i love being over leveled and getting more into the story of the worlds, but i couldn't imagine doing them on every single wizard. Im spacing em out so im only gonna end up doing them on 2 of mine. I'd rather gouge my eyes out than do the same, necessary defeat and collect quest 6 times
Personally I like doing all the Quests, including the Side Quests just because it’s more fulfilling to me that way. It gives you more of an idea how the inhabitants of the world feel and it can be pretty interesting.
Arturo Ramirez its not wasting time. It's getting more immersed in the world, the Spiral, getting to know the vibe of each world to understand it. The worlds in the Spiral are really an art. Exploring, doing side-quests in each world expands on that art.
I do the side quests because if the lore, and you do get housing items, gear to sell, etc. And I have met SO MANY new players skipping Aquila, Zeke quests. The mindset imo isn't a good one
I will say this: in arc 3 there are some really fun sidequests that are worth doing. However, if you don't do any sidequests (including wysteria, grizzleheim and wintertusk) on arc 1, you don't get to level 48 by the end of dragonspyre. I think they dialed back exp with the nerfs cuz I just finished arc 1 on my balance and I only got power nova after doing a bit of wintertusk. Doing sidequests in khrysalis helps you get to darkmoor earlier. Those are the reasons I would recommend doing sidequests and sideworlds
I do side quests for badges (basically all the Polaris side quests) training points and spells. When I was much younger I did every single side quest up till Avalon. It took me months to finish one world.
For my first time I’m going to do every side quest I find. I spend more time in the worlds I live and get more immersed into the game. Sometimes it can be tedious but it’s fulfilling to finish all the quests in a world
why not get gold and xp and also progress through the game, if you want to level, just do main. side quests dont last forever and are only good if they give a spell like the Azteca sharp and potent quest
I love the side quests for the lore, enriching the story of each world, the fun references from the real world KI throws in, sometimes there are cool bosses/creatures unique to side quests, some nice drops and spell benefits...all in all I find side quests fun and an enriching part of the game overall despite a few here or there being a little obsolete. The boost to leveling is also nice, especially for Ice (my main) as this significantly helped me be better equipped for higher worlds as Ice isn't the most damage-heavy school going into each world without side quests.
I feel doing the side quests in the early worlds (Wizard City - Dragonspyre) to get your level 48 spell is worth it. Those spells are still used till this day in combat in later worlds and since they’re all now aoe, it’s worth doing them in the early game.
I only do the important side quests like crafting quests, spell quests or sun or star or moon spell quest or side quests to level up to 44 to be able to get the quest to go to celestia
I did all the side quests on my first wizard up through the first arc. I stopped after that because I was super overleveled. I hit 90 (when that was the max) at the end of Zafaria I think.
What would be really interesting is a video that explains all the side quests you SHOULD do! (Like for example crafting and quests where you can get good gear)
Side quests in Wizard City, Krokotopia and even a few in Marleybone I find really enjoyable. Side quests in Azteca and Khrysalis...that's a different story
i think it is necessary to do SOME, because i remember when i was trying to unlock celestia, i wasnt high enough level even though i had already finished dragonspyre, so i had to go back and do some sides before i could continue lol.
I do 90% of all side quest just because what's the hurry to max? Ive been playing sense 2009 and still haven't hit max on any of my guys I did lose my first account so that's part of the reason but it's just more fun for me personally
*EVERY*sidequest ( literally every. Marleybone - astral society and helephant tower - im serious - if it was a quest - i did it. In empyrea and just arrived. 128 I do it cause ocd
when I quested on my ice, i couldnt stand how little damage it does and how little damage the gear gives so I made a quint damage with mighty socketed pet and decided to do almost all of the side quests so I could have darkmoor gear in Azteca making questing way easier
My balance is doing every side quest, which I really should have thought out better because balance is so slow in solo questing. But I would feel bad backing out now so... rip
The only sidequests I’d recommend are Zeke & Eloise Quests, esp the easier ones, The Khyrsalis Orb Quest if you like the game’s lore, and there’s a random side quest in mirage that gives 45k gold.
I actually do them. Right now I'm currently working on my last wizard and for the first time, I'm actually reading the story line lol. Most of the quests, main and side, are actually pretty easy. I did them before because I thought they were fun to do. Also, they make questing so much easier so I can level up and get my spells faster. At least this is just my opinion. Not everyone likes doing sides. Most don't do them. But I do. The only ones I didn't do was when I got to mirage and empyrea. (Haven't done the new world due to not having access (crown player) and also thinking the world looks dumb. I prob will do it with my new storm though).
Side quests give you good gear. End of story, i see many with WW or Wintertusk or Zigzag gear so ye I solved the answer to your video as in to why people do side quests.
i used to do EVERYTHING. But then I'd have to beg to get my new spells in new worlds.. and I'd need help with weird stuff for side quests... it's not worth it once i got efficient.
I currently have a death wizard where I'm doing every side quest (except the fishing ones I just can't be bothered) and it's been a huge amount of fun. Worth it? Right now I'm in celestia at level 63 which is pretty neat and makes questing easier, but it's also a death wizard which is great for soloing. Either way it's reminded me of how I played when I was a kid and has been a ton of fun, so.
I love how nobody does side quests because they are a "waste of time" but people still pet train. You cant really fail a quest like you can with pet training and the rewards are guaranteed. Like what will really make the game easier, being over leveled or having that extra 2% damage from a perfect pet?
Hey phantom I just recently got back into wizard and have been watching your videos a lot and I’m in the second world and bought some crowns.. I’m currently level 25 ish I believe, and I’m not sure what would be the best thing to buy from the crown shop as a low level wizard ? Can you help
I mean I do on my main but that meant that I had to wait forever to access some of my school spells. Also it means I'm about level 108 or something when I finish khrysalis
In the new wizard city are there side quests that are important if yes which one and also can someone tell me all the important side quests that would be really helpful
can I get this game on my MacBook Pro? I want it on my Mac but it’s only says windows on steam. Btw i dont game wit a MacBook I have pc but I want to play wizard101 sometimes in bed
no you should just quit and do something more productive in real life find ways to make money because once you grow you will for get about this game and the money you spent and hrs spent sitting on a chair to waste i

