think it was page 28 or something but it definitely is in the manga showing he cannot be sensed while the clams jutsu is activated.
Yeah so that would legit just go back to show that the clam can't be sense by regular sensors, there's tiers to it. Not all sensors are = some are far better like Mu. An example of this being applied is when Mu used Fission none of them sense him as well. It's very clear the regular shinobi sensors in the alliance. I'm opposed to the clam not being able to sensed, it just should be noted Muu and other notable shinobi are far above the run of the mill sensors in the alliance.

Also it’s his ability to make himself disappear. I’m not saying he’s not an incredible sensory type ninja. However your theory that the clam can be sensed by muu is pure speculation where as I have concrete evidence that shows Gengetsu and the clam cannot be sensed while his jutsu is activated. 🤷🏼♂️
A couple things I super hard disagree with but, regardless we can just agree to disagree since I’d prefer not to half a paragraph war, so we’ll just keep it moving.
20:53 my theory on Muu vs Gengetsu is that they both had perfect intel on each other from past battles and gengetsu stalled Muu by hiding in cover(maybe under water) and using the steam boy and constant ranged genjutsu to fuck with muu. Gengetsu can’t see muu. Muu revels himself when he has to attack. so if gengetsu keeps putting mirages out, he’ll see where Muu is attacking from. Muu can normally sense where people are, so gengetsu must have hid in something. For example He hides in the gold pyramid and lets the steam imp do the work. Muu bothered to tell Onoki about it so we know the imp was the offence used against him. So yeah I’d say since gengetsu is from the same water people clan as sugetsu, and his summoning is an aquatic creature, he was probably hiding underwater where Muu would reveal himself/be at a disadvantage if he followed. It would make sense gengetsu forced muu to split and killed a half, which made him think he died together with muu. But really muu tricked him, but if one half dies, muu ultimatley dies some time after.
Hey man big fan but I think everything you said about gengetsu isn’t accurate 1. How can he be less powerful then Mu if Mu himself considered Gengetsu a worthy rival, it even states that they battled multiple times until they killed each other but yet you still say he’s more powerful they’re both equal 2. Nothing proves nor states that Mu was able to sense gengetsu and his clam.In the fourth division they had sensory type ninjas and they couldn’t even find the clam, even Mu states that Onoki had sensory skills but it just wasn’t as proficient as mu was so therefore they couldn’t sense where the real clam and gengetsu were 3. You’re assuming that the steam imp is just as fast as the particle style which there is no proof to prove it. we can see other wise onoki being there with gaara didn’t even use particle style to get rid of the steam imp, even Onoki states that the steam imp is what gave Mu trouble every time they fought. Gaara with Onoki fighting mu wasn’t impressed by mu speed or reaction speed but when the steam imp came along gaara was very quick to state how fast it was and how in order to beat it he needed to slow it down. I can see why it gave Mu trouble every time, you have a oil/water clone that is super fast and It grows and grows continuously until it explodes and it does this infinitely
Hey appreciate the support I'll preface by saying we covered Gengetsu in our Gokage vs Gokage vid so I'd def recommend checking that out. 1. We never said he was more powerful but, were leaning into the idea his arsenal was more suited, I also mention at the end of the section that they do take each other out. 2. This is fair enough 3. The Steam Imp is actually objectively slower than Particle Style as it's able to be blocked by Gaara's Sand consistently or is just blatantly faster. The Steam Imp point could also be in reference to the AOE effect of the Steam Imp or Steam Imp + Clam Combo, but regardless Particle Style actually does display better feats being more comparable to Kyuubi Naruto which the Steam Imp hasn't displayed as Gaara was capable of blocking the explosions. Gaara also had seen Particle Style before + was witnessing the Steam Imp for the first time so it makes more sense he'd just make an observational statement that it's fast. The thing is with Mu is that he couldn't just spam particle style like he was doing as Edo so it'd make more sense why he'd struggle with it a lot while being alive. I will say part of the reason we just didn't go into depth here is I went into full length on all of the Gokage in this video ua-cam.com/video/Mf4U7CniSLo/v-deo.html and did not want to just rehash points, but I will say I prob should have spent more time on Gengetsu like some people have mentioned.
Mangetsu wa the last edo to stay, like Kimimaro. It's a feat and a clear indication of the author about his abilities, he was absolute elite. So imagine him with many swords in his hand, like Hiramekarei or Samehada... This guy was kage level, like Kisame

