I admit, Snake wasn't very good, but CQC'ing him still was a lot of fun.
Not the highest level of play, but I hope it's still entertaining :)
Seeing Snake and Raiden fall for porno and getting choked out is just unsettling but hilarious every time...
Man they should of remastered mgs4/mgo2 for the ps4 years ago. Such a shame.

You can play it on fan servers but you have to hack your PS3. One of the projects is SaveMGO

look closer, you can see a ghost like of snake there. This only happens if he don't have 100% camouflage. Example: on 93% - 99% camouflage, which you need to get very close to see the ghost/stealth version of him. which can be bad since he has more time to prep to knock you out. And also he heard snake's stealth camo going off...

All these posts sound like low level rage. Game was fine, let you classify who was good and what not. Also kept rooms independent...more games should be made with this concept...kojima is a competitive mind

@JohnDoe2089 box 3 takes 3 full seconds to be ready again,and only takes away a bar of stam,but if the person using it is lagging,then its impossible to avoid,otherwise its not too hard to beat it with cqc,but its nearly useless in gun fights,unlike ex, id personally say that ex is much better

I love how people STILL bitch about CQC EX. It was fine before the nerf, and afterwards it's one of the least beneficial skills you can select since it costs all 4 slots...but people still bitch about it...haha

CQC Expert, not a big deal though, you dont actually do anything, if the enemy tries to CQC you from the front you do it automatically

ah the cheap tactics of MGO.... always old, auto counter and auto aim, switching to box to auto crouch...
While there is nothing wrong with these tactics I can only imagine that the people who performed them must look like they're having a seizure with their joypad.

Lucky Fuckers i had so much trouble playing MGO and when i know how 2 get it workin MGO shuts off kind of tired just playing story litterly play it over 20 times all defficulties now im just goin for big boss emblem but ive wouldve been good if i play especially Snake my fav ever sense MGS1 but ya i guess your ok :)

There won't be a MGO3, MGO2 was a failure hence why it was shut down to begin with. MGS4 is a great game, but it just doesn't work for multiplayer. It's a game requiring alot of dedication and practice to do well at. In a multiplayer game, this is a no-no. You end up with a small community of really good competitive people, people that really don't play anything besides MGO.

MGO died a slow, painful death. The tryhards push out the casuals in their never ending quest to prove they're better than everyone else. In it's final days, MGO was a cesspool of the worst of the worst types of players. The lack of players and the unfortunate corpse of a game MGO had become ultimately convinced Konami to pull the plug. It's a tragic end under tragic circumstances, but it had to be done for the good of everyone.

It's this type of community that ruins the game for any casual gamers looking to just enjoy themselves, because getting instantly killed every time you peek around a corner, really isn't enjoyable. It's because of this, that the meat of the community, the casual gamers, start leaving. And when they're gone the game starts dying. Servers get shut down. And before long, it's gone.

MGS is a horrible shooter
I can honestly say I don't miss MGO. It really was shit. It was a good concept, but the overly-aggressive community really ruined it. MGS is one of those games that just shouldn't have competitive-multiplayer. Like Dead Space or Checkers. Co-op is wonderful for it, though. Peace Walker pulled it off well.
