    How about black walnuts?
    In a bowl I mix Pistachio, macadamia, Blanched almond slivers, walnuts, Black walnuts, Brazil nuts, sunflower seeds
    (None of these are roasted)
    Then I pour in extra virgin olive oil from Italy and add a bit of Himalayan salt.
    On a side note I eat 2 small organic bitter apricot kernels a day

    Back in my early 20s, there was a health store that sold RAW CASHEWS by the one pound bag and they were GOOOOD!! Totally different flavor, too!!Now they are warning against that saying they are toxic and poisonous eating them raw.! I never got sick! But the price finally had me stop eating them. A one pound bag did go a long way as they were expensive. But, my! They were GOOO0D!!❤ Now my main nut I eat every day are walnuts, a couple almonds (almonds are VERY HIGH OXALATE which causes kidney stones) and some other nuts in limited quantities.

      It's great to hear about your positive experience with raw cashews. While raw cashews are technically not truly raw due to the necessary steaming process to remove their toxic shells, they are still a nutritious snack. Prices can certainly impact our food choices, but it's good to hear you've found other nuts to enjoy. Thanks for sharing your experience and for watching the video!

      @@mikkikas6821 you really don't know what to eat anymore, everyone has different opinions, one day your told this is good for you. The next day it's bad for you, I try to eat a balanced diet of nuts, whole grains, fruits. Veggies, fish, cut down on oils, eat certain organic foods because of pesticides, and steer clear of foods from China and South America countries that have no pesticide laws. And I'll splurge occasionally and grill a grass fed burger. I don't eat fast food or restaurant food, because I can make a better tasting and healthier meal.

      I'm not Dr. Li, but yes, for maximum health benefits, it's best to consume pistachios and macadamia nuts raw as well. Raw nuts retain their natural nutrients, healthy fats, and enzymes, which can be diminished through roasting. By including raw pistachios and macadamia nuts in your mix, you're ensuring you get the full spectrum of their nutritional benefits.

    Activated almonds - soak for 24 hours in filtered water and change the water after 12 hours. Eat the almonds raw and this treatment makes them easier to digest as well. When I eat activated almonds daily I have noticed my hair is a lot more shiny and healthy looking due to the high quality of the proteins in activated almonds. Loved the video Dr Li and I will incorporate all the various nuts you have mentioned with their wonderful benefits for better health. Thank you, Debra

    Should nuts be eaten raw or roasted? This is not addressed. Also, please inform as to sprouted seeds such as pumpkin and sunflower.

    • @medicalmarvelsmedia3
      @medicalmarvelsmedia3  Місяць тому +3

      Whether to eat nuts raw or roasted depends on personal preference and specific health considerations. Raw nuts retain their natural nutrients and healthy fats, but some people may find them harder to digest. Roasting can enhance flavor and make nuts easier to digest, but it can also reduce some nutrient content and potentially form harmful compounds if roasted at high temperatures.
      Sprouted seeds, such as pumpkin and sunflower seeds, offer additional health benefits. Sprouting increases the bioavailability of nutrients, making them easier to digest and enhancing their nutrient profile. Sprouted seeds are rich in enzymes, vitamins, and minerals, making them a nutritious addition to your diet.
