this was my freshman year. I felt like nothing till I joined this great band. I'm glad I can say that I can be around for another few years and help make it better since its our 10th year anniversary this year. Go Mighty Mustangs!
y'all are really good...i go to Wando high school and i'm in the band, i play piccolo...we loved y'all's show last year at BOA....we went into BOA not even knowing if we were going to make finals...but we knew we weren't going to beat y'all....y'all are just way to good...you inspire us!!!!!
Wow. That was great and it was only the Cobb Exhibition. As a former KMHS band parent, I know that the exhibition show isn't anywhere near the finished product. There is alot of changing stuff around and alot of practicing that go into the performance between Exhibition & Nationals. This performance was great, so I can only imagine how fantastic it's going to be when you go to Grand Nationals. Congrats on winning the Atlanta Super Regional and good luck at Grand Nationals!
OMG! ALL TIME FAVE SHOW EVER!!!!!I FREAKING LOVE THIS SHOW! AND THE FLUTE! THE TUNE AND TONE WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!I SAW YOU GUYS AT BOA! YOUR FORMS, TIMING, FEET?!?!?!?!?!?! CONGRATS ON GETTING 8TH!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOUR SHOW!!!!!!!!!! thanks, stacie ott(dixie heights high school floutist) **im the one who blacked out in the middle of the show and went the wrong way in the front.**
wow mr harper was thier band director during this show and now hes at mceachern and he always plays that melody @ 00:13 to 00:23 for us in class and now i know where its from
I think it was a regular reset for her cause if you see two of them pulled out and they had the right flag. Someone on here said that the closer was put on the field two days before this show so they probably forgot the guard work as was told to fall out before.
@MrJacobtc Well, no -- it's a very famous song called "Simple Gifts" from Elder Joseph Brackett. It was also famously written into "Appalachian Spring" by Aaron Copland, which is what has made it so popular. I will say that it's one of the most performed melodies of all time in band music.
uhmm.. or Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland which was later turned into the much more popular song simple gifts which has lyrics -random fact for the day
Can somebody watcht the guard at 9:20 and tell me what's going on? lol It looks like half the guard picked up the wrong flag then sat on the sideline?!?!?!
16? Good god there is only 5 marching bands in our county and only two of them could be as good as yall if they had the discipline. They are able to slide when they do some bad stuff.
