Even non- cases are expensive. There’s nothing more annoying than spending $30 for a case and the sound buttons don’t line up. Love how perfect this looks. I’m gonna splurge! 😂🥰

Hey man, I was wondering if you could help me out. I'm looking for a case that's on the thinner side, but still has enough lip that I can put my phone face down without worry. I also need it to have an open bottom (I want the microphones as clear as possible.) What do you recommend? Thanks and great vids!
is the camera lip/bump/protection the same size on both cases or is it smaller on the sheath than on the apple silicone?(which sticks out more?)
I also struggle with the same issue about the grip on the Apple silicone cases. It can change on a dime depending on the oils in our hands. Sometimes it’s a comfy grip. Sometimes it starts to slowly creep-slide down your hand. 😂

I have one, this thing does not budge anywhere. I have the black one but one thing keep in mind is that this thing is a fingerprint magnet if you have buttery hand like me. Don’t know if I’m keep or nothing but the fit will definitely check if Tee decides to review.

@@eduardosoto6997 the fit is really nice. A little looser around the buttons and charging port but still really nice tight fit. I’m impressed. And I’m picky about my cases. I have a screen protector on and still have enough to protect the screen if I put the phone face down. Well worth it imo

My problem with silicone cases is that they are dust and lint magnets and they pull pockets lol

I paid $35 total for my Apple silicone case (tax included) because I had an Amazon gift card. I like my case, but yea it’s slippery and not worth $50+ with tax.
Yeah I mean they are decent cases but for the price there are so many other better options out there.

For me this is worth it and useful. Recently my phone slips out on my hand😂 and stumbles and whew what a relief no damage or dings on any part of my phone.

Only reason I dont buy anything else beside these when it comes to silicone case. Tried every brand on Amazon and the buttons, bottom is just super loose. In and out the pocket and it already ripped. $50 but last me 8 months until I dropped it. Things about silicone is that it gets slippery overtime. When the coating is rubbed off, reveal the shiny silicone underneath and its kinda slippery if you have wet hands.
What happened to the case when you dropped it? Generally curious.
I agree. the one on my 13 Pro max I dropped the phone once and it got destroyed.
You need to check out that UAG Metropolis LT Kevlar case. Definitely in my top 5. Right up there with the Apple silicone case and Caudabe Sheath.

Watching this video in 2022 trying to decide whether this case is worth for the 14 pro. I must say, this blue on blue looks amazing. Wish they would have kept the sierra blue.
I’ve been thinking should I get the iPhone silicone case but don’t want to pay $79 for one (I live in Australia), will probably go for the Sheath which is $48 thanks to your video. The only thing that I will miss is the speaker holes and apple logo on the Apple case, but I’d rather great protection on my $1800 phone.
I tried the iPhone silicone case as a stop gap case as the Otterbox Defender Pro case was out of stock for my 13 Pro Max. The Apple silicone case would have been a better value if the display lip had 0.5 mm higher on the forehead and chin with 0.25 mm on sides, minimal shock absorption material in the rim and back of inside and a better camera lip. However, I did appreciate the fit but not the slick finish.

My two problems with apple silicone case is 1. It wears and breaks down unusually fast. 2. It is a massive LINT MAGNET.
The lint is a huge issue. Everytime I take it out of my jeans pocket it's just full of lint and dust.

I almost picked up an open box at Best Buy for $43. Same color. I’ve almost bought one a few times. The Sheath is my daily for now.
I promise you understand the color contrast combos. I keep telling people the abyss blue looks good with Sierra Blue IPhone. The Sky blue works with the 13 blue non pro.
Anyways I’m here for the abyss review. I have the 13 pro graphite. 👍🏾

I like the Apple silicone case when i use the phone in the pool or when its raining outside, when it gets wet, it dries immediately.

I like this case… however, its TGH!!! Also i dont like how theres a sliver of housing exposed on the front. Ive had the Apple Leather Case and the Silicone, both of which i have dropped and have managed to somehow knick that housing!! Happened on my 12pro Max and 13 Pro smh… so now I prefer a case that completely covers my phone only expoing ports. I wish they would make Silicone MagSafe Wallet… its too hard getting your cards out of the leather wallet and it only holds 2 cards. I pay to play when it comes to Apple, however there are better and cheaper options out there
Everything apple pro was surprised the silicone and clear case survived their drop test.
The real question is does the silicone case get stuck to your pocket or pull your pocket out?

I’m gonna try Spigen’s silicone cases this year. It’s $29.99 and has the soft lining as well. Plus they have a full on black & white which Apple didn’t do this year.

Last year you said you prefer the synthesis over the sheath hey I understand how you change your mind I’m a woman and I can never make up my mind. Apple leather is a better case then the silicone. Apple silicone starts to rub off and it’s looks awful after about 6 months. If you have hot oily hands forget the silicone. I will give you say a month and you will be back to the max guaranteed you can’t beat the battery I love my 12 pro max I won’t be buying another iPhone maybe when they finally decide to perfect the flip

Get it on discount. Caudabe does wear on the corners. Other ones are plastic. Apple is then really worth it.

Is it just me or is the apple logo on the back of the case kinda hard to see sometimes
i feel like if the case had more lip protection around the screen in top of the phone and more protective then i’ll feel it’s worth it. but this is just a basic cheap case apple created and slapped a magsafe inside it and an apple on the back in charging us $50 i’ll go with an $35 buck case any day into they decide to make these cases MORE protective. otterbox would never!
Tbh with cases i dont mind paying alot for one because they are protecting a really expensive item, please dont try to get a really cheap case becaise most of the time they wont be amazing

I love my case . But it started to tear after a few months . So the one for 12$ from Amazon works the same for me .
I purchased one of these and within a month the corners were peeling off which made it so the phone was not held in tightly and looked aweful.
I contacted apple support and they a agreed to send me a replacement and it’s been 1 week and it’s starting again.
I’ve never dropped the phone or the case.

Screen protector is always a must without a doubt.
Every time I buy an apple case it’s the same thing. Drop it once or twice and tears show up around the corners also dents show up after one drop. Think there so overpriced also. Think it’s time to try other cases.
You saved me buying silicon and go with leather instead.
I tend to be the odd person who doesn't mind a little bulk in a case, so I tend to favor the Otterbox Defender Pro myself. I tend to view protection over fashion as it were in a a case. This silicone case seems to be at the other end of the spectrum - they look great and are magsafe compatible, but offer very little protection
