James is now over 60 and still sounds awesome! Listen to anything off the newest album 72 seasons. 40 years of METAL
Welcome to the Metallica family!!!!!!
Metallica performed at Woodstock '94 in Saugerties, New York. And if you really wanting to see more fan energy check live Seattle '89 performances
They said that’s the best concert ever but I saw the same show 4 months earlier ‼️‼️ 4/16/89
Repeating; it is mandatory for you to see these guys live on stage….just go see them….2 hours 15 minutes that will be printed in your memory for eternity and that will change your perception of stage performance / stage control….only downside is that you will kick yourself permanently that you did not see them before 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘…and now get on with the albums in chronological order 😉
I think he needs to see Moskow 1991 for the feel of who they are!!
My first concert in 1998. It was amazing.
Metallica did a cover song by Queen called Stone Cold crazy you must react
Bring earplugs.
Absolute truth! I’ve been listening to them since the mid 80s and I’ve seen them live several times over the years. My first time was when they were opening for ozzy!!l the last time was in 2018 and I took my sons (17 and 22 at the time) it is still my best mom memory to this day! My 17 year old bounced the whole way back to the car after the show screaming that I was the best mom ever! I’ll never forget that!
The studio version of that song... the last 30 seconds... best riffs ever imo.
That was the worst solo I’ve ever heard in this song
The current Metallica tour is pretty expensive but you get two night back to back with them with no repeats, and Pantera are opening.
Btw, Seek and Destroy was a song on their first album, Kill Em All released in 1983.
You gotta see them!! 18 times, man. Each one has been different and special. I had the privilege of growing up near the Bay Area, where they're from. They have announced more 2024 dates. Go!!
I was there that night, we drove from Montreal 235km to see them again and the video doesn't give a good vibe of the audience because the sound is too loud but we were screaming like hell, you had to be there to know it
I went to see them in Auckland in 2000, it was absolutely fantastic.Even Air New Zealand blacked out the planes on the flights from Wellington to Auckland as there were so many flying up for the concert. Aircrews were wearing black shirts etc, about 90% of the passengers were wearing black. Just Awesome.
You have to watch the SEEK AND DESTROY SEATTLE 89. You want energy, thats energy. Great reactions Brother
I just saw them last weekend in Detroit and they still kill it. James sounds better than ever
Lux Aeterna! It's new and sounds just as hard and fresh as anything they've done... Just a blast!
Love all these Metallica tracks. Reminds me of my teen”s growing up in the day banging my head to all this 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Reaction to Blackened of metallica 🤟
As a singer and a guitar player James is awesome but what make me crazy it’s how he entertains people! Love that!
Please react to my favourite Metallica song Fade to Black, I really suggest you the Live 2022 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Incredible sound, video and of course performance
I love your content, a friend from Italy 🇮🇹
Very nice choice for live reaction! Keep going with the live versions, I think that shows them at their best. Another pick from this same concert in Quebec, song called "The Day That Never Comes". It's nice song, which evolves nicely from beautiful to heavy, as you have seen in some of their songs.
The version from “Francais Pour Une Nuit(?)” is a ripper too - love the venue in that video.
Favorite Metallica song
I'm 56 I've seen them 5 times. 2 of which was taking my sons to see them. Awesome music, better live
I grabbed one of those beach balls from that tour. At the Sydney show - although a few people tried to grab it off me! I’ve still got it deflated in a cupboard somewhere 😂
You're almost up to 50k now!! Yeah!!
I can't remember how many times I've lost my voiec to this song, either live performances, or in my own home (sorry neighbours!)
This is my fav song by them 🩷
I just seen them Sunday 11-12 in Detroit Michigan they played this song the show was awesome
I was hoping you were going to do this live version! I mean, there are better live versions of the song out there, but it's worth watching this one just because of how it shows the fun-loving side of Metallica that we don't get to see very often.
This song traditionally is the last song of their encore. You have to go see them live if you get a chance. I have seen them 11 times since the beginning. To me the best band ever. Tons of hits, longevity, and stupendous live show.
My favour version live is Fromm 1988 Hammersmith seek and destroy. And justice for all tour. Heavy and polished but raw. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
You definitely need to see them live! I've seen them twice, in '91 for ...And Justice for All, and in '19 on the Hardwired tour. Both times were simply amazing!
This song Seek And Destroy comes from Metallica. Kill Em All album put out in 1983 , when I first heard this song it blew my mind . I had to go out and buy a cassette became a Metallica fan after hearing Seek And Destroy !!! 🤘🔥🎸💯...
Band is up in age too here!🔴
fun fact, metallica was the first band to tour on every continent
The lead guitarist Kirk Hammett has some amazing artwork on his guitars! He is a horror buff and they reflect that!
