Nice video, good stuff. That's how you learn trial and error when fishing solo. When I shark fish solo I just rope my leader around the weight and pull the rope much easier to control and way easier to pull the shark up especially if it a 6 to 7ft + shark. Keep up the good work.
I'm glad the shark made it. I'm not going to say what things could have been done differently. Definitely don't go alone if that shark would have died you would be feeling like crap. We know that we only got so much time to dehook the shark
Leave them alone shark finning is a sin against all nature and I don't like what your doing leave the sting Ray's alone as well. Maybe the lightning trying to tell you something. you do know playing a big fish for a long time can kill them they fill up with lactic acid and can and do die from it. Don't say we not on your side, take the hook stick in your cheek set it hard see how it feel's then try doing some reading about lactic acid ànd fish that's the outcome every minute it takes you longer and longer no the camera for you not her you don't really care if she lives or die's don't dare say she just fine, your beat right now poor baby how about the shark.

Wow, I was already stressing when the rope wouldn't stay on the fish but once the line got tangled in your feet I was very worried. What an amazing shark in some unfavorable weather but glad to see you get it back with what looks like to be a tracker on its fins. All the things that could happen happened but you made it out, and yeah possibly no more solo shark fishing for behemoths of that size. Great stressful video!

That was painful to watch man. Unnecessarily complicated for you and the shark as well. Maybe next time you go alone have some metal rod rammed into the sand around which you can fixate the line. That way you'll have two hands free.