I feel like by the war arc, Hiashi only has experience over Neji and Hinata, and a much larger chakra pool than Hinata. Actually, there is someone who's got a better chance at winning than Mu. The demon himself, Madara.
Rasa stalemates a Gaara that is stronger than when he beat Deidara. Deidara is somewhat relative to Hebi Sasuke, Hebi Sasuke is stronger than the Taka Sasuke that fought Bee. Bee is obviously stronger than Gyuki by himself. The 3rd Raikage's claim to fame is fighting and stalemating Jinchurikiless Gyuki, which means you could say Taka Sasuke is stronger than the 3rd Raikage. With this chain of logic it shows that Rasa is stronger than the 3rd Raikage.

I haven't seen this big an undersale of Sasori since the "But he lost to Sakura"-people Did you both forget Sasori doesn't need a puppet to win since he can literally manipulate things w mass with his chakra strings? If Deeidara's bonds can be touched without them exploding,he can throw them back,or he can latch himself unto the bird. Etc.
Deidara could quite literally detonate the birds at any time during that along with having extensive knowledge on Sasori’s abilities. Sasori quite literally has none of his abilities and is beyond nerfed as an Edo, there’s nothing to undersale because he’s a fragment of his FP
Particul style is too upscaleed here. Madara's 3rd stage Susanoo was literally standing in the middle of biggest Particul style ever made from combined 4 Kage, without sustaining a single scratch. Then Madara transformed Susanoo to the final stage and said I actually rivals the Biju, which also means in durability. I don't think it's doing anything to the Bijus at all.
The Perfect Susanoo is vastly above the other Bijuu and is shown as a rival to the Nine Tails which is also ~ to the Wooden Golem. There is no way to argue the Bijuu scale remotely close in durability aside from the Kyuubi. Madara’s 2nd Stage Susanoo was literally fighting the 8 Tails it’s just not possible to say anything 1-8 scales to the PS. Power also does not = durability, he could literally just be meaning destructive capability.

