Hey Joe! All these NEW vitavon parts for the TRAXXAS Sledge are looking much beefier now... But (at 4') there's a lot of sand in the open (used) vitavon bulkhead (open square hole /under site). No gasked / no (rubber) sealing for the square hole... Sand + Grease = "Grinding paste" for the NEW Ring and Pinion Gear... Not very helpful, i mean... What do you think about sealing this square hole (with oil resistant Silicon), to protect the gears / bearings from penetrating sand ? 🤔
awesome video Joe. that sledge is a beast. I love vitavon parts. there quality is top notch.. A bit pricey thought, but once you finish a car it is worth it
My speed run Rustlers had all integy metal, chassis, arms the whole kit and kaboodle and I still hitt 100+ imo that weight kept me grounded and to me that was a good thing 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Hello Joe 😎 such a fantastic full energy show here when’s the 2nd show the diff housings look smashing What weight diff oil did you put in the rear 😯 as you never mentioned I think ✅ nice of you it’s share💯💥
I just got the last vitavon parts for my K6. bulkheads and centre diff support. for that same reason of holding the gears in place when all that power is trying to rip them apart. Got the metal diff casses and m2c driveshafts too so from motor to wheels, it's as tough as can be now. But going to order the XL chassis and build it all on to that.
@@ExocagedRC I always stayed away from aluminum arms on bashers but got a set for my laser nut 2 months ago and honestly been super happy with them! No bending and had taken some hard hits!
That thing looks like it’s doing great. I saw gpm has aluminum arms available fyi. They also have drive shafts that are 6mm carbon steel. Not sure what I’ll choose for mine. 🤔
@EXO.. can you tell us about vitavon? They seem like a mysterious Chinese company. They look great but I’m curious about them. Are the a O.E. manufacturer or something. I can’t find nothing on them
Anything you need that is on back order get with me our local hobby shop keeps a lot stuff in stock when you can’t find it on line they will have tell me what you need and I can probably get it for besides the vitavon cause you have that down lol
Just put some firmer wheels and tires and that thing will rip allot better its trying smash the stock wheels cause all the exstra Vitavon upgraded parts that are awsome and up the suspension too. You Rock man you know it. Another thing try to make all your bashers where the front susspension always bigger bore shocks then the rear but keep the same size in length there suppose to be cause they take harder hits in the front rather then the rear. Thats what im trying to do to all my rigs.
theres a old saying that holds true . chrome dont get you home. yup that looks great but its lipstick on a pig . all those metal is adding tons of weight . after you pay for all that stuff you could of just got a 1/8 kraton exb and built it the way you want to . instead of tossing money down the drain only to have to sink another 5-800 in upgrades
Damn, thats another sledge worth of parts. Expensive hobby
Bro you make me so happy when I watch your videos.
The Vitavon looks awesome!
Uploading at 5am. Dedication. Great video

Vitavon everything 😁👍🏽
I haven’t ever done metal arms on a basher like this but what the heck. Let’s give it a try.

Take that motor mount off an get the stronger 1 off Amazon for the sledge

Should be called Vitavonification! LOL!
Nice conversion. Would have been a good idea to clean the truck first so you’re not working in sand.
Yeaaaah boy! Tankification!! 💪👌😂😂
Hey man how are the vitavon gears holding up??
At 5:43 I swear it changes colors when you touch it
So, how much are all those parts?
What dif fluid did you use?
So mint!
Hey. Do they sell vitavon parts in USA?
nice 🙏🏻👍👍👍👍
Are you a vitavon dealer?

What do you mean?
You need a m2c chassis
Uno😁👍
I wanted a sledge. But then I saw how many people bent the frame and had to sink 1000 dollars worth of parts into it to make it decently bashable..
Is it worse than the exb Arrma? My friend has a sledge and he loves it.
For the heavy basher, xmaxx is all I will need.
