Your videos are usually really good, this one misses the brake rewind, quite important as it doesn't help your viewers and makes the job look too easy.
Thank you for your feedback! We make our videos based on recommendations we get from people who need them. Your preference will be certainly taken into consideration. Best regards, Autodoc!
I can tell you that they are definitely not loose. The torque spec is 70 Nm + 90 degrees IIRC, so they are VERY tight. Also, remember to renew these bolts after opening.
In general, the replacement will be similar, the only thing may be slightly different is the design features of your car. More accurate information can be obtained from the technical documentation for the car or by contacting the car service.
Quite a good and "educational" video, there are a few things though. It's mentioned 13mm and 17mm, though my car has 13mm and 15mm on the counter nuts (when removing the bolts that hold the caliper in place). It's actually not necessary to remove the two XZN bolts (or what you call TX M14) i order to remove the disc. Once the caliper is gone and the small TX27 (or TX25 not sure) bolt is removed, then just give a good tap with the hammer on the disc and then just slide it out. To remove the two XZN bolts is such a hustle and it's not necessary (Octavia 3 MY 2015) Another thing is that there is no showing of how to retract the caliper cylinder (which i would say is quite important). this can be done quite simple actually, using a adjustable hand vise and a set of pipe pliers (be very careful not to pinch the rubber cover on the cylinder though) Otherwise quite educative as mentioned before.
I like this video, very useful. However, I have been told to use copperpaste on the brakepads (not the side that has contact with the discs), but I didn't see it being applied here. Not sure where exactly to apply it either.
Thank you for the feedback! This video is considered to be an informative one, and it shows the sequence of repairs, so some stages of the repairs might have been excluded. Best regards, Autodoc.
Don't put cooper slip on the rear of the pads. There is a plate on the pad which is antisqueal. Only use copper grease on hub to wheel and the moving ears on pads. Red grease on slider pins
Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, this video missed the lubrication procedure, but be sure, that in future we will corect this problem and will show this replacement with using lubricants in more details. Best regards, Autodoc.
Thank you for the feedback! All torque specs are indicated in the technical documentation on the vehicle maintenance, you can find them out at the official car dealer. Best regards, Autodoc.
Here are some of the issues you might have.... the XZN socket needs to be short (about 60mm long) or it might clash with the suspension. The bolts are very tight and having the car on axle stands may not give enough room to get leverage. Next, if the pads are completely worn the piston might be so far out that there is no room to fit the tool in that pushes the pistons back. Doing it manually does not seem to work. I’ve had a complete nightmare. And it looked so easy!
Thank you for the precise clarification and recommendations, we are surely consider them in our next video. Our video are informative and before shooting we often dismantle the car parts to replace them fast on a video. Your advices and recommendations are very valuable for us. Best regards, Autodoc.
The M14 Spine bolts that hold the pads are a lot easier to remove when vehicle is in the air and there is not much room if your using an axle stand .Just something to consider .
Shouldn't let them get that bad, i do change mines before they get that bad, also do spray these nuts a few days before hand which makes a massive difference
Look, I will say it again AutoDoc, If you would have a UK warehouse, or free delivery with low prices, I would never go buy s*t parts on ebay, instead of all good brand you have. I'm in love with you, I wanna buy all the parts you have, but I can't buy it from you. And yes I know after 100 or something, its free maybe but my all purchases was below it one by one. even in total way too more. Please pass this request to some places admin. love you too. ))

You can find this information in the technical documentation for car repairs.
Doesn't show you how to rewind brake piston

You are absolutely right, we have already fixed these errors in the new videos.

also when buying a new brake disc, always degrease it, as it will come with a protective oil coating to stop it rusting in the factory

Not a torx either...triple square M14 is what you need and a) make sure it is right in and b) try doing it on axle stands...!
you are not kidding! I had to warm mine up with a blowlamp, and I nearly shit myself I pulled so hard on them.
Please describe (name) the tool and socket at 2:04
Would this be identical for a 2019 Skoda Karoq 1.5tsi Sportline?

any torg wrench?
You are absolutely right, in practice it is absolutely necessary to use a torque wrench and observe the appropriate tightening torques.

Is the torx M14 the special XZN M14 socket?
Thank you for the feedback! All torque specs are indicated in the technical documentation on the vehicle maintenance, you can find them out at the official car dealer. Best regards, Autodoc.
Great generic reply that did not even answer the question. Yes, the M14 is an XZN (triple-square), not Torx.
Yes M14 can or triple square bit
Are ‘delphi lockheed’ brake pads OE equivalent ? For a stock skoda yeti
Thank you for the feedback! In case spare parts are compatible according to the OEM number they will meet all standards. Best regards, Autodoc

lets see how easy it on a set of worn pads with the pistons right out
Thanks for your comment, we'll take that into account in the next videos.

Just push them out with 2 wrenches or 1 big applyer…
Shouldn't let them get that bad, i do change mines before they get that bad, also do spray these nuts a few days before hand which makes a massive difference
Does not help either if year not know, ie electric handbrake.
"No, I don't want to do a brake-changing video. It's not fair!"
"Just get out there and fucking do it! And try an' look happy!"

When replacing pads and discs, for safety reasons, it is also recommended to restore the brake callipers.
