I am a fan of Spigen Clear Cases - however, the "bumper" or frame part of the case does peel away from the the back plastic flat backing and it does yellow, but in terms of showing off a cool colour like gold, it does an ok job, but mainly it provides for the me the best grip and protection from falls. The edge sticks up higher than the glass so it 360 protection for me. To each their own.
Oh c'mon Aaron, that is how your woven case really looks after a week? I've been taking mine in and out of jeans pockets and using magsafe continuously for stands and mounts and charging, and there is not a mark on mine. It has the small ring starting to form the same way the ring formed on the leather case (I've always used leather cases and wish they were never discontinued). Other than the ring it's like new. What are you doing to your phone to get those marks on there?
I have a Cypress green silicone case for the 15 Pro and it sits in the case just fine in all corners. I also have an ESR clear case which is way better than the Apple version and has nice super-strong magnets.
Weirdly enough I had the alignment issue with this Apple silicone case on my 15 pro max but when I took it out and put it in top to bottom the problem went away & fit perfectly even with a spigen screen protector. So far after a week no issues other than the few filling fibres that may sometimes stick to the case. When I had the XSMAX Apple case it started losing the silicone on the bottom corners as the design was poorly made. They had the bottom exposed but covered the rest of the phone.
My fine woven taupe looks great after … well since the 22nd. I’ve washed it once and despite all its cons I’d pick it any day to the silicone case purely for how it feels in the hand.

I got the silicone case for the iPhone when I had a 12 mini, and I had a great finish just like you talked about, but eventually the outer layer rubbed off, and you end up with the very sticky silicone after a month or two, and I had to stop using it completely, because it was hard to even get out of my pocket.
I bought an Apple silicon case for my 15 Pro Max and it fits perfectly! I actually already dropped it on it's screen from about 3 feet up onto hard tile and it survived! I'm really liking it so far.
Since the new pro max has such fragile glass, will you be testing rear protectors by chance? Even with a case, the glass can break. Its something nobody talks about. I bought one for my bosses 14+ hoping it would help, rhinoshield.
I really don't think its significantly more fragile with a case. The main advantage of the 14 design was that the frame and glass were level, so the frame takes much of the shock. The slight curve on the 15 does mean the glass will take direct hits on specific drops, but in a case this is negligible imo. And the backglass can be replaced more easily.
Reg the clear case: I use it, the good thing is that it never yellows (main concern for me) it looks same as new even after 1.5 years of use! Reg slippery issue: it's strange because when out the case sticks to my hand and is just slippery when at home, it's magical I would say since it's reacting to the outside moisture. So I really like clear case 😊
Great video! I'm happy with my silicone case, I had the fine woven case for less than 24 hours before I returned it. Silicone case fits it just right and isn't too tacky to where it's constantly pulling my pockets inside out while removing the phone.
The bottomless rim on the clear case is great for using the swipe gesture at the bottom of the iPhone. I like it shows the color and although it’s greasy and slipperly indeed, it good enough for my use case.
@@abbakus_ I still like mine. I used 1tsp of liquid detergent and diluted it in a cup of water to clean it. Looks brand new again. It also got rid of the magsafe charger ring. Since I originally pre-ordered a 15 Pro and pre-ordered an otterbox, the Apple silicone case was an unplanned, blind purchase. Hi, I have an Orange Sorbet silicone case for 15 Pro Max and the corners are fine, with none of the screen protruding and it’s a good tight fit. I also have a fine woven wallet in Mulberry and so far, so good, but I do look after my stuff. As this is my first MagSafe phone, I did buy 3 😳 x apple leather wallets (forest green, dark cherry and umber) from a reseller before they sold out, because I do prefer the leather to the fine woven and I wanted future use options. I’m tempted to try a fine woven case, but my go to for out and about days, so for when taking photos and for selling at farmer’s markets is a mous limitless 5.0, with additional strap in the new Forest Green colour. I love the Newton gauge push test, thanks.
I picked up the Cypress Silicone case at launch, no tapping of the screen on mine. It actually feels more snug than the 14 Pro case did -- to remove it, I have to push pretty hard on the camera array to get it out.
Been using a fine woven case since the 15 came out and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with them. Feels nice to hold. Cases are there to be scratched and damaged etc instead of the phone.
