Mine constantly turned on and ran when I shut the door but table didn't turn and light didn't come on. I ohmed out all the switches ,everything checked out good. Watched dozens of vids on what could be wrong, then came across your video. All I can say is "I can't believe it!" Pulling the ribbon cable out and resetting it actually fixed it! I would have never thought. I was about to give up and buy a new one. Thanks for taking the time to make a vid and show what to do.
Hello, sir! Thanks for this video. In my case, it seems there is a short circuit elsewhere. Now I’m thinking of disassembling the entire keypad unit. I’m wondering if the other end of that ribbon could be shorting.
Nice tutorial! I have a slightly different model that looks the same in appearance, but it worked all the same! Currently working fine now (fingers crossed)
Damn didn’t work for me. Same buttons are still out, but it was worth a try. I ordered a replacement control panel from Amazon. A new one was $180, I bought a used one was $60 (can mail back if it doesn’t work).
You could try but it might be tough to do it. Never tried because it's really not that hard to remove them. Let me know if you were able to if you try. Thanks.
I have the same exact model and having the same problem. I didn't disconnect all the connections I was able to reach the ribbon without unplugging all of them. It worked for one use perfectly and then it started doing it again. Any ideas, I wiped the ribbon with a paper towel. Is there any kind of solvent I should clean the ribbon with? Should I have unplugged all connections? Thank you
I reallly appreciate this video! I was able to get it working again, but unfortunately I can't get the top grill back on. It won't slide all the way over to the right, even with the tabs in the right positions. Did anyone else have this problem? Is it ok if there are gaps if I can get it almost to lock in, does anyone know?

Thank you, well done
Thanks it has seemed to help many.
Do you absolutely need to remove the blue/red/white attachments, or could you just try reseating the ribbon?

@@billwill3680 I was also able to reseat the ribbon without removing the connectors.

It doesn't always fix the problem forever I ha e heard that sometimes it comes back. You could spray with some electrical cleaner and try again.
Worked for me😊!
Great
