ZR2 all day long. Front and Rear selectable lockers, much more advanced DSSV shocks, high clearance front bumper, more ground clearance, etc. In my opinion the ZR2 also looks much better than the Tremor. Once the 3.0L Duramax is available in the ZR2, that would make for a perfect truck!
U make a good point!!! Personally I’m not a big fan of the zr2 front end. I think the GMC has a better looking front end
See, I'm just the opposite, I don't dig the gmc front end. Plus, they are getting way higher in price. AT4X is over 80 now.
The inside is so much better in the ford trust me I was gonna get the brand new at4 but then my dad did so I went with the tremor and I’m so glad I did I find so many pros over my dads truck

@@MS-mr4zm Oh that's cool. Raptor was never part of the comparison/conversation, it's not even in the same segement as the Tremor/ZR2 is.
Drove both that were similarly equipped, here in canada they are similar in price as well.

Motor, tranny, and suspension are best I've been in and I've been in some nice rigs.
Some quirkiness work infotainment system cutting out occasionally.
Gonna get the 2500HD Duramax ZR2 soon.

I put the borla exhaust that chevy offers at the dealership, nice deep rumble , especially on start up !
I crossed shopped both and ended up with the ZR2, just looks so much more aggressive and has better interior

My Tremor gets 18 City all day long. Tremor with 402A package is the way to go. So much better looking than the lower model. Not a good comparison Ben with the lower model Tremor. It's orange BTW.
As much as I Love the Tremor, I don't consider it really on the level of a ZR2. I tend to put it more on the Trail Boss' level. It's trying to be an in-between for work and play not a dedicated off-road monster in my mind
This is true - a better comparison would have been with the Raptor or Raptor R
@@toddolson7273 That wouldn't have been apples to apples either. The ZR2/AT4X sit in between the two segments. In my opinion, the ZR2/AT4X is more closer to a Tremor than a Raptor.

Ford hands down. That towing and payload is sweet and the towhooks on the gm truck are weak and not a closed loop 😂 found out yesterday they unfold and break on a 2022 at4 🤭
I've had both. I'd take the Tremor any day. Paint on the ZR2 is trash and the 6.2 lifters are still an issue.
Interior on the ZR2 is much nicer though.

At the moment...GM makes the best off-road designated trims with the ZR2 and AT4X.
I like the way the ZR2 looks in the front. I do like the Tremor though. If I could afford a Raptor, I'd take that.

ZR2 doesn’t directly compete with Raptor nor Tremor, it’s a package in between.
Need to compare to the 402a package on the Tremor. Many more meaningful features with the Ford. The ZR2 front end is really ugly.
You do know the ZR2 is the competitor against the Raptors and not the Tremor right? The Chevrolet competitor to the Tremor is the Trail Boss. If you want to do straight across comparisons it’s
1) ZR2, AT4X, TRX, Raptor
2) Trail Boss, AT4, Rebel, Tremor
ZR2 is not a competitor against the two baja type trucks. Super charge that 6.2L and widen the body and then it will be more of a competitor.
I'm a Ford guy but that ZR2 looks way better IMO.

I'd take the Tremor with a 5.0 l.. Cleanest and cheapest engine to run. Winch capable. Also the Torsen front diff is way better then the ZR-2's useless front e-locker. The Tremor also has Trail Turn Assist like the Bronco, the ZR-2's turning circle is outrageous.

I think a more accurate comparison would be a Tremor and Silverado Trail Boss. The ZR2 is more comparable to the Raptor.
This is not a Fare comparison. The ZR2 is the top of the line compared to the F150 Tremor which really is not the top of the line. Now compare it to the F150 Raptor to the Silverado ZR2 and you have a Challenge.
ZR2 is just behind the regular raptor and more between Tremor/Rebel & RaptorR/TRX. Pricepoint is roughly 75k so the savings over the raptor can make up the few HP difference & you can supercharge the ZR2 which will put you just under 700hp for about 10k. Also the ZR2 has the electronic locker front, which will pull it ahead for practical off-road.
