Obviously UA-cam sticks ads in the middle of songs to annoy us into buying Premium. Having them pop up at the end of a song is actually worse because the song may have been building up to a climatic ending and then you're suddenly jerked away to a commercial message. Anyway, as a Reactor, you should have Premium, otherwise YOU WILL be seeing ads in the most inappropriate spots. Good reaction on this song, btw.
UA-cam sticks ads at the start of videos but we as creators have the ability to 1. opt in or out of mid roll ads and 2. choose where EXACTLY they are in the video. My point is not that ads are annoying in general, it is that the label could choose to put them in the least intrusive place (like just after the final note or a second set just before the song begins) but they don't.

The timing of UA-cam ads REALLY sucks. They are, I'm sure, deliberately annoying - not to mention free of practicing standards! But I am NOT paying for premium, mainly BECAUSE of this.

You tube is trying to destroy music by ruining the experience. Microsoft and apple lead the way. None of these can produce 20-20k Hz in their platforms. It sounds like a decent boom box instead of hq digital sound, which should rival the older gigantic home stereo sound, even arena and stadium sound . It cuts into their profits and doesn't match their effed up business model .😮

Son i am led zeppelin fan and pink floyd . I have seen most bands .see acdc kiss 3x deep purple live, but this band live are the best i have seen .and i am 71 .🤘🤘🤘🤘

For me, this evening at Wacken 2013 was the concert of the decade!
This is the third and current singer, Floor Jansen. Only with the band ten months here and joined mid tour with two days to learn the setlist while travelling from The Netherlands to the USA. This is probably the best rendition of this song that the 82,000 had heard as most hadn't heard Floor sing with Nightwish. At this concert she sang 14 songs all written for previous singers and totally nailed them. Plus there is one instrumental piece.

When you want to go further on the path of our 1.83m (6ft.+) tall Dutch Valkyrie Queen Floor Jansen besides Nightwish, here is some background information on the best and most versitale female singer of our time. Floor joined the band 'After Forever' in 1997 at the age of 16. Here are some of my favourites: ‘Energize me’; Monolith of Doubt’ and Dreamflight’.
Floor attended the then new Rock Academy in 1999 and graduated in 2003. She also studied 2 years at the Conservatory (1 year Music Theatre and 1 year Opera).
'After Forever' disbanded in 2009 and Floor started her own band 'Revamp' from scratch. Here she experimented with different vocal styles within one song from full operatic to death growls in seconds. Here are some examples: ‘Misery’s no Crime’, ‘Wild card’ and ‘Disdain’.
Besides managing a band on her own she also did a lot of vocal coaching and as she is a perfectionist, she wants to do everything at 100%+. Eventually she had to pay the price and got a burnout. She had just recovered when end of september 2012 the call came from Nightwish to fill in for the remainder of the North American Tour at first as their second singer Annette got ill. Floor had just 48 hours to learn the whole setlist. There is a documentary made of this world tour: ‘Please learn the setlist in 48 hours’
Floor joined Nightwish after this iconic Wacken concert in 2013 as permanent member of the band. Floor continued to perform with 'Revamp’ also, but it was clear that she could not combine the two for much longer, so 'Revamp' disbanded in 2016. Floor did a side project called 'Northward' where she dived into the Hard Rock scene. The song 'While Love Died is a must see.
Her stunning performances on the Dutch TV show 'Beste Zangers 2019' gave her at last some more recognition in her home country where she was relatively unknown until then. There are numerous guest appearances with other bands to find on UA-cam. To see how to get a crowd of metalheads silenced and in awe watch her featuring with the band 'Epica' and the song 'Stabat Mater Dolorosa’ and to see her in full opera mode, watch her rendition of 'O Mio Babbino Caro' from Puccini. As live concerts were cancelled and home isolation due to the Covid situation, Floor discovered UA-cam in these years. Mindblowing covers, chats with her idols and other singers, vocal masterclasses, personal insights and so much more. She even made a video reacting to herself singing Ghost Love Score at Wacken. Lots of technical info and some memories of her starting with Nightwish.

Her latest endeavour is her stunning solo album ‘My Paragon. Floor is a high sensitive person, so peace and quiet is as important for her. Living by the woods in Sweden with her husband Hannes Van Dahl (drummer of the band Sabaton), daughters Freja (turned 7 years this march) and Lucy (born last october) ,a couple of horses, dogs and cats, she found this.

Great reaction to one of our absolute favorite live performances of all time! This small portion of the NW Army enjoyed watching from northwest of Houston, The Woodlands, Texas, USA. Every artist on the stage is phenomenal, and so respectful of one another during their entire live performance at this festival, and we’ve watched it in its entirety. Our only regret concerning this performance is that there wasn’t a separate camera focused on every artist so that we could go back and view them performing this individually. Jukka (percussionist) is a machine! However, at times it’s as if he’s performing a graceful ballet. The time signature and key changes in the movements of this entire score are amazing, and really show Tuomas’ composition brilliance! You mentioned the contrast between smooth vocals and heavy metal reminding you of Evanescence. Another band I’m reminded of that does something somewhat similar is Muse, especially in the chorus of “Uprising.” Again, Hubby and I enjoyed your reaction,…and some additional comments as well. Lol 😂

Any song from the Wacken 2013 concert is fantastic. Check out Storytime and Romanticide both from this concert you will love them.
Enjoyed your reaction. This is a different singer from your reaction to Crownless. Like your approach of not getting to sucked into the lineup change debates. Floor (the singer here) is the most versatile singer I have ever heard. She is able to sing in a classical style, rock, musical theater and even deathetal growls. Tarja , the previous singer you heard, tends to sing mostly in a classical style although she had developed her contemporary voice towards the end of her time with Nightwish. I enjoy all 3 singers and they each have songs they shine on. For follow on songs some of my favorites are Poet and the Pendulum, Greatest Show on Earth, Shoemaker, and Dead Boy's Poem. You might want to react to more songs before Poet. It deals with some band history around their firing their first singer and the subsequent fan backlash. Also recommend doing a little research into the backstory to get the full emotional impact of the lyrics. If you prefer going in blind then I respect your choice.

There is an epic,symphonic performance of ""Higher"" song Devin Townsend Project gave at the Plovdiv stadium. It is an epic ,heavy,brutal masterpiece! You should watch it.
We're also ready for battle, with our Valkyrie Floor as our general!😉 Their music is very diverse, from Epic songs like this to real raw metal and beautiful folk songs.
The London Philharmonic orchestra is at the background with the symphonic instruments. You can hear them in many more songs.

Mid song ads are UA-cam standard operating procedure...it's a real buzzkill.
I've a strong policy of boycotting their products. Even if it is a product I like, it goes immediately on my "never again" list. If all of us did the same, maybe the ad agencies would get the hint and place their adds before or after the song.