I agree. I like side-quests. ☺️
Mmm so I see u like waisting ur time

@@nathaniel04 no you're wasting your time
Side quests are only ok when they the sharpen blade and star quests in Azteca

Exactly. I love the story and I feel like doing side quests helps you get more immersed
I just collect side quest while i am questing so that a get a bit of extra gold and exp so i level up faster

@@jameliusiii8409 i understand but if someone asks to defeat some golems and the main quest asks to defeat some golems then why not just do it.
Looking back, I cant believe I did all the side quests in Marleybone including that annoying ass Abigail Doolittle’s.

I did all side quests up until wintertusk and Celestia. I started Zafaría at lvl 68

I always combine side quests which align with the main quest like killing 3 trolls in the main quest combined with killing 2 in the side quest
Me who was level 50 before starting dragonspyre: Yea i'd say so
I only do the important side quests like crafting quests, spell quests or sun or star or moon spell quest or side quests to level up to 44 to be able to get the quest to go to celestia

That makes so much more sense I was so confused why you were in cyclops lane for almost 3 hours

not everyone has that question some of us want to do every quest

yep!
The only reason I do them i because I am a completionist- I will do it once, but thats about it
Level 46 inside marleybones free to play
I don’t like having side quests in quest book so I just do them
hah... im never gonna do side quests i don't have the patience or energy to deal with any more defeat and collect then i already have to lmao
don't need to, don't want to...
Then how are you gonne get stronger if your struggling at one quest?
There's a side quest to open the sun school witch is important
I have done every single side quest in the game on my ice.
who is max and has finished the titan fight and finished catacombs.
Here my Idea to all player do all side quest at Wizard City to Dragonspyre so your prepare for Chapter 2 cause those monster Hurts and Crit
I did every single side quest in wizard city just so that my level was slightly higher in krok.