Right on, man. Search &&&&& Seek & Destroy
Oh hell yeah! Love it especially going back to Kill em All!! Thank you for another great reaction, can't wait for Ghost and did you listen to Yellowolf featuring Kid Rock. Let's Roll ?
Not yet but I’ll definitely listen
Hello there... I don't want to keep bugging you, but I will... but I really want you to react to Metallica live Mexico City, Disposable Heros or All Nightmare Long! I'm begging you!! The energy is absolutely 💯 INSANE! Please 🙏 🙏 please.
Welcome to the Metallica family ❤
Also, since I've seen them throughout their Career 18x, I can tell you, they're Way better live!! Like no other! They bring it!! Hopefully, you react to my request? I'll wait & beg..lol. I really enjoy your reactions & I Love Metallica. They're my favorite band of all!! ❤ thanks!🎶🤘🎸🖤
Metallica actually did do this song in Moscow.............. you should check that out; outdoor concert kinda thing
Get yourself to Madrid in July. I'm flying there from Scotland for another two Metallica gigs. 🤘🏼
I know you’ve already reacted to the studio version of Disposable Heroes, but you should definitely check it out live in Mexico City

Metallica did play Woodstock, but later iterations. I think my favorite version of their song "For Whom the Bell Tolls" was from their Woodstock '94 set. If you check it out, make sure it's 7:30 seconds long; that's the full version. I've always used this one to hype me up for a swimming competition or something similar; it's a banger (or should I say... another banger!) I wasn't at that show, but I was 4th row center stage for their final show on the Black tour in August in Miami, Florida. They're amazing live, if you get the chance. Rock on. 🤘
Congrats on 9k subs bro🎉
Thanks 🔥
I saw these guys open for Ozzy on their Master of Puppets tour at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit and blew the roof off that place! It was Amazing! To be able to say I saw them live back in the 80s is a badge of honor for me because I actually survived the war they waged on all of us. I'll never forget that night! Crazy, just crazy
Ok so this one is tops for me because I have a distinct memory of my first time hearing it back in the mid 80s. From that day and for the rest of my life Metallica will always be my obsession!
This song is from their best days, Metallica was at their best in the 1980s. One thing as old time Metallica fans know for sure is that voice of James has mellowed out a lot over the years and that’s part of their decline because he doesn’t sound nearly as aggressive as he used to.
Funny, I was watching another MetallicaA performance a few days ago and thought it was dope that the stage was in the center as well. 🤘🤘
I heard this with Cliff Burton(RIP) playing the bass
Another great reaction🤘🤘not my favorite song but def a staple. Let's keep it going
10k on the horizon!!
this is one of "MUST"s on every live 🤟
I got a balloon when they played in Arlington, Texas back in August. I fought hard for it. I caught it first and everyone around me knew it and let me have it. 🤘
(the guitars like the one James plays in this video - and plays almost always guitars like that - is called "Solid Body" ... )
Bro, you NEED to experience A LIVE show! Any show! It's something you'll never forget and never regret. 🔥🔥
You need to see them with the San Francisco symphony orchestra. They done 2 sets of gigs with them 20yrs apart. Watch Bleeding me from the 1st S&M and The Outlaw Torn from S&M2 you wont be disappointed
HELL YEAH!!! Now you see why you have to listen to the "Kill Em' All" album first!!
can't wait for your reaction to "To Live IS To Die" of the ...And Justice For All album \m/
Do Whiplash live Seattle 89!!! Pure speed.
Two great performances of "one" are the grammy performance and the on in slane 2019
you must go to a concert, it's insane
thanks for your reaction--you should definitely watch Master of puppets from this same Québec magnetic show--amazing if you like interactions between the band & the crowd--I was there for the whole show and it was an amazing evening. I went to their shows 5 times (1985, 1993, 1998, 2009 and 3 months ago)--I was never disappointed. The best place to enjoy is in the middle of this crazy crowd, if you ever get the opportunity. Have a nice day & see you next time.
🤘Seattle 89 version
You have to do For Whom The Bell Tolls at a day on the green mate ! Cliff Burton was a bass God 🤘🏻
Memories! The tour i went to in sydney Australia ❤ dont remember the masks thought
Anything between Metallica 88-94 live is the best live performances youll ever see imo
I could be wrong, but i think it was this Quebec show where they filmed their "official" Master Of Puppets video.
They mixed in clips from a movie they produced called "Through The Never". The crowd was a little more lively for that one. Now THAT one is worth a watch.
I know you did the Manchester version (the one in the rain).....but the "official" vid is pretty bad-ass.