The leather case was definitely the best most beautiful and protective case that Apple made. It’s a shame they discontinued it ! The clear one gets really dirty real quick because the dust gets underneath and that cut out on the bottom lip is just ridiculous. Silicone ones are dust and lint magnets, the fine woven ones wear very quickly. Wtf Apple…I went with the UAG Metropolis this time. First time not getting an Apple leather one…
Curious what wallet you use on the regular with the Mous case. I got a Mous case off your recommendation and have an ESR wallet and a Distil Union one and both feel just a tad loose on the case. They felt far more secure on and Apple brand case. Is it just the magnets in the Mous are weaker?
I got the clay silicon case for my 15 pro max (only to use until my mujjo leather one arrives). The only thing I like is the colour on my natural coloured phone. Other than that it’s too slippery and too much of a dust magnet
I had an Apple silicone case,I got from thrift store for a couple bucks. It was for a 15 pro max. So got a 15 pro max. The silicon case was a loose fitting not secure. So after a week I ordered a Mophie juice pack phone case. Always trusted mophie products. Phone case gives it more weight but securely fits I have small hands but if you gonna strain lifting and holding a couple pounds,go do some weight lifting.
Agree sadly. I bought the clear case with my iPhone 15 and while it looks fine, it's so slippery. Buttons are bad. $75 in Australia for a case I've replaced with a $10 knock off until I get a proper one I like. At least the knock off doesn't slip right out my hand. Shame. Also I'd like to use your links but need one that works in Australia. Can you do that?
My silicone case is fine on all corners with a screen protector. Seems to have just a bit of lip for drop protection and loving the precision cutouts for the speakers.
I’ve come to realize textured cases offer little to no finger print smudges as well as better overall grip, even matte finish clear cases are good option
Well I liked the clear case better when I had a gold iPhone 13 pro. Current colors are dull. For the record I still like the clear case. Mine is really tight on the phone, screen never hits, buttons work great, Open bottom make the speakers and microphone work better and at least you don't have to worry about the USB cable fitting unlike the off center finewoven. I liked the leather cases. Waiting on my Bullstrap case
Thank you for the Fine Woven Case review, because I was gonna get that case and your video really helped on changing my decision! Instead, I got the Clay Silicone Case for 15 Pro Max, the case is thin but it does look nice and the MagSafe works well too... so I just bought a lanyard, cause I'm really scared of dropping this gorgeous Natural Titanium lol
How much does it disperse energy on a fall would be far more interesting. I think the clear case might have an edge on absorbing damage since i’ve seen those break, while I don’t know if finewoven will pass that energy straight to the phone (like my previous leather one did)
Received my Keyway leather case for the 15PM and WOW! Hands down my favorite leather case to date. Beats Nomad and Bullstrap for comfort, grip, color and button firmness (to me that matters a TON!) Maybe do an updated review of Keyway? I always look to your videos for buying knowledge because we have the same taste, but I could only find one short of your write up on this brand.
How in THE world do people think MagSafe-compatible CLEAR CASES actually look good? They are visually ruined by the silly white MagSafe magnet ring! The entire point of a clear case is to show off your expensive phone as if it were naked, yet provide a bit of protection. But that white MagSafe ring on the clear case CLEARLY shows you have a case and the phone is not naked, and that looks bad. Think about it... What if you use your iPhone naked and then you put a sticker that looks like the MagSafe ring. Would such a white stick on back honestly look BETTER to you? LOL. Crazy to think it would. That's why I am constantly amazed to read the comments and see how many people don't care about aesthetics. People don't seem to mind that white ring! And that is why the Fine Woven will sell despite the flaws. That's because most people don't really care or have a good sense of what looks good and what looks bad.
I got a leather case with the same issue that you mention, camera side screen edge is parallel to the case. I thought because of too hard for the case cause my phone bending. (Too much complaint about 15 series titanium too soft when accidentally bend it)After saw you video the realise case could be problem even after installed to the phone 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Could you do a video on the Woodcessories cases (especially the bio case) pls? It looks interesting from a sustainability angle but I'd like to know whether it's a good case in general.
