Why is it that you do not use Greek to interpret what the scripture says, in the trans-illiteration of the word in order to be hermeneutically correct and have consistent exegesis of Canon, with an Honest Systematic Evaluation, you must use it's original meaning. there are no disqualifying scriptures that you can use that changes it's original meaning. Petros means rock, and since Jesus was talking Peter, there is no other interpretation that can be properly determined.

He opened the doors to both. The Jews first then the gentiles. Peter opened the doors with his preaching of the gospel
Also it was Peter who opened the doors to the kingdom to the gentiles when he preached to Cornelius house hold.
