I think this style lock is the best all all worlds and can't wait to be on other pre-existing versions of other knives. I just wish we could all agree to call it something common like the "crossline" lock or something. It utilizes the traditional "liner" but the actuation "crosses" the scales and blade path.
There's all kinds of ways to wrap in and out that makes some cool looks. Otherwise, the easiest way is to do a rope "whip" you go down back and down the handle lengthwise in sort of an S then wrap the whole way and when you get to the end you poke the tail into the hole loop thats left then pull the other end and pull the tag end under the wrap to lock it all together. That's a terrible description but there's probably videos out there.
I trully do wanna see what Kizer does with the compression lock, I really wanna see a lil native competitor and with all these companies having the ability to do the lock ITS JUST SO FUN TO WAIR

The Grouper is a kinda Shilencutter. A TLL Divo is going to be sick. I like some plunge locks, but not when I can get a real detent. Can't wait Kev.

My Grouper had an ultra strong detent. But the beauty of a liner lock is that it can be adjusted. Now it’s got a light detent.
