Thank you for this new update on this new Maxx Slash, i am liking your ideas & suggestions & am deffo pulling the trigger on this one, i am sure it will be a beast 👌🏼👍🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼
I've got the EXB K8S. I bent the chassis pretty quickly with 26ft high jumps, so I had to put an M2C chassis and I've had to upgrade other stuff. In the end, it's much more expensive to run the K8S than the big plastic chassis vehicles from Traxxas. I've got an upgraded Xmaxx too. For my kind of bashing, the Arrma 8s trucks break more than my X-Maxx or sure. It's because of the weight difference. Sure the Arrma 8s trucks are more stable than the Xmaxx, but yeah. Cheers
This is why I am thinking of getting a maxx v2 over the sledge. The plastic chassis is $23 bucks for the maxx and the metal one is $70 for the sledge. I'd have to break the one on the maxx 3 times to equal one chassis for the sledge.
@@blue-steel7177 You will never break the chassis on the Maxx. I've never heard of anyone doing it while bashing. I've seen someone split it in three parts, but they were going full speed and they hit the axle of an SUV. My problem with the Maxx is the bulkheads. I crack the upper and lower ones regularly. I also had to put aluminum hubs and a gpm spur gear cover and motor mount. My motor kept shifting on me and the hubs and the driveshafts were breaking on me. So the Maxx V2 or V1 is not perfect either. After you replace the chassis on the Sledge with an M2C one, then the Sledge is probably tougher, but it's so expensive to begin with. Cheers.
