@@positionsprincess Very well said there. First thing that came to mind is when mirror lake farming and the spiders are all storm and you have a storm hitter easy first turn kill 👍🏾
Hey man just wanted to let you know that I only recently got into wizard101 and your videos have been my go-to when I have questions about something. Thanks so much for making these
Once I got to Celestia on my death wiz, I toured the Arcanum Apartment and accessed the Panopticon in Arcanum. I was able to talk to the Astral Spell trainer to actually be able to see all available Astral spells so I knew what I was getting into, which I think is a good tip for new players! Also great job on the videos, keep it up :D
I've always wanted to know every spell. One of my friends had me TP to the librarian and said BEHOLD YOUR FOUNTAIN OF KNOWLEDGE. I forgot TCS even existed lol. But is it possible to know every spell from every school?
Sad. Guess I will have to buy a ton of TCs then. With how Kingsisle is pushing secondary schooling, do you think there will ever be a meta that involves speccing into a second school? It's a cool concept, but I'm curious as to how you'd encourage it. What would KI have to give Stat wise to make it worth the price?
@@snidlin At lower level pvp having a mastery amulet and hitting with 2 different schools is not uncommon. This is because there is gear at those levels that is top tier/close to top tier (warlord and commander gear before level 60, specifically) that give enough damage universally. Even if level 100+ got usable universal/multi dmg stat gear, there is still the huge gap in what cards you can learn for the second school. TLDR at levels
Note: if you're not in life school, tc satyr is far more resourceful. Additionally, you can always wield secondary school hits with treasure cards, in the situation that prisms don't work because they cast the shield of their opposite school. I recall using storm shark tcs and vampire on my balance to deal with balance enemies, and it did help until I finally got spectral blast.
Just got back into the game and loving your channel and content (mad respect for the daily uploads). Also I wish I got Feint first but glad getting tower shield wasn't a terrible idea.
For pvp I've used every single one of my training points and I have all the training points in the game. And I still don't have enough for roshambo spells so I have to buy them back and respend all of them. And I didn't waste any of them. Every spell I got was a useful spell. For example I trained thunderbird (9), extraordinary (8) and all the dispels (6). Just those three spells cost 23 training points and they are all very useful.
One thing I Would get if you have extra training points is the card donate power from the balance professor in the arcanum. It can be useful sometimes. Basically, if you have a fail pip and you use Donate Power you keep the pip you spent and get another white pip for free. But personally, I spam my way up to saytr so I don't get embarrassed using the fairy spell
Not a single person said something in the comments, which I am surprised for, about Aegis and Indemnity. You get them from the arcanum and they're a must have for cheating bosses and some myth and storm bosses that like to remove your blades often!
Video suggestion: How to make dual school viable... Because why should there be a fixed guide for every wiz to play the game similarly? Isn't that the issue with school identity?
Feint is a level 26 death spell able to be trained by Dworgyn in Nightside. It has a +70% damage to enemy at the cost of a +30% for you, costing one pip. This can be incredibly useful, as usually if you have good stats having a +30% on you won’t be too harmful, and the AI kinda sucks. On top of that, later on you can feint stack, which is the ability to put multiple feints on enemy by using things such and potent traps and tcs. Tower shield is a level 16 ice spell that negates 50% of all damage on the next spell that targets you. It is useful because it is all-encompassing and not type specific, and costs 0 pips.
So 1 point every level? That’s way too much in my opinion. I think the amount they give us is a decent amount since it makes you really think about where you put your training points. If they gave us 2 points every 2 levels then there would be no point in the training point system since everyone would have every spell anyway.
mass prism is a must have too!
your school's mass prism doesn't take training points.
@@cadester123 true but training another school can be good for some builds like death jades having mass storm or fire prism

Balance mains: "I don't have such weaknesses" (not the fact that we don't want or need one, just the fact that we literally don't have one)

I don’t believe so. That would take more training points than you have to do.
no

I wouldn’t say it’s more resourceful, far from it considering the card Satyr is forever and tcs are temporary. Tcs can definitely be useful though.
That’s what I definitely do to save on training points. TCs is definitely a good way to go by

idk about training all the dispels. you can get tc dispels.
I’m level 27 and haven’t spent one yet thanks for this really needed

Sorry, but technically you would use pixie because fairy is life school only. Sorry
@CableTvTomato oh yeah. Sorry about that. Forgot Tcs exist and other stuff.
Ngl training Stun Shield from Diego has came in clutch multiple times
What if I am death school. Do I get tower shield and just stop in raven wood after that?