Hey, could you please do a video on the ‘softest iphone cases’ for those of us that want the feel but aren’t too bothered about the protection necessarily (since you have so many cases)!! Thanksss
You need to review the new green and blue Mous limitless. They have this nylon material on the back that’s so good and shows zero fingerprints. Best case I’ve ever owned
I Love my Apple 14 Pro leather case, in all honesty its my fave, so dissapointed Apple isnt making them anymore. My Apple Clear case i love that as well 😂 it feels like no other clear case i have ever had, granted its not protected on the bottom, but im super careful with my iphone. As far as the magnets on both my leather and clear case ive found them to be super strong when comparing them to the say my Spigen cases i have, but ive alwasy thought Spigens magnets have alwasy been quite weak. Never been a fan of the Apple silicon cases because as you said hairs and fluff stick to them and that is my worst OCD 😂
I have the fine woven in black for a week now. I cable charge. Don’t do MagSafe. My case looks as it did the day I bought it and am very happy with it, though I was skeptical at first.
This case is objectively bad value no matter how people try to defend it. “Product looks as it did a week ago” is about the lowest bar anyone can have. My $8 Amazon clear case also looks as it did more than a week ago. These woven cases also dont patina, they will look like ass in a few months soaking up some grease.
The Apple silicone cases have been declining in quality for years. I’m not particularly rough with my phones, but the cases kept cracking and peeling after just a few months of use. Not impressed. I have a Tuff 8 max glide guard case on my 15 pro and it’s been great so far
If you are hard on cases the silicone cases only last a couple of months I wouldn’t waste my money on them but Aaron is right it’s probably the best case Apple sells now

Do u think the pro max is worth the extra $500 in Canada over the plus?
I think the clear case might have an edge on absorbing damage since i’ve seen those break, while I don’t know if finewoven will pass that energy straight to the phone (like my previous leather one did)
Decided to hold on to my 14 pro max leather case and put it on the slightly narrower 15 PM
When is the cables’ review coming out?
What Apple Watch band are you wearing?
good vid. now I don’t have to worry about trying the woven case! i made the right decision yellow silicone! cheers
How is that casetify lineup video going? I’d love to see the comparison of the models!
Me too love casetify cases and want to order one but hanging off till I see Aaron’s review
Hey, could you please do a video on the ‘softest iphone cases’ for those of us that want the feel but aren’t too bothered about the protection necessarily (since you have so many cases)!! Thanksss
What's the weight difference if i may ask between these 3 cases?
The Apple pink silicone case for my 13 Pro Max has the same issue with the upper left corner.
How do you get your pup to stand so still?
Superglue
You need to review the new green and blue Mous limitless. They have this nylon material on the back that’s so good and shows zero fingerprints. Best case I’ve ever owned
Fine woven case user for 8 days no blemishes looks great still and the MagSafe wallet to match looks good on the phone so far so good
best reviewer out there
Just tested my grey 15pro case, screen doesn’t stick out but you made me check.
I do find that they are a little lint magnety for a couple weeks but once they get broken in they don’t seem to attract lint anymore.
Great video :)
OtterBox defender with back glass protector and screen protector and belt clip all day everyday
I truly appreciate your scientific approach to testing. You really back things up instead of just speaking from your ass and I appreciate it!
I’ve returned mine. It was not bad but I could not stand its very slippery edges. I now have silicon case and it has much more grip.
The Apple silicone cases have been declining in quality for years. I’m not particularly rough with my phones, but the cases kept cracking and peeling after just a few months of use. Not impressed. I have a Tuff 8 max glide guard case on my 15 pro and it’s been great so far
If you are hard on cases the silicone cases only last a couple of months I wouldn’t waste my money on them but Aaron is right it’s probably the best case Apple sells now
It seems microfiber lining on the inside has been added to offer protection when dropped on the backside of the iPhone. Do you agree?
can you pls review the bitmolab case that has the extra action button pls
Have you reviewed the new Moft accessories? The Snap Float Folio for iPads (2023) and the Snap Phone Tripod Stand ? Would love to get your unbiased opinion on it!
The one thing that really sealed it for me against the finewoven case was seeing them in the Apple Store just a few days after release. Totally scuffed and did not look good at all.
Can you make the same Video with the new Nomad cases? comparing leather and sport
Thank you !!
CAN YOU MAKE A REVIEW ON THE TORRAS UPRO CASE PLS?!
Is that phone the natural titanium or white?
Such a sweet dog 😍
Do any of these cases leave marks on the titanium edge?
Nope.