The V3 has never once shown a resistance to the Susanoo, are you referring to the Tsunade amped version? That one shot 25 V3 Susanoo? The only other version was the pre PS that was outside the range of the Jinton attack
That's only perspective on the panel Ch.589 where the Susanoo is standing the Jinto Cube's effect is nowhere near it's feat. Madara also exits the Particle Style in the chapter beforehand continues to move out as the whole strategy was predicated on forcing him to absorb the jutsu, so not only that is he 's not even inside the technique when he initiates the Susanoo which further supports what I just said, so this line of reasoning is incorrect.
Madara would win because I am of the opinion that Madara was trying to distract Hashirama from Juubito and intentionally holding back and when he got serious he just busted out of the deity gates besides we never got to see the full fight being distracted by Juubito anyway Madara did place several of those black rods in Hashirama’s back and cracks were in his face so I am of the opinion that Madara would win and is the Strongest Reanimation.
When Madara was fighting Hashirama in that fight he said he was gonna take his sage mode from him so that he can deal with Obito. Madara seemed confident that he could deal with 10 tails obito
Nah, Haku is being overrated here, and the other swordsmen are also being underrated. They are honestly kinda trash in the anime, but that's just filler. In the manga, Kakashi's entire platoon actually retreats from the remaining swordsmen for an entire night after Zabuza and Haku had already been packed up which proves how difficult the swordsmen were to deal with whereas Zabuza got bodied right at the beginning. Mangetsu definitely wins that group, Haku stands no chance, epecially since Haku is literally just throwing ice spears at Mangetsu, Mangetsu just eats those and then using his water release for his own attacks too. If you give Mangetsu the Hozuki clan Tate Eboshi Suigetsu was using against Bee then he just stomps everyone there. Also the stuff about Kisame not being able to react to Bee is also wrong, both he and Samehada clearly react to Bee there, and then saying Magetsu being able to wield Samehada scales him to Samehada whereas Kisame isn't scaled to Samehada is...☠Dunno what you're on there bro But yeah, Magetsu is pretty fucking crazy. - Muu does slam the other Gokage but you kinda downplayed them ngl Gengetsu is Muu's equal or near equal in canon man, and Muu can't actually sense his clam btw, his clam nullifies chakra sensing which is probably one of the reasons why Gengetsu tied with Muu A the Third is kinda cooked here, ngl, he's obviously the physically fastest and strongest but that doesn't mean shit when he can't find Muu or Gengetsu, and particle style cooks him Rasa is the weakest but man, you guys really bent him over - Yeah Ginkaku is kind of a pussy, Kinkaku is stronger. Kinkaku solos here imo. Dan is pretty cracked Asuma ☠ Hizashi is pretty strong imo but he definitely doesn't win. Kakuzu was pretty nerfed in the WA imo since he had to get more hearts, probably fodder hearts tbh, so I'd say he's like 3rd or 4th strongest here - Hanzo solos neg diff, let's be real now - Honestly, Edo Jinchuriki are pretty tough to pick one out. As far as the swordsmen that’s fair although by just the manga they have quite literally zero feats barring 1 or 2. I used the anime as a way to be more generous. As far as the Samehada point the idea the point was that Semehada was capable of reacting to and absorbing chakra off of Bee’s attacks which may imply something for Mangetsu. Doesn’t mean Kisame can’t inherently nor is that what we were saying although if we maybe implied it from the convo that’s my B. It was more so for hyping up Mangetsu. As far as the Edo Gokage honestly Particle Style/Muu is just that cracked, Gengetsu is def debatable but again the whole point was that Muu doesn’t fight these 1 v 1’s was all and should have knowledge of the clan. Otherwise that’s my main gripes everything else is fair enough.

He somewhat does, the reason partially that even Gengetsu performs so bad is due to Kabuto using them shit. Example, Gengetsu can stack his clam with steam amps and use the genjutsu offensively(stated) yet never does due to Kabuto leaving him on auto pilot. It goes for all the Edo Gokage Kabuto just fumbled them.

For Muu vs Gengetsu, I just view it as Gengetsu being a near perfect counter to Muu. I mean, how's Muu gonna hit someone with particle style if he can't detect them? I believe Gengetsu's genjutsu might be potent enough to be above Muu's sensory perception. That's the explanation that makes the most sense for why they stalemated in my eyes.

I think it's a bit of a bias and head canon from you to just dismiss the 2nd mizukage stalemating Mu to just him beating a fissioned version if Mum Mu's sensory might be good but there is no statement backing up the fact that he can sense the clam. Yes Gengetsu should not be that far off from Mu. Saying that they both taken each other out was a clear way to show that they are in same league. The problem comes from the fact that Mu was hyped in a LOT of way. The Gokage was like "yeah, this guy is different, Ônoki must go on the battlefield", the army chose to engage Mu first because they thought he was the strongest, and he was some sort of a favorite of Kabuto (considering he consistenly directly used Mu). In comparaison, from where did Gengetsu cames from ? From a comparaison with Mu ! The Gokage wasn't scared in the slightest by him, no intervention of Naruto was needed, his abilities were handle more easier than Mu''s.
Gengetsu's portrayal is supposed to put him at the level of Mu, and Mu's portrayal is supposed to put him ahead of the level of Gengetsu, if that makes sense.