Like loads of people are saying, the Seattle '89 show was another one for the history books. So many epic cuts from that show.
Congrats on your 9K milestone! You're right.....I think your Metallica vids put you over the top.
Us old farts will now try to turn you on to the classic rock we all grew up with like Rush, Black Sabbath, Boston, REO Speedwagon and Ozzy (edit: almost forgot to stick Van Halen in there as well).
We're gonna try and expand on that musical "education" of yours. Your subscriber count will DEFINITELY climb upward.
Great vid as usual!
Explore the live videos more. You'll be glad. Studio and live are both great in their own way.
Disposable Heroes
Prepare yourself.
that guitar though
Do me and every really Metallica fan a favor. Some hater was raggin on the boys not playing disposable HEROES live,,, personally in my top 5 Metallica songs,,,,, not only did they crush it live but it was better than studio. Check out disposable heroes live in Mexico city (Orgullo, Pasion, y Gloria) 🤘🤘🤘trust me

Seek and Destroy still sick after all those yeears...when guitar kicks ppl everywhere go wild!
Metalheads love to convert the non listener's 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘watch early live versions 😎😎😎😎✌️✌️🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I believe they just wrapped up their '23 tour and plans are in the works for next year. Keep your eyes and ears open. Hopefully they do go there and you have a chance to experience a real rock show. I saw them about 20 years ago at an arena like this one but their stage was round and rotated very slowly throughout the show so that by the end of it, they had faced everyone. It was a great gesture on their part, I thought, to go through that expense when they could've just had what they had here. Awesome journey with you. Congrats on the 9k!
Maybe at some point on your list you could go to their Death Magnetic album and give "All Nightmare Long" a listen. The official video is crazy distracting and I don't believe it even features the band playing. IDK if there is a live performance, but the album version for sure will knock you out of your chair - so strap in. Don't say I didn't warn you, like those other guys did to you. 😆
You need to check videos from the Justice for all Tour and From the Black album tour then you will really feel the energy they bring live
They actually had a concert when slipknot was first getting big, that they wore masks in support for slipknot, this may have been the concert
Fact about this song, it’s a Metallica tradition for Seek and Destroy to be the last song they perform in a concert. So this was the energy level of the band and the fans at the end of the concert. And yes Metallica played many times in England, one time they played in Manchester and it was raining like crazy and they performed a full concert under rain because it was sold out. There are videos of that concert you should react to one perhaps
You should check out To Live Is To Die. It's about their bassist that died after the release of the MOP album
Haha im catching up...nice
i hope this won't start a trend of hearing songs for the first time through their live versions..
first listen = Studio version
You can’t please everyone. A lot of people say to listen to the studio version first and same goes for live
You have to listen to the studio version of this to really appreciate any live versions that you listen to. 🙂
Do Whiplash live in Seattle 89 man.. you want crazy holy shit this will do it for ya.
Gotta check out Load and Reload! It’s so hard to choose but if I had a hypothetical favorite of theirs it would be Until It Sleeps off of load. Definitely a bit different but ugh sososo good!!
Great reaction! You should watch the live version in 1983 of seek and destroy they were only in their early twenties when they played that!
Or , the day that never comes , Gothenburg live 2023 … just masterpiece
Kirk cant even hide his hair lol
They play Slane Castle like once a year
Back in the day MetallicA would play approximately 5 or 6 specific songs that would last 20 minutes. Lol. Seek And Destroy being one of them.
12:54 - Prince Charming.
Need to check out 'The Four Horsemen' from the same album Kill 'em All
Check out Anesthesia Pulling Teeth guitar solo. Read up the the history of that solo
I seen them three times live
They are one of the few bands that sound as good if not better live than on their albums
Telling my age I seen Master of Puppets once and the And Justice for All twice
Definitely check out the studio version even if it’s on your own time. Motorbreath is another great one from their first album.
Cliff'em all......metallica video If want live stuff....
Please check out the studio version, sounds more raw 😎
You will find a big difference from the young Metallica and recent Metallica 🤔 you will notice when you hear the original studio recording of seek & destroy 🤔 I'm looking forward to it 😁
check out Metallica's cover of Elton John's Funeral for a Friend/Love lies Bleeding
Corrige la miniatura, aparece como "seek and destory"...me gusta tu contenido jejeje

Just to give you the heads up,James is the greatest frontman of all time
You should really check out some Metallica songs they did with the Symphony in 1999. You'll get massive goosebumps!!
React To The Day That Never Comes Live.
Check out November Rain by Guns & Roses. Slash does an awesome solo.
Metallica = Kings of Speed-Death-Trash-Metal for ever.Greatz from Germany/Berlin
