There is something so poetic about Boba Fett serving Darth Vader. Like the Clone Wars are over, but a Fett clone still serves Anakin. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
The thing is, Boba Fett wasn't necessarily loyal to the Empire or Darth Vader in particular; he simply sold his services to the highest bidder, which usually tended to be the Empire. He also tended to side with whom he felt was the winning team, and that was the Empire at one point. Thus, their relationship was more professional than personal; he didn't so much love the Empire as much as he loved their money. If anything, his time with the Tusken Raiders in the Disney Timeline gave him the opportunity to allow for more personal relationships and loyalty to certain individuals, culminating in him helping Din Djarin rescue Grogu for free and then trying to build a criminal empire out of the ashes of Jabba's former organization based on respect instead of fear. And if we delve into the Expanded Universe/Legends Timeline, he gets married, had a daughter (who in turn gave birth to his granddaughter, Mirta Gev), kind of buried the hatchet with Han Solo and the Jedi (even assisting them in several battles during the Second Galactic Civil War), and even trains Jaina Solo to defeat her twin brother Jacen (who fell to the Dark Side as Darth Caedus).

Yep. Vader kept serving Sidious for all those years cause he felt he had nothing left and he wanted to bury the memory of Anakin Skywalker cause he was ashamed. But when he found out he had a son, and not just his son, but Padme's son, the spirit of Anakin was reawakened
This is outstanding!! Straight out of the comic! Hope you'll do other key moments like when he was surrounded & when Palps sent him back to Mustafar. 🔥💯
You could honestly make your own movie at this point and it would be better than literally anything that has come out in the past 7 years. Disney needs to learn from the fans and clean house. Amazing video man!
@raulh5457 I’m aware but appreciate the respect bro. I just think it be cool to see some things from the comics too. Like when Vader said all he is surrounded by is fear and dead men.
I feel the voice is slightly better, it just needs that kind of filter in his voice to make him menacing, also, I love the revenge of the Sith remake of that scene
What did Palpatine lie to him about? Sheev didn't know Padme survived Mustafar or that she gave birth after. All he knew was that she died. "It seems, in your anger, you killed her" was a pretty reasonable conclusion based on the info Palpy had at the time and is exactly what Yoda etc. wanted him to think.
First of all, I am - as many have rightly said before - SO glad to have found your channel. It's wonderful! Secondly: it is SO COOL that you picked this sensational moment from the comics for a "live" adaptation! That choice alone tells me of bravery and expertise. Now. I am not trying to advise you, because you deserve all praise for taking on this project - I am simply putting things up for debate here: I always imagined a lot more palpable emotion in this scene when reading the comic. For Boba Fett, I always imagined a dramatic pause between "just his name" and "Skywalker", and the name being said with some cheeky expectation of how Vader would react to it, with a slightly guessing tone indicating that Fett might have some suspicions about who Vader might really be. The crowning moment then being Fett's "that will be all, then", said with noticeably more conviction about his own suspicions as well as a big portion of nonchalance, as he quickly realizes that Vader is stunned by the news and no threat to him (right now, at least) and that Fett has done a pretty good job. And then there's Vader of course. But really I think we all feel what he is feeling when reading the comic. So I guess take his suffering on Mustafar while burning alive ("I HATE YOU!!"), pair it with his more majestic style he shows as a mechanical Sith lord and add some greed for power from Palpatine... that might be good mix. Again, thank your for that scene! As you can see, it gets my Star Wars nerdiness kicking!
You know you would think that Obi-Wan wouldn't have allowed Luke's last name of Skywalker to be applied to Luke and would've instructed to have his last name be Lars just like Orgena was given for a last name for Leia. Vader wouldn't have been able to find out that Luke was his son in the first place had Ob-Wan done that and I thought keeping that knowledge a secret was the point.
Honestly... it doesnt take a genius. Skywalker... should have suggested two things. A radical move by the rebellion to suggest the old skywalker is alive and is a fraud. Or padme had a kid without anyone knowing. Ben... fooled vader one last time.
hmm... this was a little disapointing. still, kinda cool to see it somewhat come to life in animation but no where near as good as my imagination or the comic, which... that is where this scene comes from right? Yes! Made miniscule changes and only one flashback but is canon
Back in 2015 it was shown both in the monthly Star Wars and Darth Vader comics. It was a cool crossover moment.

That's because this is an AI of Jones's actual voice. The person voicing him in the game can only copy his mannerisms and tone. Big difference.

Not the best one. Boba Fett sounded too upbeat, the scene with the emperor felt rushed, and it didnt really end properly.
Surely Vader would have more questions for Boba Fett? Why would he just let him go without saying a single word?
Because Skywalker is a famed name. The last Skywalker was Anakin. Anyone carrying that name could only be a descendant
A bit of shock from what he heard, no doubt.
