Great find! I used to take my son out fossil hunting, a few good finds in our region, mostly bi- valves. That was 25 yrs ago. Nice of you to post and remind me of our adventures in our Tilly Hats. Thanks👍
Excellent work once again, Mr. Mamlambo! Always enjoy your channel, it makes me keep my eyes on the ground when walking along, you never know what you will find :-D
Your YT channel is just great. Your preparations are very well done. I would also like to prepare a crab egg like this! I mainly prepare fossils from the Solnhofen limestone. Best regards from Germany
I have 4 small concretions , one of which almost certainly contains a crab. For a beginner with a small project load what air scribe would you recommend? I would also be using it to clear some softer matrix from some exogyra I have. Thank you!
i live in charleston sc, ive heard you can find megalodon and other teeth around here but i have no idea where to look. this is an exciting rock though, excited to see what the future scan shows
Honestly, I could watch these videos non stop, but I doubt my pc could take that. Always love your prep videos!
Thats awesome Morne! I hope there is more teeth in that rock for you! Good eye and nice find!

Defiant to the end, rest well little crab.

Lots of great fossils in your area!
It varies by English speaking region, but in the US crayfish are freshwater and lobster is saltwater.
Thanks! I always forget which is which!
Nice
Thanks!
To find fossils like this and ammonites what type of beach would I need to go to with what type of rocks thank you?
Where do you get your rocks CT scanned?
Is it just over time the rock forms over the fossils?
I made a video showing one theory: ua-cam.com/video/MazOeBDnfHc/v-deo.html
