Remember to check the diff ring and pinion gap as the car breaks in... to stop stripping gears.. I race my typhon and am ADHD about maintaince

I decided to buy the Kraton 8S EXB as well. Including Castle xlx2 800kv, new coolers, Futaba T10PX, RPM parts, 11000 mAh 4S battery, and the Proline wheels. And the stuff to read all the data of the Castle motor through the Futaba. I saw this video and you use similar parts I did choose. I think your car only should try the Proline Masher X HP tires. It lifts the car to a superior level of control and steering. It has so much more grip compared ot the stock wheels. Take care and have fun.

Cool video, Cool to see the K8S EXB out it's sad that Horizon Hobby discontinued them and they only have the O8S EXB maybe that one will also get discontinued. I have looked into the Arrma 8s 1\5 rigs but Kev Talbot drove me away from getting them and i'm now looking into the XRT and i might get one someday.
Unless you’re sending them crazy high and being too crazy with them, they will not break.
I’ve had my K8S EXB for over a year and 70 battery packs and I’ve only broke two driveshaft pins a month ago. Amazingly fun truck

K8 is one of my favorites. At this point mine is fully m2c racing just because of my style, but extremely fun car

doesn't it break your pins in the half shafts? because I have a problem and every ride I change the pins maybe you have any advice what to use now I tried the drill but it also broke off

That grinding noise, is that normal? Im new to rc and just got the XRT but also thinking of getting this Kraton 8s exb. That grinding noise is making me think twice.

I was going to buy one. Apparently there is an issue with the esc. When going from 3/4 throttle to 1/4 throttle it induces a drag brake. So people are nose diving while in the air. You can test it on the ground also. Have you experienced it. Thanks for the video.
I think your talking about the 6s kraton exb rtr as this truck is an older roller and the new exb 8s rtrs don’t have that issue
