Just some background on thing other people might not get.
CCCR Meet is a fellow Diesel sub group Cape Cod Coal Rollers, great guys and can take a joke. Thanks to Rusty Kriehn and his group for being good Sports.
Also another joke around here in New England is everyone asks if the Vehicle has "Seen Snow" even if the truck is parked on top of a snow bank in the picture lol..So that's why that's in there.
Finally I've been a 6.0 owner since 05 and have been through the trials and tribulations of owning a 6.0 (which is currently in the shop for injectors). I am also in the process of building a full race motor with compounds and build a true "bullet proof" 6.0
This video is about what every 6.0 owner has to go through as some point in time. Keep it and keep forking over tons of money when it breaks or be force to drive something else. There's nothing like the sound of a 6.0

My 6.0 has over 170k on it. All stock. And tuned. I believe if you do have the luck of the draw with these motors. If it blows a head gasket at 200k, well that's 200k of a beating it took. Egr will soon be removed though, along with that dang ipc sensor, finally went out. I have an 04 with the 03 motor btw.

I share that pain. I have an early 04 excursion with a 6.0. What I can't figure out, is why Ford would use a great transmission and axles, just to put in this problematic piece of shit engine in it. Mine is getting converted to a 5.9 12 valve cummins. A proven motor. It almost seems like you have to find your favorite body style and change out a large portion of the drivetrain in order to have the perfect truck. Will someone please have the customer in mind when you build us a truck? You already ask a lot of money for all these trucks. Make it worth it! Pretty please! With a Fuckin cherry on top!

I agree! I've driven one. A 2015 super duty crew cab long bed 6.7. I rented it when my excursion was getting bullet proofed. Lots of power and they drive like a sport tuned car. But I just started a welding business and low on funds. But that 6.7 is totally awesome. Even better because its built by Ford instead of Navistar. The only down side to the super duty now, is the weak axles. But with Dodge you have to replace the tranny and rear diff. Chevy you have to replace the low end Alison. For me I'd rather replace axles. I like to climb off road. Thanks for the support, Buddy!

I rented a 2015 superduty with a 6.7 and it was a nice truck. But I noticed the axles looked smaller in diameter than the ones on my early 2004 excursion. I've heard that they're prone to snapping.