Great video and shoutout to Virhtue for great analysis. You guys knew what u were talking about. I will say Deidara scales to Hebi Sasuke in speed and that’s not debatable. There’s a lot of things that go into speed and so if he was able to fight him and react that’s enough to say he’s relative but slower. That’s how Naruto fights work there’s physical speed, run speed, attack speed, jutsu speed, jutsu casting times, etc. I know it might be a little glazing but my boy Deidara is on that speed level just if we take in all the factors, otherwise it wouldn’t have been an even fight, especially because he’s not a tanky fighter like Gaara or someone who got blitzed by Lee but had durability to tank the speed blitzes. So Deidara has to be fast to some degree because otherwise he would have just been stabbed due to not being tanky. He’s just not a hand to hand guy that’s all Kishimoto was going for. Think about it like this: Sasuke has a knife, Deidara has a gun, put it’s in his holster. There are certain ranges where having the knife is more effective and faster naturally because it’s too many motions to draw the gun aim and shoot. So when they first fought, he dodged, he pulled out the gun in time, and he flew up. We know Sasuke is faster but there’s nothing saying he’s not relative especially considering Deidara isn’t hand to hand and literally fights with bombs that can’t be used close. That’s just a difference in styles. They are still relative.

I would still give it to Kimimaru because the Hanzo that was brought back was not the one with all the lore backing. Plus even with the poison Kimimaru can travel underground and do a bone field with is arguably the largest AoE attack only contested by Hanzo’s poison most, but Kimimaru’s ability to materialize in any of the bones is such haxx it Carrie’s him pretty far.

Edo Itachi with his Susanoo’s Totsuka Blade was extremely OP sealing Nagato instantly after stabbing him. Itachi himself could solo a majority of the reanimated shinobis with the exception of Madara and Hashirama.

Gengetsu’s clam cannot be sensed it can only be found by touch. It’s found in the data book and the Naruto wiki. So the argument that Mu can just sense out Gengetsu is wrong.
It’s never stated it can’t be sense in the databook, but I will agree it’s not the strongest argument. It should be possible since Munis a step above any sensors in that unit, especially with the Steam Imp noted to give Mu trouble.

It was not until after the clam was destroyed that the ninja was able to find him hiding behind the rock. It was in the panel with onoki explaining how Jocki boy works. So kinda proves my point that while the clams jutsu is activated sensory techniques do not work. I would post the panel but I can’t post a photo in the comments I think it was page 28 or something but it definitely is in the manga showing he cannot be sensed while the clams jutsu is activated.
Yeah so that would legit just go back to show that the clam can't be sense by regular sensors, there's tiers to it. Not all sensors are = some are far better like Mu. An example of this being applied is when Mu used Fission none of them sense him as well. It's very clear the regular shinobi sensors in the alliance. I'm opposed to the clam not being able to sensed, it just should be noted Muu and other notable shinobi are far above the run of the mill sensors in the alliance.

20:53 my theory on Muu vs Gengetsu is that they both had perfect intel on each other from past battles and gengetsu stalled Muu by hiding in cover(maybe under water) and using the steam boy and constant ranged genjutsu to fuck with muu.
Gengetsu can’t see muu. Muu revels himself when he has to attack. so if gengetsu keeps putting mirages out, he’ll see where Muu is attacking from.
Muu can normally sense where people are, so gengetsu must have hid in something. For example He hides in the gold pyramid and lets the steam imp do the work. Muu bothered to tell Onoki about it so we know the imp was the offence used against him.
So yeah I’d say since gengetsu is from the same water people clan as sugetsu, and his summoning is an aquatic creature, he was probably hiding underwater where Muu would reveal himself/be at a disadvantage if he followed.
It would make sense gengetsu forced muu to split and killed a half, which made him think he died together with muu. But really muu tricked him, but if one half dies, muu ultimatley dies some time after.

