I bought pieces that slip right over those rust spots, it has all brackets pre welded on it. Just cleant the old rust, rein frame a bit then slip it over and weld in place. Way easier than replacing whole frame
In Australia my 01 tj 4.0 5 speed has dana 44 lsd rear and dana 30 front diff..usal tooth pick y link steering.hard top full door...love the tj solid setup
@LifeofaDAD05 for what I do the rear 44 LSD Il leave as it is.and just run a front locker in the 30..I'm on 35x12.5 x15s not alot of places it won't go..next mods are diff gears and manual to auto swap..do you ever really stop changing a TJ 😂✌️
Well, I see multi part videos coming on your TJ. I will be looking forward to them. I would say you could probably get around $ 6000.00 for it . They are becoming harder to find nowadays . The little bit of rust on the frame can be repaired like you said and trying to match the body color would also be easy thru and body shop paint supplier as BlueTx68F100 said. Take care and looking forward to your up coming videos.
Nice TJ! Keen to see how the project goes.

A good automotive paint supply store will have a scanner they can put on your paint to scan it. Then they can mix the paint to match what you have.
It's more Jeep than a new Fiat and will last far longer. Definitely worth fixing.
