Well as for playing with any alutecnos very minimal but I have and they pretty good reels but the price is what keeps me away from buying them when all the avets i have played with can virtually do the same at a cheaper price... however the everol on has line capacity on both.. other than that they don't have the low gearing to move dead weight including my surf weights... so I would go with the Avets...

Biggest is 11 ft been so busy at the shop hadn't had the chance to put in a ton of time fishing ... however that 11 didn't even stand a chance the video is on Here.

Are you planning to horse them in.. are you deep dropping.braid helps with getting down faster without any big bow in the lines.... trolling must use mono
Yes we used to use mono for top shots when we were using solid braid... bow with hollow it's has increase our hook ups and also life of the braid and lowered the costs in the long run..
It's set up for monster tuna and monster shark fishing... so far all o have hooked up with is 8ft bull so fsr caught my 13ft tiger on a 80w trx... but will definitely be putting it to some monsters later this year..

This reel is very similar in the dimensions of my Everol 14/0’s. They should be able to hold 1,500 yards of 200 lb HC braid and 500 yards of 130 lb Momoi topshot.

I like the vids bro. But if I spend that much on a reel I would want to use the max drag if I could so I would of went with 200lb braid. The sand will cut that braid eventually on seriously long drops.
When would you ever need that much line, even if you were fishing the Mariana Trench, you wouldn't need that much. But for real, when and for what species do you fish with that reel?
We love to take Bait deeper since we a are land based shark fishermen to see if by chance we get what the up close 80s dont hook up with.. we run baits in a spread checking all depths... maybe we might get reel lucky with a strange catch or the monster shark we been searching for...but too if it does get cut off it allows us to keep using the reel with the remaining line on it...

This is great information that you’re putting out there, and I’m a big fan....but in terms of editing I think the editing breaks every 100 yards when spooling almost 4000 yards of line is a touch much and starts to lose people. Maybe 500 yard increments at that level? I really enjoy the content and I’m just trying to give some constructive criticism. Just my two cents. Thank you for the video, sir.

Yes sir that's actually a 2 part answer and question.. the smaller avet single and 2 speed yes I def have to agree with you about the pinion and bearings.. however the G2 series is def step up and top line is the RAPTOR series ... been fishing them hard without any slacking and they are holding up big time...
The hollow core doesn't sit on the bottom it's almost buoyant... will float when no pressure and or big waves.. have got a video showing me go out and tie back in on a couple lines that were cut off

Well as for playing with any alutecnos very minimal but I have and they pretty good reels but the price is what keeps me away from buying them when all the avets i have played with can virtually do the same at a cheaper price... however the everol on has line capacity on both.. other than that they don't have the low gearing to move dead weight including my surf weights... so I would go with the Avets...
How much drag does that thing make?
They are saying over 200lb...but hasn't been confirmed... the 80w trx puts 130lb..

Yes we used to use mono for top shots when we were using solid braid... bow with hollow it's has increase our hook ups and also life of the braid and lowered the costs in the long run..
Team Hard Life makes sense , I’ll have to try out hollow braid instead.
Team Hard Life mono top shots don’t last at all so I can see where you are coming from on lowering cost in the long run.

I like the vids bro. But if I spend that much on a reel I would want to use the max drag if I could so I would of went with 200lb braid. The sand will cut that braid eventually on seriously long drops.
More times than not for us it isn't the same but something else some other kind of debris or toothy critters... and were still using 130lb..

We love to take Bait deeper since we a are land based shark fishermen to see if by chance we get what the up close 80s dont hook up with.. we run baits in a spread checking all depths... maybe we might get reel lucky with a strange catch or the monster shark we been searching for...but too if it does get cut off it allows us to keep using the reel with the remaining line on it...

This is great information that you’re putting out there, and I’m a big fan....but in terms of editing I think the editing breaks every 100 yards when spooling almost 4000 yards of line is a touch much and starts to lose people. Maybe 500 yard increments at that level? I really enjoy the content and I’m just trying to give some constructive criticism. Just my two cents. Thank you for the video, sir.

Yes sir that's actually a 2 part answer and question.. the smaller avet single and 2 speed yes I def have to agree with you about the pinion and bearings.. however the G2 series is def step up and top line is the RAPTOR series ... been fishing them hard without any slacking and they are holding up big time...
The hollow core doesn't sit on the bottom it's almost buoyant... will float when no pressure and or big waves.. have got a video showing me go out and tie back in on a couple lines that were cut off