1. How can he be less powerful then Mu if Mu himself considered Gengetsu a worthy rival, it even states that they battled multiple times until they killed each other but yet you still say he’s more powerful they’re both equal
2. Nothing proves nor states that Mu was able to sense gengetsu and his clam.In the fourth division they had sensory type ninjas and they couldn’t even find the clam, even Mu states that Onoki had sensory skills but it just wasn’t as proficient as mu was so therefore they couldn’t sense where the real clam and gengetsu were

You’re assuming that the steam imp is just as fast as the particle style which there is no proof to prove it. we can see other wise onoki being there with gaara didn’t even use particle style to get rid of the steam imp, even Onoki states that the steam imp is what gave Mu trouble every time they fought. Gaara with Onoki fighting mu wasn’t impressed by mu speed or reaction speed but when the steam imp came along gaara was very quick to state how fast it was and how in order to beat it he needed to slow it down. I can see why it gave Mu trouble every time, you have a oil/water clone that is super fast and It grows and grows continuously until it explodes and it does this infinitely
Hey appreciate the support I'll preface by saying we covered Gengetsu in our Gokage vs Gokage vid so I'd def recommend checking that out.
1. We never said he was more powerful but, were leaning into the idea his arsenal was more suited, I also mention at the end of the section that they do take each other out.

3. The Steam Imp is actually objectively slower than Particle Style as it's able to be blocked by Gaara's Sand consistently or is just blatantly faster. The Steam Imp point could also be in reference to the AOE effect of the Steam Imp or Steam Imp + Clam Combo, but regardless Particle Style actually does display better feats being more comparable to Kyuubi Naruto which the Steam Imp hasn't displayed as Gaara was capable of blocking the explosions. Gaara also had seen Particle Style before + was witnessing the Steam Imp for the first time so it makes more sense he'd just make an observational statement that it's fast. The thing is with Mu is that he couldn't just spam particle style like he was doing as Edo so it'd make more sense why he'd struggle with it a lot while being alive.
I will say part of the reason we just didn't go into depth here is I went into full length on all of the Gokage in this video ua-cam.com/video/Mf4U7CniSLo/v-deo.html and did not want to just rehash points, but I will say I prob should have spent more time on Gengetsu like some people have mentioned.

Particul style is too upscaleed here. Madara's 3rd stage Susanoo was literally standing in the middle of biggest Particul style ever made from combined 4 Kage, without sustaining a single scratch. Then Madara transformed Susanoo to the final stage and said I actually rivals the Biju, which also means in durability.
I don't think it's doing anything to the Bijus at all.
The Perfect Susanoo is vastly above the other Bijuu and is shown as a rival to the Nine Tails which is also ~ to the Wooden Golem. There is no way to argue the Bijuu scale remotely close in durability aside from the Kyuubi.
Madara’s 2nd Stage Susanoo was literally fighting the 8 Tails it’s just not possible to say anything 1-8 scales to the PS. Power also does not = durability, he could literally just be meaning destructive capability.

Nah, Haku is being overrated here, and the other swordsmen are also being underrated.
They are honestly kinda trash in the anime, but that's just filler. In the manga, Kakashi's entire platoon actually retreats from the remaining swordsmen for an entire night after Zabuza and Haku had already been packed up which proves how difficult the swordsmen were to deal with whereas Zabuza got bodied right at the beginning.
Mangetsu definitely wins that group, Haku stands no chance, epecially since Haku is literally just throwing ice spears at Mangetsu, Mangetsu just eats those and then using his water release for his own attacks too. If you give Mangetsu the Hozuki clan Tate Eboshi Suigetsu was using against Bee then he just stomps everyone there.
Also the stuff about Kisame not being able to react to Bee is also wrong, both he and Samehada clearly react to Bee there, and then saying Magetsu being able to wield Samehada scales him to Samehada whereas Kisame isn't scaled to Samehada is...☠Dunno what you're on there bro

He somewhat does, the reason partially that even Gengetsu performs so bad is due to Kabuto using them shit. Example, Gengetsu can stack his clam with steam amps and use the genjutsu offensively(stated) yet never does due to Kabuto leaving him on auto pilot. It goes for all the Edo Gokage Kabuto just fumbled them.
