THANK YOU SO MUCH! No one I have dealt with has been able to speak to this issue as you have!! You hit, honestly, all the key points in the dissertation! I am so, so grateful…as my beloved daughter NEEDS to hear this. She’s been without a period for almost 2 years now. 19 yrs old. She talks about her fears of being infertile, so I know she’s concerned about her health and realizes there’s a problem. Thank you so much, I’m praying she will watch your videos!
Thank uou for sharing your story, i can realte to your story so much. I am working on period recovery with a HA nutritionist. We have made massive changes to my diet and excercise. I am five weeks in and seeing lots of good signs. I just need to stay consistent and even order a menstrual cup in the hopes thag i get my period back soon. Sending love x
I would love to hear more about your thoughts on the whole Western world food surplus thing and even about intermittent fasting? Im sure you know about how so many people nowadays talk about how evolutionarily, we were meant to fast and not eat so much and all that stuff but I’d be curious to know what you think about that in relation to HA! Loved this btw ❤
Hi Dani, is it normal to have gut issues(like fart too often :D) when ı'm in the recovery progress? (I think it's happening because my system still not get use to my new life style) Update : ı lost my period again,(by the way for 4-5 months its has been regular and then it went irregular and lastly it stopped. My weight has increased as never has been, ı'm eating without restriction. But ı'm working out so much for competitions and ı think it's related to stress and isolation
Girl, did this ever stop and did you get your period back? (I am going through this right now like excessive gas, weird bowel movements and just like bloating)
@@chloewalsh4586 Yes ı got my period back after ı started to gain weight(now ı'm at the same weight that ı used to get my period). I can't say it's perfectly regular,it depends on my physical activities, relationships both for emotional and regular(u can think this as "how does my behaviors appears ,do ı feel like asocial, asexual etc.)
Hi there! I still haven't got my period back but have been working on it for a few months and gained some weight. Initially it was really really bad (especially during my eating disorder). I was gassy 24/7. But it has gotten A LOT better with eating more and eating less raw foods (I was eating 1-2 huge bowls of salad a day, now I don't have salads everyday and if I do, more as a side to my main meal). So.. hang in there! It does get so much better :)
my mum was bmi 19 when she got pregnant with me, and my familiy is often "more likely in bmi 19.21.", so what now? and i had anorexia 15 years down to bmi 12. now bmi 21(?") , no sport and i eat 2300 kcal
None of that information is as relevant as you think. It sounds like the best move for you to do is get someone to look specifically at you as an individual and your case NOT compared to others around you! It's got more to do with your eating and weight and lifestyle relative to oneself VS your family or friends that are similar to you. It's helpful to see other peoples stories to an extent to understand the mental factors and timeline factors, but it can't be the main focus.
and i have a friend who is smaller then me and eats after recovery in a health weight range minimum without sport or plannend movement. more likely below 5000 steps. is this realstic also for me?
Regardless of how similar you think you are to another person, try to remember all the ways you are different. I have no idea your full story, height, weight, history of eating etc so I have no idea if it will be realistic for you.
I also skipped the provera challenge the first time my ob prescribed it. LOL. So stubborn. 😅I was prescribed it again, did it, and failed the test. 😂 (for context, I’ve been recovered for almost a year now and I’m pregnant❤)

I am very interested in this. We talk about this in our certification too: holistichapractitioner.com
I love this update Dani! 🙌
is it possible to heal at age 48? and can you heal eating a plant based diet?
Not sure you'll have a good time stacking both of those factors together - from what I've seen.
@@DaniSheriff so are you saying it’s impossible to heal over 40?
@@laurenmigdon4976 nope, just saying that things get harder as you add things like plant based diets on top of the healing process

would you say that calorie calculator in the internet are mostly way to low?
Yeah honestly they are rubbish!
Just got back my period after a year. Eating very high fat carnivore made it come back within a month
Animal fat and protein is where its at!
@@DaniSheriffI'm so sad again, I got my first recovery period but i didn't get the second or 3rd despite gaining a bit more weight... Is HA permanent
Is it now better? Sending you love@@CutiePie232
